    The gloss was incredible after applying Ultra. On newer paints I have been using the yellow Rupes pad as my first option. Sometimes I have to change it up but when they work the gloss is impressive. Smart move coating the interior as I think this is equally as important as protecting the paint. Thank you for the video and congratulations to the owner of this beautiful truck.

    Small break in period for those Rupes Pads, once those foam cells open up the pads are fabulous 👌

      I purchased a new 5” Rupes DA last summer and made the switch to their matched system. The yellow pads and polish are the work horse of the system, but I agree, they deliver a good result and also have much needed durability.

    Very nice! I have a similar type cover on my truck and was curious about coating it. I'll have to try a little test spot. Thanks for sharing that part, I hadn't seen anything on them. I do believe 303 makes a spray protectant for them.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah sometimes the solid bed covers are a painted textured metal and the coatings don’t apply well on those because of the texture. So a spray protectant like 303 is usually best.

    Nice job Phil! Always good work and amazing results. Quick question in your experience what are differences between Dr. Beasley's NSP 45/95 to carpro essence? Have seen in your old videos you did used to use carpro essence but seems from atleast newer videos you have steered away from it to prefer this Dr. Beasley's product just curious. Thank you for awesome videos and advice they do sure help.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Thanks. Great question. So the Dr Beasley's NSP polishes can be used and ceramic coated over immediately. The Carpro Essence polish is great stuff also but you have to wait 24 hours before you can apply their ceramic coating on it. I think our profession for work with any ceramic coating but I haven't tested it to make sure.

    What’s the difference between the McKees floor mat stuff you used and other stuff like 303?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The McKees didn’t really restore anything. It cleaned well though. The trim shine or 303 protectant we used actually dresses it up. But we have to wipe it down really well to remove any slipperiness.

I even replaced the crap grease with quality grease and lined the interior of the body with dynamat. If the newer is better I might upgrade. Even though I only do my truck and my wife's SUV so not alot of use I would rather have something more comfortable

      @chrissemsch8781 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MirandaDetailing ya, that’s what I do/done. But,,,,,,,,, here’s the conundrum, do I coat the plastics first or the carpet/fabric seats first? The fabric/carpet guard is solvent based and solvents will take off water based plastic/vinyl protectants. So now I’ve sprayed the carpet/fabric guard first then let the solvent based guard dry off(which happens fairly quickly because it’s a solvent) and then put the plastic or leather conditioner on.
      I would like to get/try a pump sprayer with a fan sprayer nozzle (similar to what you use when you spray apc pre rinse on the outside body) I think that will eliminate/reduce the overspray.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
