For re-scaling clips what about going to "Preferences" -> "Media" and setting the "Default Media Scaling" option to "Set to Frame Size"?

I'm constantly torn with the Go series. I'm in love with the versatility and creative options you can't get with larger cameras (even larger action cameras). But I also feel like the sensor, especially for 4K, just isn't there where I feel like it is worth nearly $500. Insta360 really is marketing it for its uniqueness and trying to get by with lesser quality, even at 4K. I'll wait for the Insta360 Go3sxs turbo lol
The go3 cameras is not about pixels, video quality, there is other cameras can do that better and you can buy in the market. The only way you can see the magic of the go3 is unsing it. At this size and the video quality you can get, is amazing. The form factor of this camera, for me, makes all other action cameras obsolete. If DJI or gopro do not make a camera like that, they will start to losing it. The insta360 now change the game, Dji and gopro alway run for pixel and frame rate 5.7k at 1000fps, the majority of people doesn't care about that, even who cares, doesn't use it so often, due file size and post production. Now versatily and fun of use is the new game.
I’m in the same camp I have to FLOOD the camera with light to get a good image and you know the turbo is coming 😂😂

the only reason I'll upgrade my insta360 go3 to the go3s is because the go3s shoot 4k in freeframe mode against 1440p of the original go3. If the go3s continue shoot at 1440p in freeframe mode or 2.7k I'll not buy it.

You Lasso all of your Insta360 go three clips, you right click, and you select set to frame size

Debating the upgrade as well. The footage they're showing from the 3s looks pretty nice though. There is an option to just buy the camera and not the "action pod"...hmmm...

As far as the upscaling, yeah, I am still using iMovie and it upscales automatically. I think the GO3S is way, way, way better than the GO2 and the $100 upgrade cost is going to be worth the cost.

I've been working with the Insta360 Support Team for the last 50 days and they are exchanging my GO2 for a GO3. Hooray for new camera gear. Nice vlog, Jon, and great job keeping up your running 🏃♂
