wow. i like what i'm hearing . great set up too. sorry for my ignorance. i've never seen these speakers before. they look like semi Open Baffle for the Mid range & Tweeter (Dipole maybe? ), and the Base unit in a box. well, at the end of the day. regardless of what they are. they sound great.. enjoy the music and thanks for sharing.

Now let me explain a bit about the speakers 🔊. They are indeed a hybrid design created by the great Carl Marchisotto (of Dahlquist fame) consisting of a dipole, phase arrayed midrange and tweeter with the woofer housed in an acoustic suspension cabinet. They create a soundstage and realism I first fell in love with his Dahlquist DQ-10's back in the 70's. To me they combine the sound of flat panel speakers with the dynamics of more typical drivers 🥰👌. The model you heard are his now vintage Acarian Systems Alon ll's. His designs are still available with his latest venture called NOLA speakers 😉
