This was my first BTS MV, and instantly I was dropped down the rabbit hole- I had never seen anything like BTS !!! but man was it confusing to start with because they looked so different in this one. But by now I can tell them apart "by their elbows" and they are the sunshine in my life.(To be honest, it was the Bad Lip Reading version that I first saw, then I looked for their original. THE BLR version is a hoot, you might have fun reacting to that!)

The mv is basically going “fuck you” to the people who says Korean MVs are too weird for them or something like that. The editing is way too forced to look weird and basically it’s saying like “I don’t give a fuck if you don’t like it because I’m gonna do my own thing.” There’s a bunch of other things that points to this theme, for example: Namjoon having those filters after someone told him not to use those filters; V wearing the glasses that someone told him he doesn’t look good with. So yeah, all in all, it’s a good MV through the concept, and it’s weird on purpose.
