Exactly. Took years for me to get myself back together. I was molested very young. I grew up in a physically and verbally abusive household. I got raped my first year of college. I got pregnant, contracted herpes and had an abortion. 9 years later, I've applied to go back to school, I've worked a full time job with no degree making $80K+/yr and I have healthy relationships with my parents and the people in my life. It took lots of therapy, medication, blood, sweat and tears. We all heal differently, you're right. Looking back, I've gone through so many things in between that it did break me a bit. But, I haven't given up that's what matters.

it just means youre sheltered and havent seen much of the world. in many cultures face tattoos are dying out because only elders have them and young people face discrimination for having cultural or tribal face tattoos so there's a decline in them for those populations. for cultures where face tattoos aren't tribal or traditional, it's the opposite effect in which young people have started to get them to express themselves. there are still old ass people in nursing homes with face tattoos and no criminal record. so maybe u just have to visit a nursing home
