As the farmer-driven association for the grains industry, GGC advocates for the federal government to take decisions that support the competitiveness and profitability of grain growers across Canada.

What an excellent summary of grain farming in Canada! I really love the philosophy of growing the best, highest quality, safest food possible in a sustainable way as a market differentiator. You may be able to buy it cheaper elsewhere but you can't buy better...anywhere. I also was inspired by the comment "We do what we have to do to feed the world." There's a good reason to get out of bed in the morning! Well done!

Not bad, not bad at all. It will need a more in depth presentation to convince most people about the truthful facts and certainly details regarding GMO's and using chemicals to get them to start respecting Canadian Farmers again but this is a beginning. My ancestors farmed in five Canadian provinces and some cousins still do on Farms over 120 years old. I helped out one summer and it changed my life. Even a mandatory one month experience living on a farm would so beneficial for all young people. It made me understand how food is produced, what Farmers experience and made myself more peaceful with a deep connection with the land and life.
