This game was ehh but I'll say, my favorite mechanic of this game was how they used managers. For example, if you have paul bearer, he'll either hit you with the urn or give you power. With bobby heenan, he feeds you advice or sneaks in brass knuckles. Jimmy Hart, he hits you with his megaphone or screams at you to distract your opponent. Lastly Mr. Fuji, he'll use his cane as a weapon or to pull you down outside the ring or throw salt into your face.

And let's not talk about the controls, and how this game be cheating for the CPU!! Again this is my opinion!!
I think they tried to make this game feel like you was replaying the match, so they had a lot of scripted motions and scripted setups. Kinda like the Rey Mysterio showcase
Wwe 2k should do something like nba2k with NBA eras. Put you in a universe based on your favorite era and let you live out the career of your favorite wrestler from the time. Their stories are already written so cutscenes and storylines shouldn’t be to difficult. Imagine reliving the whole attitude era as Stone Cold or the Rock..Hell even if you wanna be the Dudley’s or Hardyz in the tag team division, that would be 🔥too. Just a thought though.
