The Forerunner Ecumene was an advanced civilization which spanned the Milky Way Galaxy 100,000 years before the Halo Franchise. They were experts of astroengineering, building the halo array, the ark, the maethrillian and other megastructures. The Forerunner during ancient times fought the Flood in the Forerunner Flood War, while attempting to uphold the mantle of responsibility. The Forerunner Navy is large, comprised of powerful ships including the Mantle's Approach, and manning defensive positions like the Maginot Line. The Forerunner also used very advanced artificial intelligence.
The Star Wars Universe is large - very large. Star Wars Legends gives the galaxy billions of planets and quintillions of people. Inhabiting the galaxy is the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance, and various other factions.
for all the people who say "give star wars the celestials!" I'd say "Give the Forerunner the Halo array!"

Even ancient humans in the Halo universe where close but no cigar in finding a way to stop a flood infestation because it really is like a flood fast and consuming but it also consumes intelligence as well which is dangerous brute force numbers alone cant stop that.
Lets see, the forerunners were capable of creating stars and planets. They were such an advanced species they could replicate and therefore create life. They had technology capable of destroying all life in their galaxy and indeed, in the end, did so. And then restored all life afterward. No faction in the star wars universe was ever so powerful.

The forerunner can collapse stars, raze planets in an instant, and coordinate fleets bigger than those seen in star wars without breaking a sweat.
Star War's main advantage over other series match-ups is its sheer power output, well, that advantage goes out the window and the other direction when they go against the forerunners. It's not a matter of ships at this point, it is a matter of how individual ships function. A Keyship sat on a planet for 150,000 years, and was still in working order, Forerunner AIs alone can outmatch the processing power of half the droid in the galaxy.
I never played Halo games and so I don't know anything About this universe except the Things I learn on this channel. So I imagine the Forerunners used Shields? If yes it could very much be a Thing for one of this "Fortress" class ships to tank a direct hit or two from the Death star… Yeah, SW is fkkd XD
@@keinenbockmehr1749 their shields where pretty damn op, the human ship infinity used such shield but at a much less power then the forerunners. And it was able to ram km long ships cutting them into two and able to hold against covenant ship plasma lasers "ranked in the gigatons" and be just fine. Forerunner fortress ships where known to be some of the most durable. And they where 100km long during the flood war.

in halo wars 2, there was a mission where you had to stop the banished from getting ahold of a single despair class fighter because if they had it, they would gain the ability to drive all of your forces away from the ark and take control, with a single forerunner starfighter...... the forerunners would absolutely destroy the star wars galaxy, its not even a fight, the sheer power of the forerunners isnt even quantifiable, their megastructures reach 100'000+ km in diameter, they can suspend things inside slipspace, they can weaponize stars on demand while the star wars galaxy really only has 1 ship capable of it, theyre individual soldiers would be so powerful compared to any foot soldiers the star wars universe has to offer that theres no chance even on the ground, even with jedi, look at the didacts combat skin, he has telekinesis that is equal to if not better than the force, i imagine thats an ability inherent in a lot of warrior servant combat skins. the 2 most important massive advantages are the ai and the forerunner beam weapons though, the star wars laser weapons are laser bolts that travel far slower than even a standard bullet. the forerunner beam weapons travel at the speed of light, and sojourner class dreadnoughts have lasers capable of annihilating huge areas of the surface of a planet with a single pulse. instant destruction from far outside the engagement range of any star wars ship. ultimately the nail in the coffin for the star wars galaxy though would be the contender class ai, you just cant compete with mendicant and offensive bias, were you to leave them heavily outnumbered, i imagine they would still find a way to win and be far more efficient as commanders than even thrawn

The line of the Darktroopers would be some-what similar to the Spartans. Elite forces, mech armor, nearly impenetrable armor, each one beyond a Phase I being able to solo an army.
The Dark Trooper Inquisitorium Trooper for example was made specifically to defeat jedi and was VERY effective. Phase II Dark troopers have gatling-gun like weapons (depending on source) and have built in jetpacks, on top of their incredible armor. Phase III were basically an upgraded Phase II but with a cannon as their weapon.
Then of course there are the Dark Nova Troopers which are slightly smaller than Phase II and more form fitting and less mechanical, since they were intended for boarding actions.
In regards to the armor on all of these, it is one of the materials in the galaxy that is nearly indestructible.
Imperial Royal Guards, Shadow Guards and Royal Sovereign Protectors.
These are one of the few soldiers/units in Star Wars that would kill the Spartans.
Imagine if the foreigners could use the halo rings. It would be like throwing a grenade in a chicken coop

forerunners probably have dispossable low tier ships that are around the size of the death star of the force awakens also a spartan by himself can probably kill hundreds or even thousands of storm troopers and now a forerunner with an armor atleast 100 times better and crazy weapons its pretty safe to say that a single forerunner can single handed obliterate entire armies and fleets so when you take stuff like that into consideration i think its pretty obvious that even with star wars legends insane calculations forerunners would still be able to wipe out all star wars life with barely any loses

