@@markproctor3100 Obviously she'd have to run again, I based what I put on an interview with her.
What a loss to Parliament this lady will be ,her constituents must be in tears 😭 . As for Dowden ,the incompetent ,corrupt lying FASCIST he will not be missed .
Another Englishman that feels Mhairi spoke for me more than almost any other MP in years. We need more of her, not less.
Funny how the pm said yesterday (?) that he didn’t present the nhs recruitment plans to the house as it wasn’t their plans, but the NHS’s.
Also the deputy saying “did you not hear what we are doing?” - if only they followed protocol and presented it to the house correctly for them to listen!
Strong sense that they really believe they can do what they want with no consequences.
Mhairi is a legend just class 👍
I shall miss hearing and seeing Mhairi, amongst the brilliant SNP politicians she is at the top.
Mhairi Black could do a lot worse than to stand for leader of the SNP at the next opportunity. I'm sure she would win hands down which would be a great thing for Scotland she is fantastic. She will be missed in the Westminster meatgrinder as she stands out as one of the few who actually earn their pay. I'm fairly sure the Tories wont be sad to see her go after all she does a great job of holding them to account and speaking truth to corrupt power.
My one hope is that this is her plan, to stand as an msp and then be our fm. Now that wld have me hope.
@@abitmorerational It has embraced social democracy though in a rejection of neoliberalism that places it to the left of Labour, admittedly not difficult. There are many of its policies that democratic socialists in Labour could happily subscribe to.
"I'm pretty sure we'll be leaving at the same time" was cold af! 😂
Mhairi utterly owned him.
Fab speaker, not with her party but will miss her.
As a nurse once again the tory party tearing apart our NHS
If only MB had a "mike" to drop and just sit back down after that epic slam
Dont leave. Ive really enjoyed your contribution. If you do leave good luck in all you do. Well done.👍
Total and utter boss comment 👏 I would have laughed if it wasn’t so serious 🧐
gotta love Mary, she has bigger balls than anyone in the chamber, hope she comes back...
I understand why she is getting out of this toxic work environment but by damn, I'll miss her.
She's absolutely ace. I'll really miss her.
So sorry to hear she’s stepping down she a real asset to politics
Many employers are now offering private healthcare benefits as part of their package to employees. Slowly, but surely we are travelling down the US road where healthcare will be tied to your job unless we fight tooth and nail to retain and protect our NHS. I wish Mhairi all the best for the future.
God help those of us who are sick and no longer work
@@lisaglaze250 Indeed. But even these healthcare 'packages' would be very limited in what they would cover and there would be additional expenses which would have to be self-funded. The medications and services would also rocket in price as profit becomes the main impetus. I hope we don't go down that route. Time will tell.
In a lot of US health insurance “cover” the treatment they fund is limited. For example, either chemo or radiotherapy.
Nine years ago I was recovering from a second operation to remove lymph nodes after it was discovered that breast cancer had spread to over half the nodes under my armpit. I then went on to have 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by 35 days of radiotherapy and then endocrine therapy for 3 years. All on the NHS.
Long and the short of it, I was finally discharged from Oncology last week. The cancer has not returned.
I strongly believe that the amazing care I received from our brilliant NHS saved my life. I am not alone.
@@annabelcleare138 I'm so glad you managed to recover and hope that you have a healthy, cancer-free future. You're so right about the US health insurance packages too. I often get the impression that they also overcharge considerably for the services, equipment and medication that they do offer their policy holders as well. Could be wrong but I suspect not. All the best to you.
@@musicloverlondon6070 thank you 🙂
Brilliant.
As we've seen with so many other funding adventures, it's not what they put in, it's where it ends up.....I will miss Mhairi Black as she is that rarity in the House - honest and concentrated on trying to do right by the people who voted her in, despite systemic barricades to that notion. Much love and respect to her.
"we'll be leaving at the same time!" 😂😂😂💥
She will be missed
@@abitmorerational You want her to split the left leaning votes, cool, sounds like a great plan.
@@abitmorerational Sure dude, sure, have a great day.
@@abitmorerational Oh, I do, just not ones I don't think you would ever agree with so it would be pointless going any further with you.
Have a nice day
I remember when PMQs used to be productive and beneficial to the country.
Oof you're going back some time there
When was this??

Very saddened to hear that she is leaving. What a loss.
Moment of the year for parliament.
Kicked out at the election.
