It's the second we see Wrecker flipping down his helmet and take firing position, supporting his sergeant over his favourite brother - he couldn't have acted differently, but that's when we *feel* the rift within the squad is final. 😢
And I just *love* how the first few chimes of Crosshair's theme accompany his arrival. Slow, minor key, it gives way to parts of his theme major, but the music here and during the subsequent shoot-out is kept surprisingly *not* dramatic for that kind of scene. It sets the tone as one of sadness rather than anger. He didn't really chose this. And now they've lost him.

Hunter: "We didn't have a choice."
    Crosshair: "Hm... and i did?"

The funny part is Omega got the best of Crosshairs and didn’t know what to do that one.🤣😂Now he has a lot of respect for her and knows her can hold her own🤗 she’s his ride or die partner now 😂

imagine that he doesn't redeem himself until the end of the series. And Tech is still alive... Crosshair redemption arc would have been insane if he sacrificed himself to save Tech and his brothers in the last scene of the finale of the Bad Batch.- Saving his brothers as a final act might have been epic too First losing Crosshair as felt betrayed then losing him as Crosshair saves them.

I know it's just my opinion but.... I STILL think they should have kept Crosshair the villain until the end. He was a great villain man.

Oh, he sure was... (and that dark armour!). But then he was good as *anything*. And his character arc... I really liked the cynical, arrogant instigator of trouble (perferably of the violent variety) he was pre-chip activation, I love how his growing doubts are depicted throughout S2 (culminating w TheOutpost ofc), and him in late S2 - his "do your worst"-attitude twd Hemlock etc - is very much underrated.

Crosshair was purposely letting them escape