Spartans actually have weaker armor and weapons, as well as less numbers. Their armor is weaker in defense. Their advantages are augmented stats and armor stat augments. A spartan 2 could probably kill 1-4 basic clone troopers. Don't forget, Clones are essentially peak human+ spartans 2's with better training. They aren't as strongly augmented, but are each bred from birth for war.
@@tchoythao1730 I normally don't make comments like this but you know literally nothing about Spartan 2's. I love Star Wars and the clones are my favorite part about it but a more fair fight would be ODSTs vs. Clones. Spartan 2's are too much for any basic Star Wars infantry.

Tchoy Thao Spartans have their speed and reaction time increased by 300%, not to mention their insanely augmented strength, especially in armor, that allows them to flip tanks and even elephants. Then there’s the armor. Even MkIV augmented their strength and had a heat resistant coating to protect from Covenant plasma. Since MkV they’ve had shielding that can deal with plasma pretty well.
Saying they’re only allowed one mega structure is like telling a pro wrestler to only use one hand. It’s only because the forerunners would just win.
Now, imagine how much faster the Forerunners would win with ZERO megastructure limitations.
I didn't even realize the Forerunners were THIS powerful, but the fact that the opponent was a UNIFIED Star wars definitely piqued my interest.

I think it might be a fairer fight to choose an era when the Jedi Order were in full flight. Tens of thousands of super soldiers co-ordinating the attack stand a better chance than the era where there were four known force users (plus Ezra and Leia).
But even then, they get STOMPED.

You can resurrect every Force user who ever lived and have them stand in a unified front , it won't change a damn thing.

Debbie Bernhardt the didact would most likely not put himself in a situation where he’d be in a 1v1, even if he did I think you guys forget that most force abilities don’t even work on extra galactic entities such as the vong. The Jedi and Sith could still use it to enhance themselves and manipulate there surrounding but unless they are using lightning or creating black holes/force storms there powers will have no effect on the didact, and they won’t be able to use the force for pre cognition purposes on the didact either. The didact is incredibly powerful as well. He possesses a incredibly efficient and state of the art combat skin, he’s physically very powerful, essentially wields telekinesis, and is durable(he survived being stabbed through the eye by a spartan). It matters who you put him up against. Legends Palpatine or Grandmaster Luke would most likely beat him, while a legends Vader would most likely lose to him.

Slip Space travel, shields, incredibly small fusion reactors put into relatively small exo suits, etc are just scratching the surface of how unrealistic halo can get from a modern day scientific standpoint. Factor in Neural Physics, Halo Arrays, Hard Light, Composers, Teleporters, the flood super cell, etc and halo becomes incredibly wild as this is all hard SCI-FI stuff and some of it is frankly impossible(Flood Super Cell, Neural Physics). The UNSC, especially pre war and human covenant war UNSC, are grounded even to a fault in some areas, particularly battery technology, automation, vehicles, and ballistic weaponry. The grounded approach to halo since CE has always appealed to me, even if it was silly at times.
Even if Abeloth or The Ones sided with a united galaxy, I wouldn't put money on them. They can be weakened and overpowered and the Forerunners are ridiculously more advanced than anything else in the Galaxy.

We know they fought a 1000 year 2 front war against both the Forerunners and the Flood. In the climax of the war when the Flood had been 'defeated' at the cost of a 1/3 of the remaining human population and worlds. The humans had been driven back to their capital world where they successfully held off the entire forerunner war machine for a futher 50 yrs. It took humanity's major ally the San Shyumm, to betray them and surrender to the Foreunners, before Humanity was ultimately defeated.
Ancient Humanty with their war machine destroyed and space reduced to their last remaining world were still capable of putting up more of a fight than the entire Galactic Empire would be capable of.
At their height the Ancient Human empire would crush the Empire and Darth Sidious and Vader would get to see first hand what real power is (and they wouldnt like it).
The Humans were better. They found a cure even with their many limits that the Forerunners didn’t have. They would have won the Human-Forerunner war if the flood wasn’t involved.

