Hey, I am currently also working with TwinCat and noticed that my axis velocity oscillates a lot from simulated axis, what could be the cause of that? I have all simulated axis setting set as the standard values
Which software have the post processor available for exporting to the machine ? (e.g. MasterCAM, Fusion360, etc.) 3D machining and complex machining features exist ? (threading, tool changer, 5 axis machining) 3D live toolpath display can be done ? Hardware specs need to be high ? (e.g. i7) What is the cost related when comparing with similar controller (Centroid, SmoothStepper, etc.)/hardware (IPC vs PLC or proprietary motion controller) needed ? Beckhoff CNC utilizes the standard IEC66025 G programming. So most CAM software can support Post-Processor for Beckhoff CNC. As far I know, MasterCAM, IGEMS etc. Beckhoff CNC supports a lot of complex machining features including threading, 5 axes KineTrafo, Laser Cutting etc. 3D live toolpath is integrated in Beckhoff CNC HMI as well. Reagrding hardware, since Beckhoff CNC is PC-Based platform. you can run Beckhoff CNC from Celeron CPU like Beckhoff CX51xx or CX2000 and C69xx.
