I met Pia Zadora when I was still working my Survivall Job at Beverly Hills Luggage before I was able to work full time in the entertainment industry. That was in the early 2000s and it was very cool meeting Pia who was a big boyhood infatuation of mine! She was very sweet and still very beautiful..

If you remember Jackson 5's hit, "I'll Be There," both Michael and Jermaine are singing the two leads. It's a perfect contrast of young Michael and older Jermaine's voice on that song.
A song from my youth, long long time ago - I haven't heard it since then but remember that I liked it a lot. Nice to hear it again and I still think it's a great disco song. The Jacksons had a comeback at that time with their albums Triumph and Victory. Pia Zadora was a child stage actress back in the 60s.
I loved this song when it came out back in ..well, feels like another lifetime. And I never forgot about this one. I have it on my various playlists every now and then.
I haven't heard this song in ages. There are better Jermaine Jackson songs to listen to: "Let's Get Serious," "Do What You Do," and a duet with Whitney Houston, "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful." He was the first Jackson brother to leave the Jackson 5 for a solo career.

Yes, he's from The Jackson 5, he's the bassist & 2nd lead. Y'all reacted to DEVO awhile back. Jermaine and a couple of DEVO members did a collabo called "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy". @@michaelmartin1714 You're right, and I have the USA For Africa album, lol. I was probably thinking about the "2300 Jackson Street" video, but LaToya is not in that one. Marlon is on the song, but not in the video either.

This was a song we had lyrics for in our school books. It was all about music and the. Excitement was listening to the radio and jotting down the words on whatever you had at hand. I love this song.
This is one of my favorite songs from the 80s! The video was as classic as the melody. A video that I must have seen a million times. This cool, futuristic and dystopian side, with gangs, motorcycles, ruins and cool clothes was really fashionable in the 80s. Probably a derivative of the cold war between the USA and the USSR, very present in our minds at the time. The Jacksons had some really cool songs between 83 and 85, songs that could have played in horror movies but cool horror a la Fright Night or Lost Boys (Thriller, Beat It, Torture, Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming, Dynamite, Eaten Alive with Diana Ross and the Bee Gees, Night Time Lover with Latoya, When The Rain Begins To Fall, etc...).
You should react to the Jacksons music atter they started growing up in the 70's. They were the Jackson 5 until Jermaine went solo, then they became The Jacksons. Some songs to check out: Shake Your Body to the Ground, Show You the Way to Go, Can You Feel It, Torture (video choreographed by Paula Abdul, her 1st one). Jay will love the baselines.
Yes, Jermaine is Michael's brother This was a huuuge hit in 1984 when I was 17...time flies.. I loved listen to it with my walkman on my way to school Great times 👍 I still love that song
Oh, y'all should react to Jermaine LET'S GET SERIOUS DYNAMITE YOU LIKE ME DON'T YOU ( I think with a harmonica solo by Stevie Wonder) & his duet with Michael TELL ME I'M NOT DREAMING.