By this point in the war the Forerunner leadership already knew about the Human - Flood war, and understood the looming threat the flood posed. The idea that a single shot from a single turbo-laser on a single star destroyer carries 200 Gigatons of TNT is absolute nonsense at its finest. That's continental destroying fire power. You could never use it for orbital bombardment to support ground troops because you probably vaporize those ground troops in the process. Basically each shot would impact with the explosive force of a Yellowstone Super-volcano eruption, and star wars warships have dozens, hundreds, or - in the case of super star destroyers - even thousands of these things?! all that can fire several times a minute?! I don't know why the empire bothered building the inefficient and very expensive death star (let alone two). when they could make a planet effectively uninhabitable in just a few shots from any old star destroyer, which - LMAO - apparently only cost about as much as Boeing 747. The warhammer 40k universe is insanely more powerful than the star war/halo/Star Trek Universes. No doubt the forerunners would win in Warhammer 40k, if the chaos gods wants to do some damage against the forerunners they have to reach and manipulate mendicants bias or offensive bias which is quite unrealistic if they can't stay for long period of time to do it but even in that scenario the only one who could manipulate the AIs is Tzeentch after centuries of debates, I can see the Necrons going on par against them but it's just matter of time for the forerunners to win, the Tyranids would put a good fight too
The only races that can put up a fight are the Eldar (before they fucked themselves quite literally), the War in Heaven Krorks and Necrons.

precursors were gods - they existed for hundreds of billions of years, created galaxies, devolved and reevolved over and over again. The milky way is just where they stored their coolest discoveries. The guardians ALONE could wreak serious havoc on the star wars galaxy. Going from planet to planet basically putting them into he stone age by doing their big pulse and shutting everything down. Combine that with the massive weapons that the sentinels can combine to form (ghosts of onyx I believe had a good example) you're looking at complete annihilation of the star wars galaxy

Slipspace allows them to bypass hyperdrive lanes entirely too. Forerunner ships can just slipspace through stars or the super massive blackhole in the Galaxy's center to systems on the other side with pinpoint accuracy. All they would need to do is upload the data from a single navi-computer, which are literally everywhere, to have the Galaxy mapped out mostly.
SW will always win all they have to do is have the high ground, always spin as its a very good trick, and say don't try it whenever they try it.

Humanity has existed for about the same length as Forerunners, and were nearly their equals; During the initial outbreak of The Flood, humans were desperate to escape and the Forerunners mistook this for aggression and so war broke out, but it wasn't a clean win they actually had to make real effort again all while humans are simultaneously trying to beat back The Flood, which says a lot about how powerful we were back then as well.
What ends up happening is the Forerunners eventually win, and digitize some humans into AIs (like Guilty Spark who eventually remembers who he was after the events of Halo 4) while the bulk of humanity is genetically regressed into a more primitive state.
Yeah let THAT sink in for a bit - the Forerunners had the capability to undo evolution.

Having been a huge Star Wars fan for the majority of my life, but also having read the forerunner books, let me just say: a single Sojourner-class Prime Dragoon (10km in length) could easily win against the entire united Star Wars galaxy. And the forerunners had at least several hundred thousand of these, likely millions.
The only threat of any kind would be the death star, and they'd just slipspace rupture right behind it, and use the torsion driver to collapse it into itself. While the death star could likely destroy or at least cripple the Sojourner with its main weapon, I severely doubt it would ever get a good shot with how slow it is.
The 28 converging beam cannons would essentially be mini death star beams violently dancing through space, slicing and coring ships left and right with such a lust for destruction and violence not even the ship firing them could control their exact pathing. One or two hits from those would be enough to render a Star Destroyer so much as swiss cheese, while a full broadside would easily incapacitate or outright annihilate super star destroyers, dreadnoughts, freighters with plot armor, and the like.
The light mass fusillade cannons, of which the Sojourner employed 300 of for point defense, would be significantly more destructive than even the fiercest turbolasers, shredding light cruisers, frigates, and corvettes, vaporizing freighters, and error 404ing all starfighters breaching the point defense grid instantly.
Security on board the ship consisted of 200 Scutarii, a class of warrior-servant that excelled in shipboard combat. Think of the most powerful soldier you can - Master chief, Noble 6, the Didact, Mandalore the Ultimate - and realize that a single generic warrior servant could defeat them all in seconds without breaking a sweat. Force users would be more tricky, but hard light projectiles would pass right through lightsabers, leaving force choke or rend as the only option. Even still, a warrior servant's combat skin would keep them lucid enough to simply disintegrate the offending sith before lasting damage could be done.
The Sojourner also carried 5000 Venatore, warrior servants employed with war sphinxes (think forerunner basilisk war droids) that were capable of leveling cities individually.
Aligning with the forerunner naval doctrine of the time, Sojourners also carried literally millions, yes millions, of Despair-class fighters. Don't let the name fool you, each "fighter" is actually an extremely fast and nimble 200 meter long warship capable of going toe to toe with most capital ships the star wars galaxy can throw at it.
The Sojourner itself boasted shields and armor of such strength that no weapon in the entire star wars galaxy would be any kind of threat, once again with the possible exception of the Death Star's super laser.
The forerunners wouldn't need Maethrillian, any megastructures, hero ships, or named characters. They wouldn't need fleets of thousands of warships, they wouldn't even need a Contendor-class ancilla (basically a super AI). All they'd need is a single prime dragoon that could be manufactured within days using Summus Assembler Vats.
Let's make things clear here, I'll be including EVERY single character from star wars history to make it fair, because there's really no competition or argument otherwise.
The star wars galaxy loses 10/10 here, but if we include everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY as in the Yuuzhan Vong and entities, then I'd say it's more fair and I'd say they'd win against the forerunners. That would also include the starkiller base, and it could destroy several planets at once. Actually, theoretically it could destroy thousands of planets by 1 blast because it has the energy of a star, but star wars lowballed it. But again, to really even it out let's say that starkiller base can only destroy a couple of hundred planets. That would destroy several ships for sure. Also, Luke Skywalker managed to move a black hole with the mass of a star to slam into an enemy ship. So most of the force users would be completely annihilated, but the grandmasters and Sith Lords would beat warrior servants pretty easily. Especially Luke Skywalker, he would completely obliterate any warrior servant, if Luke Skywalker can move the mass of a sun, then yeah, no argument there. Also, Palpatine's force lightning was powerful enough to bring down the resistance fleet, even though he was toying. It's definitely not going to do much damage to most ships, since well, they are the forerunners, but most lighter ships would crumble to Palpatine's full power lightning. Palpatine's force lightning would be enough to bring down plenty of Despair class fighters. The starkiller base has the power of a literal star, so it wouldn't even need to use its full power just to destroy 1 sojourner.

