    I just got a June oven as a gift from my daughter. I love it. It seems to do everything. I like having the apps and recipes too.

    Cast iron is one of the most underrated kitchen items imo, it's insanely powerful in the right hands, it has many properties that are unmatched by ANYTHING and make crispy, perfect, exquisite foods if used well.
    Also lasts forever, sometimes OG simplicity is the best

      What can the cast iron cook on this better than the regular tray?

    I agree about the glass. I used a Spatty stick with paper towel to clean in between the glass. I wish they would come out with another model that you have access to the inner glass panels to clean.Overall I really enjoy this oven. Amazing how it can even do hard boiled eggs. Tried it and it works great. I could never go back to using a blah toaster oven. This does it all.

    I love my June oven. However, I purchased it on an amazing sale on Amazon. It was just luck that I happened to find it at a better price. It was also before the most recent price hike. It was still quite expensive. I am now addicted to it and would find it difficult to cook without it.

    My small handle, swiffer cleans in between the glass without issue. Roast or airfry programs with the temperature probe always make fantastic dinners.

    I doubt people are running out to spend $1000 for a toaster oven....But $200 for a Cuisinart is more acceptable --like I did :)......I have used this frequently and it does a great job...Toast, Air Fry , Bake , etc etc.....its well worth it......and the cast iron grill that comes with it is awesome .......I haven't use my outdoor grill one in a few months.....One thing I'll ask you ....that picture of the inside bothers me too on how dirty it gets...Is there a way to clean it?

    • @oZiiix
      @oZiiix ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is one of the toaster ovens that you can actually use Easy Off on. So you don't have to clean it after every use but yea I noticed his oven was really dirty.

      Smart phone and video paired with the camera to recognize food is fantastic. We use it every day.

    • @stonekarma
      @stonekarma ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Other than the software, I didn't see anything here that the Cuisinart Toaster oven doesn't do. And like the video, I never use my "real" oven for the same reasons he calls out. It is not very accurate, and it heats up the kitchen. Looks like the top Cuisinart is about $300. It has presets for several types of cooking, like Roast, Toast, Pizza, Air Fry etc. Not quite as automatic, but I'll take the extra $600- $1,000 and buy a LOT of steaks. And the biggest thing for me is the Cuisinart holds temp perfectly when compared to a regular oven.

    How do you keep the cameras functioning? Don't they get covered in spattered baked on impossible to remove crap?

    • @jims5656
      @jims5656 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Camera and oven lights are in the top behind glass, routine wet paper towel cleaning, and deep cleaning with low fume easy off is simple

    Do not buy their oven. They break every 2 years. We’ve gone through 3 replacement and now they are asking us to pay $450 w/ a 60 day warranty. They are neat while they last but they can’t repair them so instead the want you to buy a full replacement. DO NOT BUY. You have been warned.

    Nope. I don't see the advantages. And I sure as heck don't want an oven that has a camera in it and can talk to my watch! Just looks like more potential 'privacy' concerns -- like all the Google or Amazon or other devices people are bringing into their homes, that listen to their every move and respond without even being directed. What, people can't cook now without digital touchscreens and being connected to wifi, and being informed on your watch that 'your food is ready' ? And the price on this June Oven is ridiculous. I got my last toaster oven, practically brand new, at the Goodwill for $25, about 10 years ago. It still works great.
    All in all, this device makes no sense. One of the high-end air fryers -- multi-featured and oven shaped (not basket-style), for under $200 -- are a much better bang for the buck.

    • @myNEONCITY
      @myNEONCITY ปีที่แล้ว +8

      “I don’t see the advantages.” You’re trying too hard to hate on this thing. Yeah the price is ridiculous but let’s not pretend that there’s no benefits to it.

    • @abacavip6426
      @abacavip6426 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This a lot more than a toaster oven. It essentially replaces your oven and then some. It’s great if you don’t want to heat up an entire oven for smaller meals. It bakes, roasts, air fries, etc. Also, the programmed settings are wonderful bc it allows the oven to roast for a certain period, top brown, and bake all for one dish to have it come out perfectly. If you don’t appreciate the efficiency of all in one appliances then you should stick with your multiple devices from Goodwill. CNET reviews tech type items and seems that you’re not their target market…

      The camera faces down towards the food, not at the room, or outside the unit. Smart software actually recognizes food and will offer recipes to match what it sees. Salmon fillet and asparagus or other recipes in the database are tested for the cookbook and easy drop menu
