No, I wasn't there, I just saw this for the first time that I remember yesterday. From the film I watched, this was his second attempt that day. The first pass looked identical to this one, except no crash. It appears that the crash was all part of the show, you can see the pyrotechnics in the hay bales explode right before his impact with the cardboard boxes. Eddie was a bad dude!!

That is Eddie Kidd alright crazy crash shame has given up a long tine ago since that year of the accident happened 11 years before my birth time on earth began.

Fun (i know, wrong word) to see a lot of professional stuntmen around, giving him a hand and/or helping him. From the beginning i thought Eddie Kidd was just a daredevil....

That’s the difference between Eddie and Evel. Eddie joined the Equity Stunt Register and worked on many TV and films over the years. He started as a daredevil and became a stuntman.

I thought that was Greg Powell. I was lucky to work with him on the first Lord of the Rings movie :)