That's my biggest disagreement here. Abeloth herself could wipe out an entire fleet. I'm sure you you know who she is, am I'm sure you know that it took Luke Skywalker, Ben Skywalker, Darth Krayt and a couple of other Sith Lords just to beat Abeloth, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't even full power Abeloth, that was just her avatars. I'm also sure you know how powerful Darth KrayT and Ben Skywalker are, right? If it took Luke that many people to beat Abeloth's avatars, then Abeloth would easily destroy a sojourner and a fleet by herself at full power although that would be high def. People forget that Abeloth is 12 times stronger than Luke who can move something that has the mass of a star. For sure, the Star Wars Galaxy has an edge of ground units and just infantry in general, but the space ships is iffy. The Empire itself has slightly over 25k star destroyers, I'm assuming that it already includes the dreadnoughts and super star destroyers in that 25k. Then take into an account that the Dark Empire has just about that same number if not more, and are stronger since they have super weapons like the Galaxy Gun, the super laser of the Eclipse and the Devastator.
I would give the slight edge to star wars because of the starkiller base and cosmic entities advantage.
@@sittienakan1594 Yeah the whole Star Wars Legends galaxy could definitely take on a single Sojourner. I was just saying that in the scenario he provided a single ship would be enough. If you bring into account all characters throughout history, as well as cosmic entities and force monsters, the Forerunners would likely need a whole fleet if not some megastructures as well.
The only thing I disagree with you on is the importance of Starkiller base. I think it would be all but useless against a Forerunner threat. It's just too slow, and let's not forget it needs to drain a whole star every time it fires. Not only would the Forerunners flag it as one of the few weapons capable of damaging their ships and immediately prioritize its destruction, but they could also slipspace away every time it turned to aim at them. They'd likely do the same thing I described with the Death Star, simply slipspace rupture right behind it and use the torsion driver on the thermal oscillator.
As far as cosmic entities go, I'll have to defer to you, since I haven't done much research or know much about them. Generally when some type of magic is involved, things get iffy, and it's entirely possible they'd be able to destroy quite a few ships.

I was thinking of suggesting the "First Ones" (Shadow, Vorlon, etc.) or the "First One" vs the Forerunner. But decided a single ship on ship would be better.
The forerunner fought the precursors who used living technology. The forerunner are already accustomed to fighting living weapons.

All it takes is either Kelly or Linda and they are screwed. Kelly is the fastest spartan with reaction times that are impossible to measure and moves soo fast not even motion sensor weapons can see her. Linda is the most accurate and deadliest sniper of all Spartans. She was able to snipe elites out of banshees while hanging upside down dangling on a rope. And the hole to even see into a banshee is roughly the size of a half dollar. Spartans are just too well equipped and experienced. Yes delta is trained since birth but they don't think or adapt as quickly as Spartan 2s who are 7 times stronger and faster than the average human in armor.
The forerunners changed the axial tilt of the galaxy on what was basically a whim just to see if they could. Star Wars is fucked, celestials or no celestials.
The forerunners would throw a star at a celestial just for funzies! They casually bore into alternate realities to power their side projects, they can create a solar system sized shield world swallowing a sun and three planets in the centre then compress said shield world into a tiny bubble which they hide in slip space! Umm, we had 3 million fertile worlds and our thousands of installation were bigger than planets so yeah, 300 million, sarcophagus was a shield world which had land area 500 million times than earth
