- Welcome to Los Santos. The year is 1990 and you've just joined the ranks. You're forced into a car with no air conditioning and no window winder. By that time your radio is already out of charge, and it's gonna stay that way for two hours. Off you go to spend the next shift patrolling the most unpleasant areas of the city with your partner but at least you got to play cop for real this time, undertrained, underequipped and with next to 0 oversight.

i love the addition of the davis police, as compton had a PD until 2000, and the ending just seems so sad, all the retro cars, dirty and damaged roting away in a park
what was under LASD back in days then?
Not really sure about the Impaler SZ being there, though, if i'm not mistaken, LAPD retired their last Caprices in 2006.
The references and all are crazy in this. All the way from the recognizable departments such as the merged MTA cruisers, beverly hills livery, venice beach blue police trucks with all the correct lightning
The recreation of LA riots pictures such as the safety police caprice to even the piper tech boneyard in the end with the new gen crown vic driving by in the back marking the end of the 80s - 90s era

I just went back n binged all of your videos and now I’m in love with your presentation style. From the music to the shots and animations to the transitions and backgrounds, it’s so awesome yet oh so very Los Santos.
Los Angeles in the 1990s minus the riots we're definitely a both cool and dangerous time. Now days you can see both the city, county, and state bleed money as it's overburdened and worse now than it was in the 1990s.

Actually such a good video. The attention to detail, the varied animations, the choice of music, and especially the cars themselves are excellent. The ending shot of all the cars in the pack rotting away in a surplus lot in 2000s Los Santos while a modern Stanier LE Cruiser pays no attention was also a great way to top it off.
I had been looking forward to something being done with the new cop cars from Bottom-Dollar Bounties, to improve the lights and liveries Rockstar pasted on them and correct all the weird liberties they went with. But a pack of this caliber? This might've singlehandedly brought me back to modding GTA V.

This really is a cool mod but if you want to make it a bit more accurate, try chaging the livery on the LS metro to the one with blue stripes, and if possible change the model entirely to a P865, but if it takes place in the late 90s, the current model and liveries are just fine, for the buses use the old RTD livery with the orange stripes. You could also add World cup advertisements and banners since LA, more specifically pasadena did host games there. If possible, get rid of the Mile high club construction site completely, since construction on its real life counter part didnt start until late 2005. These are all just my thoughts on it but otherwise this mod looks really sick.

It’s kind of funny because everyone makes these terrific mods of retro cars, and now rockstar has been sort of answering us. In GTA online they have caprices, dodge Monacos, and Fox Body Mustangs. Even with that said, I really still want a new gta to be set back in time!!!