Yes Jermaine is Michael’s brother, I always thought he had the better voice. He actually had a few hits in the 80’s, “ Do what you do” comes to mind. This is such a fun, high energy song. Love it.
1:46 - The names of the Jackson 5 are Jackie, Marlon, Tito, Michael, and Jermaine. Randy came in later to join the group, and then they just started calling themselves The Jacksons (since Randy made it more than 5).
They actually started calling themselves The Jacksons because Motown own the name Jackson 5. Jermaine stayed at Motown when the others left. Randy just replaced Jermaine. Even though Randy was part of the group way back in 74-75, he was not contracted with Motown.
Great song reaction! Jermaine Jackson had quite a few hits (My two favorites are this one & "Dynamite" (Highly recommend this one.). Pia Zadora always had that cute look & at one time I had a crush on her. She also had a solo hit called "The Clapping Song" (Amber, you will definitely recognize this one.).
I think they need to watch some Jackson 5. Especially videos that are live when the brothers are introduced. I'm sure they know a lot of Michael Jackson songs, as well as Janet, but they probably don't know much of the songs that got them all their starts within the Jackson 5. Besides some of us older folk would love to hear it again, and see their reaction to it. Especially their song Dancing Machine.
Young people don't know the names of the Jackson 5. Now I feel old. I've gone decades without the name "Pia Zadora" in my brain. Now it's probably going to be like that blasted Kars 4 Kids song.
Here is a list of all the jackson brothers Jackie Jackson Active: 1962-1990, 2001, 2012-present Instruments: lead vocals, tambourine, keyboards, percussion Tito Jackson Active: 1962-1990, 2001, 2012-present Instruments: vocals, lead guitar, synthesizer Jermaine Jackson Active: 1962-1975, 1983-1990, 2001, 2012-present lead vocals, bass guitar Marlon Jackson Active: 1964-1985, 2001, 2012-present Instruments: vocals, conga, tambourine, synthesizer, saxophone, timpani, percussion Michael Jackson Active: 1964-1984, 2001lead vocals, conga, tambourine, drums, guitar, piano, keyboards, percussion Randy Jackson Active: 1972-1989, 2001Instruments: vocals, piano, keyboards, percussion, conga Ps then there's three sisters Janet, Latoya and Rebbie Also the girl in the video Pia Zadora is child actress who started acting in 1964 in the now cheesy cult classic film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, you should do a movie reaction on this movie
But to be fair, Amber and the girls did a J5 song when Jordan wasn't there. But that was it. Jordan needs to experience them in the hey day as the Jackson 5, then as men as The Jacksons during the Victory tour. He's in for a treat.
I feel Jermaine got slept on a bit - but he has some other songs I think y'all would like better? DO WHAT YOU DO by him is a hauntingly beautiful ballad that shows of his wonderful voice. DYNAMITE is a bop! Another fun and weird song of his is ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE ANT MEN - soooooo 80s!! A great Jermaine song he wrote for the Jacksons is ONE MORE CHANCE - definitely worth a listen - Janet Jackson (his sister, wink-wink) does an angelic cover of ONE MORE CHANCE that is a hidden gem of her songs. Janet's film "POETIC JUSTIC" with 2pac would be an awesome movie to watch too! Keep smiling y'all!!
Pia got a lot of hate back in the day, but I think she has a decent voice - at least in this song. I don't remember this song, but it has a catchy 80's beat.
In the Jackson 5 Jermaine was the second youngest. Often he and Michael were the most popular amongst the female fans. Jermaine’s first wife was Hazel Gordy daughter of Motown founder Berry Gordy Jr.
The word was that Pia Zadoras millionaire husband payed her way into the music and acting (financed the movie Butterfly and 2 more movies starring Pia Z.) career. He even financed the publicited press for her films and singing tours. I still wonder how she ever was nominated for an Emmy in 1985 for Best Female Rock vocal Performance. It is an enigma to me.
Jermaine is one of Michael Jackson's elder brothers who's had a bit of success as a solo artist. Pia is an actress and singer, who has spent a lot of time performing in big Vegas shows. More by Jermaine - "Let's Get Serious" "Don't Take It Personal" "Do What You Do" "Do What You
Jay, Jermaine is part of the Jackson 5, and like Michael and Janet, he had a successful solo career. Check out his Dynamite and Let’s Get Serious. As for Pia, she first came to attention in 1981 when, following her starring role in the highly critically panned film Butterfly, she won a Golden Globe Award as New Star of the Year while simultaneously winning the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress and the Worst New Star for the same performance. She only had one top 40 hit, The Clapping Song.
Jermaine Jackson is Michael’s brother and original member of The Jackson Five , he stayed with Motown when his brothers left and joined Epic and became The Jacksons because he was married to Hazel Gordy , Barry Gordy’s daughter . Let’s Get Serious is one of his best songs
Hey guys how are you guys doing today hope you’re having a great day. Just saw the Glenn Miller band with the Nickolas brothers, song is Chattanooga Choo Choo
Pia Zadora was a big headliner entertainer in Las Vegas in the '80's. She was still doing some singing at Piero's Italian restaurant in Vegas recently. IIRC, she has an ownership interest in the restaurant.
This song is my guilty pleasure. It still gets me on the dance floor. But now I no longer do the hand movements that I did with my girlfriend back then. Another lesser known but upbeat 80s song that always puts me in a good mood is “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme” by Narada Walden. In fact, it's a duet with Patti Austin. Maybe it would be nice to have Mr. Walden on your channel for the Rob Squad and the Creators. He is a musician, singer, songwriter and producer. He was recently the drummer for Journey for a short time. He collaborated with so many artists, too many to mention.
Guys I didn't know these two recorded a song together what I remember about Pia is that she made 3 or 4 movies then later became a lounge lizard singer in Vegas Jermaine had 2 songs I remember Daddy's home and a top ten song in the early 80s Let's get serious (Stevie Wonder backup vocals) keep up the great work guys.
I'll never forget going to the theater to see the movie this song is from called "Voyage of the Rock Aliens". Pia starred in it along an actor named Craig Sheffer. Did I mention that the aliens spaceship is in the shape of a purple guitar? 😁😁
Also, as far as who the other brothers are. Tito on guitar, Randy on bongos as a kid, then multiple instruments when he took over for Jermaine. Speaking of Jermaine, he's the bass player. And other lead singer. Jackie, the oldest has the higher voice, then there's Marlon the dancer. "I am love" the full audio version is a great song to react to.
Jermaine had a lot of hit songs. My favorite is "I Think It's Love". I also love his duet with Whitney Houston called "Take Good Care Of My Heart". Another good one was "Perfect" from a Jamie Lee Curtis movie.
NEED MORE MJ reactions. Jermaine is one of Michael's siblings and was in the Jackson 5 with Michael. The Jackson 5 was Michael, Marlon, Tito, Jermaine & Michael. When the Jackson 5 left Motown in the 70's and went with Epic records Jermaine chose to remain with Motown because he was married to Barry Gordy's daughter. The Jackson 5 changed their name to the Jackson's and added Randy (their youngest sibling) into the group. Jermaine's albums were on Motown and he began a solo career of his own and the rest of the Jackson brothers did their thing. While not nearly as successful has his brother Michael as a solo artist, Jermaine made some good music. Check out the song "Dynamite". When Michael hit it huge with the album THRILLER, Michael made a last Jackson's album with his brothers, including Jermaine, called VICTORY and they went on a VICTORY TOUR that was huge at the time. One of the coolest songs from the album was a duet with MICK JAGGER called "State of Shock" and the song "Torture" was a popular tune on MTV which you should check out. So many songs by MJ to react to though.
Patty Smythe the y is pronounced eye. Patti Smith is very different. Pia Zadora was an actress and arguably the most contriversial Golden Globe winner ever. Most people couldn't understand why she was even nominated, nonetheless won.
This song is from the movie "Voyage Of The Rock Aliens" starring Pia Zadora. This video is featured in the movie. Other songs by Jermaine Jackson to check out are "Do What You Do" & "Dynamite".
Jermaine is the older brother of Janet and Michael. He was the one who stayed with Motown when the Jacksons left. Besides Michael and Janet, Jermaine had the most success as a solo performer. On the Jackson Five songs Jermaine was the second lead singer after Michael. Jermaine had a couple of hit albums but nothing on the scale of Michael and Janet. Just for your information the order of the Jackson's kids are: 1. Rebbie(1950) one hit called "Centipede" 2. Jackie (1951) no solo 3. Tito (1953) now is doing jazz music 4. Jermaine (1954) a decent solo career 5. LaToya (1956) a couple of albums were released 6. Marlon (1957) no solo 7. Brandon (1957-1957) died at birth 8. Michael (1958-2009) Huge solo career 9. Randy (1961) no solo 10. Janet (1966) huge solo career And that's all folks.😂😂😂❤❤❤
Most of what you said is true. The parts that weren't was when you sad Jackie, Randy and Marlon did not have solo recordings. Every single Jackson has hit the Billboard 100. Jackie had 2 solo albums. "Jackie Jackson" back in the 70's and his most successful "Be the one" released after the Victory tour. In the late 80's Marlon had "Baby Tonight" and Randy had "Randy and the Gypsys.
Thanks for the information. I truly didn't realize that they had solo projects as well as the rest of them. But I do recall the name Randy and the Gypsies. Thanks again.😂😂😂❤

