I've done this quite a few times, isn't perfect but works decent enough especially if you don't have a dedicated smoker. One thing I've found that helps is to pre burn the wood for a few mins, let cool, wrap in foil tray, add just a tiny bit of water and place over the flame. Smokes up A LOT.....
It’s easier to buy a smoker box and place the wood pellets in there. I tried this and it works sometimes. The smoker is cheap and works 100% of the time
We usually turn off all of the burners except one on either the far right or far left. We use this one burner to control temp. The water will also help moderate the temp as it boils at 212F. Thanks for watching.

We actually bought one. Want to show people what you can do on a budget. Thank for the feedback 💥💥
That'll even work with small table top gas grills. I use a little smoke box that just fits under the grill at the end of a cook
Awesome we actually just got a smoke box and we are excited to tryout. Thanks so much 🔥🔥
my brother and i were just talking about doing this with the gas grill at our mama’s house.
Get that smoke rolling 💥💥

Smoke tube works for me
Love it 😊
Should the wood chips be wet?
We do not recommend soaking woods chips or wood chunks prior to use. Hope this helps.
@@bluffcitygrubi agree.......i just want to smoke my meat rather than steam it.
How to keep temp around 225-250 ?

Thanks for the video friend. Happy 4th of July!
Hank? Is that you?
The answer is you don't. Use a smoker with charcoal and wood like a real man
Don't forget the easy bake pellet grill. Do those guys count as real men? Asking for a friend...
