Great idea using the tackle box and fitting your own shelves! Might use that idea myself🤣 thanks for posting and love your web meet ups!👍🇦🇺😎🏁 all the best, Stephen
I need to find a local slot car club, and I’m convinced there aren’t any nearby. I tried posting ads on slot car forums, even Craig’s List to see if anyone was interested in joining me for racing. Nothing. Zero. Crickets, but I’m still hopeful I can find another guy or two or three to get together and race a couple of nights a month. If anyone in NY sees this, let me know.

Its very nice the wood one ...
Made by Whitey's Slot Car Boxes, but I don't think he's still in business. Lots of guys out there still making boxes, though.
I use an old cassette-tape "atache-case" (1/32)
Great boxes! Thanks so much for showing them!
Be sure to watch Dave's video, if you haven't already. I'm guessing you're already subscribed to his channel. :)
@@ggaub Absolutely! I also left a link to my Hoffman's Box video as well!
@@FastSports-ScaleCarGarage cool, I'll check that out. :)
That would fit inside either of my boxes. I made them both myself.

NY isn't small. What part of NY? I'll try to bring it up on the next chat. :)
@@ggaub - Awesome, thank you... I’m in Brooklyn.
get yourself an electronic timer; race yourself, tune your cars
"play slot cars"?
Yep. It's a game of skill, after all. :)
