Your dupes are prettier and look more high end. I also prefer unique decor -many TH-camrs seem to have the same items! Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your content.
I love the candle and think I shouldn't have left that ugly ceramic green and red cookie ornament at the thrift store yesterday 😂 I might go back today to see if it's still there after seeing what you did with yours😊
My favorites are the ornament candle, which I think came out even better than the Pottery Barn one and the gold hydrangeas. I have a bunch of artificial ones that I am going to spray paint Rose Gold.
Hmm, the only draw back that I can see is that then none of the hot glue would be covered. Not sure which way would work best. It's a thought. I'll have to try it that way too and then let ya'll know. Thanks 😊
You always beautiful work! I think you are a master duper! 😅 In case you didn’t know, if there’s something you don’t want to get paint on you can put Vaseline on the area and after it’s painted and dry you can just wipe the Vaseline off. Love everything today. 🤍❤️💚
I love all these Pottery Barn dupes, but what you are leaving out in your tutorial is the cost of all the different supplies you have to buy to create the look. Calculating the cost of the five different kinds of paints and the brushes and the wax and the wick, you've put the actual cost of the candle probably higher than if you just bought it at Pottery Barn. Plus you have to consider the price of your time to for to the three different thrift stores and the painting the different coats letting them dry in between.
You're correct that I don't include the price of paint I already have on hand. Nor do I include basic supplies that I already own and are found in most DIY craft rooms. Although, I do try and mention whenever I'm using supplies I already have on hand. As for the time it takes. Drying time to me isn't active time. Active time spent was about 45 minutes. Hope that helps!
lol I love this. Hubby is always saying, "Too bad there wasn't a hand held device with all the knowledge in the world." He would totally give you a thumbs up. Thanks!
I don't understand why burning a beautiful 3D themed shaped candle Lossing the shape and images and details really burning money the melted wax has never made sense to me

Awesome! Love this. And yeah, I think the candle is my fav too. Thanks
Maybe paint the stem of the card holder first before gluing it to the little tree?

$4 for the original ornament but you applied at least 5 different types paint 🎨 plus glue sticks plus brushes not a cheap DYI at all .
