- VW Passat B8 - mirror fold modus change. From factory mirrors fold with every locking of the car. We can change this so that mirrors will fold only with a long pres of the locking button on remote controller.

My car does not have automatic folding mirror option. Can I still fold them manually? I tried folding them but they don't move and I fear applying to much pressure
Check you owners manual ;).
Has anyone had problems folding the mirrors? the left one stopped working, I tried it manually and when I lock the car, it doesn't work. For a while it slowly folding and now it has stopped. Mirror adjustment works normally.

You will need to disassemble the mirror and check the folding mechanism. Btw.: when the mirror starts slowly folding you need to resolve the issue, not wait until it breaks completelly. At that time all it needed was maybe a little grease.
I can fold them only when long pressing lock button, but i want that they go automatically close when car is locked.
It needs to be recoded and it fold automatically... From factory they work like that.
@@MtlCarGarage thank you. I have one more problem. Today i have installed OEM electrical foldable mirrors. I can not adjust glass on the right mirror same as i can on the left one. It doesn't go enough to the left when i trying to adjust it withe the controller. It should go at least cca 0,5 cm to the left, so i could have good sight to behind my vehicle. What could be problem?

Does you mirror knob have a fold option? You should be able to fold them with mirror knob. If there is no option for folding, then your car does not have folding mirrors.
