Damn that engine sounds nice. I have a line on a 921 I am thinking about. Been waiting for u to get this on the road - very nice job - hope u do another walkaround vid now u have windows :)
Thanks for your comment. The rear wheels are Accuride 28844AIP, which are 22.5" diameter and 7.5" width. They have the modern big rig bolt pattern. The front wheels are very rare. They are Alcoa 863100, and are 22.5" diameter and 6.75" wide. These have the 6 on 8.75" bolt pattern that my front axle has. These wheels were OEM on some motor homes in the early 90's, and maybe other applications.
Very nice old truck!! Can you educate me on the RTO6610 trans you have in this truck? How many speeds does have ? Do you know about what it weighs? I'm restoring a 1967 Dodge D300 I have several 6V53's laying around I would like use one in my truck . I need a good idea for a transmission. I was thinking about a 7 speed Spicer but don't like the way they shift. I can run air on problem . Any info would be appreciated thanks
Wonderful looking truck tell me about the transmission adapter I have a 453 and I'm trying to figure out what tranny I want to use seems like everything needs an adapter
I installed a SAE #2 flywheel housing on my engine. The clutch housing on my transmission is also SAE #2, so they bolt right up to each other. I knew what I wanted to do from the start, so I found the SAE #2 gear that matched when building the engine and transmission. I believe SAE #1 was also possible on these engines.
Music to my eyes, my old farmer neighbor would say. LOL
That 4-53 sure sounds good. Nice pipes, just the right amount of smoke. A very nice job Sir. 😊
Sounds just like my 4-53t ☺ Nice Job!!
Sounds great i could listen to it all day👍👌
Just awesome! What more can somebody say? 👍👍👍
Wonderful! You can tell when a 53 series is right by that thrum thrum harmonic!
Sure sounds nice, I'm a year away from starting on my Diamond T 509.:)
Something tells me you'll get yours done a lot faster than I did. I'm almost 10 years into this project! Sure is nice to finally hear it sing.

Thanks! Yes... I'll do a better video with some details on the build. Thanks for following along 👍
Detroit four banger sounds rad
Sounds familiar! Good work!
I like the sound with resonator. Sounds strong and tight
Most Excellent Sir!!
Very cool. I have a 1956 GMC 2 ton truck I’m working on putting a 6V-53 with 10 speed in. It will be cool. But not as cool as that Diamond T
I'll be looking forward to seeing that build! 👍
Hi Sir, what are the make and model of you dual alloy rims, and your front rims also. Your Diamond T sounds fantastic.

Nice!!!
RTO-6610 Hard transmission to find. I’ve been looking for one
No doubt. I found this one back in 2015, and I had been looking for several months.

@@hanscustomshop that's really odd because my 453 is an SAE #4 15" center to center bolt pattern
Yours is a sae#2?
@@coreyellisart6877 Yes, mine is definitely SAE #2.
