And as a biracial woman people always look to see what kind of biracial am I "the black or the white kind" 🤔 can't yall just not cross boundaries over and over again. I say something nice about 10x and by the 11 or 21st or 30th time now I'm not as nice but certainly not aggressive. Whooow Yahusha come to my aid please

      By explaining to Tia the negative way she interacts in moments of frustration is not ganging up on Tia it’s making her aware of her actions. No one was disrespectful to Tia it was done in love. Tia has to learn how to respond in working situations as a part of the team and not the younger sister or the baby of the family. She seems a bit spoiled.

    David Jr is correct Tia is a little Tamar(ish) 😂. Because like Tamar, she's the baby. I hope she doesn't tap out of a great opportunity with her sisters just because her feelings are hurt. I can tell she feels like the family is ganging up on her right now.
    As for Tiffany, she's able to separate business (work) from family (home) life and that's an EXCELLENT trait 👏🏾. She's a professional and probably gets more done because of that.
    I just hope things calm down and Porcia, Tiffany and Tia can come back to the table and work out the kinks for their new project. Praying Tiffany and Tia work on building a better sistership.

    Tiffany is spot on. Whether a family business or corporate business, there should always be a high level of professional decorum. Additionally, being an assertive, articulate black woman does NOT equate to aggressiveness. Please normalize embracing and respecting assertive women and not mislableing them as aggressive. Thanks.

    30:09 I love the correction. Holding your loved ones accountable
    I believe the friction is due to Tia is used to the "working" world with Mom and Dad. Tiffany is used to the working world with professionals who are not family and are more firm with expectations. So Tiffany is bringing that work ethic to the family business. Tia doesn't like it because she's comfortable with how her parents allow her to work.
    This is just my opinion from watching and listening this TH-cam channel, and the TVone show
    Tia couldn't give a good reason why "everything was too much" 34:26

    Good show. I would like to say in Tia's defense, (and I'm not the baby child in my family), when you ask someone how they feel, or tell them to talk; let them. When she started talking, she was told how to say it, what to say, "you gotta say this". She was interrupted, and then the conversation moved on, but it was partly about her. Maybe that's why she shuts down. Maybe, "I don't have to explain," means you won't accept, understand, or listen to my explanation.

    People have different work styles. No one is wrong or right. Just needs to have a balance. Tiffany is a planner-into the details, Tia just wants to get the job done! So perhaps instead of having Tia at all the planning meetings, bring her in closer to execution. Tiffany just be careful that you are not making others around you feel insecure. I suspect your family might view you as the "bright "one, not that you view yourself in this way, but remember that everyone is gifted in their own way and have different work styles. You might therefore need to work a bit harder at making others feel comfortable and valued around you. Tia your sister means well, she's not trying to take over, she wants to bring the family and their craft to a higher level. Love conquers all.

      Yes we all have different work styles and work ethics. With that said. We still have to be able to communicate with our partners and teams. Sharing one's views good, bad or indifferent provides data to the group to make informed decisions towards planning and execution. If a member fail to communicate their issues. It makes it harder for the team to work effectively. Asking Tia what was the issue was valid for clarity. I disagree with you bringing her in as a closer. Doing that will not help Tia nor the team. My reason for saying this is that Tia has trouble communicating her concerns. Which is what I believe they were communicating in this show regarding Tia.

    • @ansonettpalmer4214
      @ansonettpalmer4214 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@smileonlegs1 I think she is communicating but perhaps not in the best way. She's saying enough meetings and she's disassociating. Remember communication is not only verbal. I do agree that she could try to express her feelings a bit more so that the others know how to address them. However, it is very clear from the video that Tiffany and Portia has a bit of work to do by way of their verbal communication. I find that they have very strong personalities and this might be a turn off for Tia. They want her to be an adult and communicate but they were clearly treating her in a demeaning manner. At times I felt they were speaking down to her. Also remember that Tia is used to working with Portia alone for a long time. In comes Tiffany and the dynamics have changed drastically. Tiffany should consider taking baby steps and not come out full force. No matter how good a leader you are if you can't get people to work with you then your plans will stall. Yes, Tiffany say she will listen to others ideas but the tone and body language is aaying something different. Tiffany definitely has alot to offer but approach is everything.

    Honestly Tia could just be like me, I am not a fan of too many meetings especially if it feels as if progress is not being made as fast as I expected. Also keep in mind personality traits and styles, Tiffiany and Porsha come off as talkers or opinionated individuals and Tia appears to be more reserved. Could it just be that Tia preferred being involved behind the scenes and just wanted in on the first and final meeting whereas Porsha and Tiffiany could discuss and build the vision. I know we tend to get in trouble when we don't speak up or we go into situations with assumptions but I think that is all this may have been. Tia does have to stop downplaying her feelings and being dismissive otherwise she will continue to be misunderstood. I saw myself and family dynamic in this discussion so thanks for being open!!!

She didn’t even really know what her own problem was when she was confronted.. she went over their heads and went straight to her daddy instead of properly communicating

So she naturally gives up and falls off in the conversation. Communication is so important, it's truly sad when there is a disagreement and it's never settle. Sometimes things go on for years because family didn't take the time to just come back and have a conversation. I like what Father Mann stated, sometimes just take a time out and then come back after everyone has had time to re-group their thoughts and feeling. The worst thing is for families to have a disagreement and it spill over to the next generation. God Bless each of you, thanks for just keeping it real with us. Love you guys to pieces.