This surprising and wonderful song has turned 40 years old and still moves my heart every time I listen to it again!80s forever!!!
Yes Jermaine is Michael’s brother, I always thought he had the better voice. He actually had a few hits in the 80’s, “ Do what you do” comes to mind. This is such a fun, high energy song. Love it.
Another great song by Jermaine Jackson is Do What You Do
How did I miss this banger??? Pia Zadora has a great voice! 😊 MJ's brother. ❤🎉
Jermaine Jackson and Whitney Houston "if you say my eyes are beautiful".
❤
This song and video was taken from a very cheesy 80's film called "Voyage of the Rock Aliens".
Jackson 5 Jackie,Tito,Jermaine,Marlon and Michael Randy, then the sisters are Rebbie,La Toya, and Janet 🥰
Number 1 hit in germany
Great song reaction! Jermaine Jackson had quite a few hits (My two favorites are this one & "Dynamite" (Highly recommend this one.). Pia Zadora always had that cute look & at one time I had a crush on her. She also had a solo hit called "The Clapping Song" (Amber, you will definitely recognize this one.).
Know both of them but never heard this before or knew they did a duet.
To this day one of the most random collabs! So ridiculously 80s and i love it!
PIa Zadora used this song and video in a silly movie she starred in called "Voyage of the Rock Aliens".
You win again by the Bee Gees
I think they need to watch some Jackson 5. Especially videos that are live when the brothers are introduced. I'm sure they know a lot of Michael Jackson songs, as well as Janet, but they probably don't know much of the songs that got them all their starts within the Jackson 5. Besides some of us older folk would love to hear it again, and see their reaction to it. Especially their song Dancing Machine.
Tell Me I'm not Dreaming LIVE!
Young people don't know the names of the Jackson 5. Now I feel old. I've gone decades without the name "Pia Zadora" in my brain. Now it's probably going to be like that blasted Kars 4 Kids song.
He is Michael's older brother. In the Jackson 5, he was the bassist and Co lead singer!
Another song that's good too is, You win again
Produced by Jack White (German Producer).
bonjour jermaine est un frère jackson, chanson mythique des années 80😉😉😉😉

