Life never stays the same, no matter how much we want them too. In 2023 I realized I couldn't travel very far for Home Free concerts or anything else. That is very hard for me to accept. I now have my 9th great-great grandchild, born 1/27/24. So, I totally understand desiring to spend time with family and being at home. Time that you don't have with family is very hard. That hit me like a ton of bricks when my sons passed. As I had worked full time for 55 years. I missed alot of stuff concerning the kids. Regrets are very hard to accept. I do pray that everything goes beyond your wildest imagine for your future. You can always know that as long as I have a mind, I will remain your prayer warrior grandma. That assignment has not changed. Many blessings and much love.

It's great that you are carefully making plans for your future. My father worked away for most of my childhood and it was horrible. However, Home Free will struggle to find anotner gorgeous, charismatic, gifted high tenor to replace you - you are unique. God bless you both.

I never stayed home until I had children. Then I was always there. I was 36 when I had them. I am 83 and can't sing anymore but I try. I was a second alto in every choir in glee club, all city junior choir, symphonic singers. You two are good together.

There have been groups that have come together and produced magic in their music. Fleetwood Mac, The Mamas and the Papas, Early Bruce Springsteen, where the combination of talent has been more than the sum of the parts. Home Free is one of those magical combinations of voices and talent where 1+1+1+1+1 has equaled way more than 5. There can be no way that the band will be the same. I don't doubt they will be great and with your talent , I have no doubt you will have major success in whatever you do. I truly enjoyed all Home Free's music and appreciate the level of hard work and sacrifice it takes to do what you have done. I am praying for more magic for the band and for you in the future and look forward to hearing more fantastic music from both you and the new Home Free.
Change is hard, but sometimes you have to do what makes the most sense for you. When God closes a door He opens a window. We need to be prepared for the moment. We are fans but you need to do what you need to do. I had a point in my life where I had no home to come home to. It was for work too. I embraced it as I knew it wouldn’t last forever. I was asleep when the live stream was on (Netherlands). But to be honest, I saw this coming because of a certain feeling when I saw your videos especially of your house. Of course I would have preferred it differently, but I understand you. This decision will be difficult for you both, but you must listen to your heart. And how wonderful is it that you have made your house not just a place to stay, but a home💖. That is a very important point in your life. And yes, sometimes it is just necessary to take a different path. I will continue to follow you, just because you say it will be different genres. I am especially curious about the Gospel. 😉 As long as it comes from the heart and is made with pleasure, it should be fine. But I will also forever be a Home Fry. Home Free is the group that helped me through difficult times. Sometimes with tears of sadness and other times with tears of laughter, etc. I hope you will collaborate with them or one of the members again someday. I am an indie artist. I just put my first few songs out. You and the entire Home Free group are one of my largest inspirations and probably the reason I got up the nerve to post my pieces. I am very sad you are leaving Home Free, but I support you in whatever journey you take. I'm excited for the new member, and if Home Free picks a girl, I would recommend Montana Taylor (another indie artist I'm a fan of) if she's interested.

There have been groups that have come together and produced magic in their music. Fleetwood Mac, The Mamas and the Papas, Early Bruce Springsteen, where the combination of talent has been more than the sum of the parts. Home Free is one of those magical combinations of voices and talent where 1+1+1+1+1 has equaled way more than 5. There can be no way that the band will be the same. I don't doubt they will be great and with your talent , I have no doubt you will have major success in whatever you do. I truly enjoyed all Home Free's music and appreciate the level of hard work and sacrifice it takes to do what you have done. I am praying for more magic for the band and for you in the future and look forward to hearing more fantastic music from both you and the new Home Free.
Change is hard, but sometimes you have to do what makes the most sense for you. When God closes a door He opens a window. We need to be prepared for the moment. We are fans but you need to do what you need to do. I had a point in my life where I had no home to come home to. It was for work too. I embraced it as I knew it wouldn’t last forever. I was asleep when the live stream was on (Netherlands).
But to be honest, I saw this coming because of a certain feeling when I saw your videos especially of your house. Of course I would have preferred it differently, but I understand you. This decision will be difficult for you both, but you must listen to your heart. And how wonderful is it that you have made your house not just a place to stay, but a home💖. That is a very important point in your life. And yes, sometimes it is just necessary to take a different path. I will continue to follow you, just because you say it will be different genres. I am especially curious about the Gospel. 😉 As long as it comes from the heart and is made with pleasure, it should be fine.
But I will also forever be a Home Fry. Home Free is the group that helped me through difficult times. Sometimes with tears of sadness and other times with tears of laughter, etc. I hope you will collaborate with them or one of the members again someday. Especially a collaboration like "Nessun Dorma" with Rob. 🥰
But there are still a few months to go, so that will be some extra enjoyment.

(Filmed in November, so you can have that private family Christmas you dream of). Speaking of rescues and sanctuaries, I support Horse Plus Humane Society of TN. (a great non-profit, saving equines from the slaughter pipeline).

I made a similar decision many years ago, to let music accompany my life, not have my life accompany my music. You’ve given the world so much of your time, your talent, and your life. Thank you for that. I know you will find the perfect way to use your exceptional talents while living a fulfilling, personally satisfying life. Perhaps a new album, “Songs to fish by!”?? I’m honestly heartbroken. I absolutely LOVE your contribution to Home Free. However, I do love your solo stuff as well, and the songs you do with Tim! You have a true gift! I know you’ll use it in the future so I’m with you! You’ll do terrific! Please continue to do amazing things with Home Free as well. One of my favorite songs is “What Child is This?” with all the Home Free members. You can really rock things like Motown, the Temptations, etc! You can do Anything!!!!
