      Dhyananda Sadhu know that these people, while they do immoral things and cause suffering, it is out of ignorance. Ignorance of the Self within them. Ignorant that that Self is the same Self in everyone and everything else. Those people go home and have families and love is shared between them, it’s just cultural differences that are rooted in ignorance that make them to immoral things. Knowledge destroys ignorance. Immorality’s root is ignorance.

    • @robertgomez7209
      @robertgomez7209 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Dhyananda Sadhu also know that while we should show live and compassion for the ignorant who do vile things, it does not mean that we should stand by and do nothing about it. Sri Krishna instructs Arjuna to do battle as it is his duty to do so. To fight against evil is to uphold righteousness and dharma in the world. It is noble.

    Ive listened to Kirshna Das since 2017 when i found him having never listened to anything like that music but i fell in love, would cry and cry over music which i knew none of the words to. Then sometime in 2021 i first heard of Ram Das but was for some reason turned off by him and never able to listen to him speak for more than a few minutes. Then the last few months i came across Ram Das again and have been listening non stop, and now today i find this, Krishna Das and Ram Das know each other and are friends and guru brothers. "Love has nothing with somebody else, it's your state of being" Osho - So the work is not to love somebody outside, but inside. Look to everything of yourself that you think is ugly or painful. By looking with all your awareness it's solves. Look at it until there is only love for that part. By resolving every negativity in yourself that way, you start to love yourself completely and then you become love. At that moment there is as an effect love for everything and everybody in a natural and effortless way. It's stated in the bible "Love your neighbor as your self". If you don't love yourself, it's impossible. The religions people try the other way around, because the leaders don't love them self ( ego love is not love). Trying love others before first loving yourself is hypocrite. Baba Ram Dass is right. "Become love".

I had a skype call wit Ram Dass and asked him about it, I said " I cry at strange times when its not an emotional thing, whats that about?" and he said " its energy, like an influx of energy coming into you, or a shift of your consciousness where more energy is coming in can cause the crying".... so maybe that helps to understand it...

    Watched this video again. At around 35.30, the way he explains how his experience with Indian families changed his perception of love. They were allowed to scream and yell and express themselves, but they were still loved. I'm sure not all families in India are like that, but I'm glad he had that experience. It should be like that everywhere. If one has psychopathic parents, the only thing allowed is saying YES. Anything else will be punished. Sigh. Maybe next life I get good enough parents. Thank you for this video. So beautiful, so comforting.

      Regardless of identifications, yes. I'd also like to add that it is very liberating to see the frames in which identifications hold and thus removing yourself from these frames. A "atheist" is a "certain person" or have "certain qualities" or a specific belief etc. All of this is just made-up desiccation of the reality to make us understand it better. The less of these frames, the clearer you will see the reality around us because nothing can be fully understood :)

    The real truth is so far passed what any words can describe. My best imagery I can give is this take every good,and loveing feeling you have ever had and ever will experience and put it on a sence of scale, then Imagine everything ever created in all of time and you simultaneously experience all their love with your own. Your body can only look into this and if you look completely at this with all of you than there you are.

    Stimulating and Intense
    This could be a great introduction to Ram Dass. The central theme is nothing but lovely. You need to open up and let love in where the sun doesn't shine.
    He avoids the mistake of diving straight in and banging on and on. Instead, he starts slowly, gently breaking you in by introducing some smaller ideas. The first part creates a lot of anticipation and leaves you with the undeniable feeling that there is a lot more to come. It may seem like a lot to take in, but don't be scared; our capacity is a lot more than you might imagine. You might feel resistance at the beginning but he makes an effort to reach around and put his finger on the things that matter.
    It's not easy to get into at first, but when you make a little headway it's well worth the extra effort. Just after the introduction, you realise you're either going to love it or hate it. It's just the right amount of hard content without forgetting to include other stimulating areas in this body of work, and this is how he manages to work in a lot more via the back door.
    Don't be fooled by the small size of this offering. Once he gets started, he manages to squeeze an eye-watering amount into such a little space, and when he picks up the pace, he effortlessly drives home the message like a well-oiled machine.
    I introduced my girlfriend to this and she told me she found it a bit hard to take. She might not have been particularly satisfied by the experience, but I found it jolly intense. For me, it was also hard going at first but I did get to the bottom of it. Personally, I enjoy going more in-depth. I'm going to insist on us practising together more. I've seen a lot of folks on the internet really get into it, so I know a lot can come from it.
    It's not easy but you should have a good crack at it. It will leave you rooting for more.

    I am one of the lucky persons who has seen him from close quarters. I have driven him and suddenly told to drop him by the road side and go home. Once a highly British university qualified lady who who made her father - in - law to shift out to a rented accommodation from her husband owned house gate crashed when he was at our house She asked Baba to tell my father that he should be performing pujas to earn 'punyas' and pray at temples to better his life hereafter. Baba who had never met or heard of her replied " He need not do any one of those things since he is performing the ultimate Puja of 'doing his father's 'seva' " He never met that lady again. It was her first and last meeting though she tried several times.

    I see many in the West hopping on the bandwagon of spirituality in search of God. I returned to India after 22 years in USA and am sad to find Indians (most of them at least) steeped in material pursuits.

    • @dattagrace
      @dattagrace 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is rather sad. I have seen more genuine seeking, greater intellectual capacity and genuine curiosity towards spiritual growth in western seekers. Back in India, these are rare.

    • @amandaponder1251
      @amandaponder1251 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sridhar Kaushik & not only material pursuit .. but in pursuit of western culture & stuff .. & thinking the west is great... if we Indians don’t know how to value our own culture.. how can we lean into spirituality!!!

    • @seshmandalika7967
      @seshmandalika7967 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's cyclical. Don't be disheartened. India and Indians are very spiritual. It will all come back. Even today India produces great spiritual masters on a regular frequency. These masters are revered world over.
