Is there another full-blown, modern PLC platform that supports CNC motion controlled? It seems like it's only Beckhoff? Most CNC platforms manage memory like the old school PLCs do. They don't have memory with user defined tags and structures. This seems potentially way more advanced than anything Fanuc or Siemens offer.

There are others... Yaskawa has one but it's not great. B&R makes a powerful one but it's not that easy to use. Fanuc is garbage. I've heard Siemens is good but I've not used it.

@@SquishyBrained Fanuc is like Toyota ,everyone has it and doesn't break often I have seen folks running 30 years old Fanuc

I know how install the Cnc software for t2,but for t3, if also need install a cnc software and which ?

Tc3 installer installs the CNC system.

SquishyBrained I already find the error why , TwinCAT2 based cnc project cannot directly move to T3 ,but how many changes must be done I do not know .no document said this!
