Over here I think you only have to do a course and pass an exam to use a chainsaw for commercial use or before you can hire one, but sadly anyone can just buy and use one. I think most modern equipment is poorly designed and unreliable
Homeowner saws are junk. Buy xp stuff. You won't be disappointed. Get a china saw it will be better than Homeowner husky or even Stihl too. Junk. I own an echo 355t. Great little saw.
I’ve had ms271 farm boss.. not professional. I’ve cut so many trees and firewood for a few years now.. pulls 20 inch bar with full house chain all day all night no complaints.. Stihl is the way to go.. I’ve also been climbing with a 355t, got her tuned in beautiful can’t beat it for the money
Looks to me like the huskies were owned by somebody that knew nothing about chainsaws. They are lighter and cut faster than the homelites. So put another way, more fragile and wear out sooner. Everything is a tradeoff.
@@oologahgardentractorandcha3055 ok, I'll give you that. But...:) According to mike acres website a siper xl weighs 13lbs 14oz and does 6000rpm.My 372xp weighs 13 lbs 6 oz. Has more torque, better filtration, and way more hp(and anti vibe) I have modified it but even unmodified it ran 9600rpm in the cut.Now does 11,700 in the cut. Due to the better filtration and faster cut speed it will cut way more wood than the homelite before needing anything major. When it does all parts are readily available and cheap.
Most homeowner stuff like those ones usually are junk, but the pro series and especially the 2 series husqvarna are very reliable
Thx for the vids
Why are you even messing with that model. Get yourself a 365 sp original or a 372xp original.
I guess you missed the part of the video where I said I was working on these for friends, but I would NEVER buy any Husqvarna product again
Sthil will end your headaches.
These huskys are my headaches now, but both belong to other people.

@@N8outdoorsthe 460 rancher is also as good as that ms271 just a different color
Idiots cutting with a dull chain, no bar oil, or substituting motor or other oil will ruin a saw and bar quickly
Stihl MS 261C will crush older MS 260 and MS 026

They may have more rpm, but very little torque, great for small limbs but not for oak logs

I have a 1968 beard/poulon 80 something cc gear drive that needs a home
I'd put it on Marketplace, I'm 100 percent Homelite
I to hate husqvarna saw