Also the girl in the video Pia Zadora is child actress who started acting in 1964 in the now cheesy cult classic film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, you should do a movie reaction on this movie
Thanks so much for this in dept Jackson family history. So important, so we will never forget..
@@Lindavandergaag1968 anytime LUV the Jacksons a lot
They don't know Jermaine? This is what happens when you do six reactions to the Osmonds and none to the Jackson 5.
Boom 💥
PREACH!!!
But to be fair, Amber and the girls did a J5 song when Jordan wasn't there. But that was it. Jordan needs to experience them in the hey day as the Jackson 5, then as men as The Jacksons during the Victory tour. He's in for a treat.
I never realized they hadn't done ANY J5/Jacksons songs. A wrong that needs to be righted IMMEDIATELY. That's a rabbit hole the may never emerge from.
They don't know Jermaine... so what ?
This is a so stupid comment.
Yes, this one of Michael Jackson's (older) brother's. This song was from a 1984 movie called "Voyage of the rock aliens"
You remember that movie? I saw it at the theater! lol
This is from the great film "Voyage of the Rock Aliens" 😀
Wasn't the aliens' spaceship fabulous? lol
Indeed it was. Pia looked good in that film. A classic!!!
Marlon Jackson was the second youngest in the Jackson 5
Marlon and Randy Jackson were both younger than their brother, Jermaine Jackson.....
It was a huge hit in Europe. Absolutely CULT ❤
More by Jermaine -
"Let's Get Serious"
"Don't Take It Personal"
"Do What You Do"

Jay, Jermaine is part of the Jackson 5, and like Michael and Janet, he had a successful solo career. Check out his Dynamite and Let’s Get Serious. As for Pia, she first came to attention in 1981 when, following her starring role in the highly critically panned film Butterfly, she won a Golden Globe Award as New Star of the Year while simultaneously winning the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress and the Worst New Star for the same performance. She only had one top 40 hit, The Clapping Song.
Legendary Jermaine ❤️ Jackson of the Jackson five
Jermaine Jackson is Michael’s brother and original member of The Jackson Five , he stayed with Motown when his brothers left and joined Epic and became The Jacksons because he was married to Hazel Gordy , Barry Gordy’s daughter . Let’s Get Serious is one of his best songs
This song is frome the 1984 sci-fi movie Voyage of the Rock Aliens
Hey guys how are you guys doing today hope you’re having a great day. Just saw the Glenn Miller band with the Nickolas brothers, song is Chattanooga Choo Choo
Also check out Glenn Miller’s I’ve Got A Gal In Kalamazoo, also featuring the Nicholas Brothers.
Check out Body from the Jackson's, without Michael, and sister Rebbie Jackson's Centipede
Pia Zadora was a big headliner entertainer in Las Vegas in the '80's. She was still doing some singing at Piero's Italian restaurant in Vegas recently. IIRC, she has an ownership interest in the restaurant.
I was only 5 when this came out, but holy crap this was a banger!
A true soundtrack of the 80s.
Ayyy Jermaine!
Yes, he played the bass guitar for the Jackson Five.
One of my favorite 🎵 brilliant masterpiece 👏
I'll never forget going to the theater to see the movie this song is from called "Voyage
of the Rock Aliens". Pia starred in it along an actor named Craig Sheffer. Did I mention
that the aliens spaceship is in the shape of a purple guitar?
Jermaine's hits are.
"Let's get serious"
"Do what you do" they all have spme good music
Patty Smythe the y is pronounced eye. Patti Smith is very different. Pia Zadora was an actress and arguably the most contriversial Golden Globe winner ever. Most people couldn't understand why she was even nominated, nonetheless won.
Paid for by Rich Hubby Possibly 🤔
His best song is "Daddy's Home"
That's not his best song. That's his best song as a member of the J5.
This song is from the movie "Voyage Of The Rock Aliens" starring Pia Zadora. This video is featured in the movie. Other songs by Jermaine Jackson to check out are "Do What You Do" & "Dynamite".
WOW. My early teenage memory bank totally forgot about this quintessential 80's tune, with such synth grooves, my goodness.
Just for your information the order of the Jackson's kids are:
1. Rebbie(1950) one hit called "Centipede"
2. Jackie (1951) no solo
3. Tito (1953) now is doing jazz music
4. Jermaine (1954) a decent solo career
5. LaToya (1956) a couple of albums were released
6. Marlon (1957) no solo
7. Brandon (1957-1957) died at birth
8. Michael (1958-2009) Huge solo career
9. Randy (1961) no solo
10. Janet (1966) huge solo career
And that's all folks.😂😂😂❤❤❤
