I have a query Shivani. I've taken a rod, analysed, got the results. Here the problem is, my stress values are out of my requirement. I could vary diameter by few mm, so I'd need a sensor to get those simulation results for variable diameters to get output for maximum stress. How could I do that?

@@goengineer actually my task is to make an assembly which converts rotational to reciprocating motion. problem is the reciprocating part interfreres with the cam profile (rotating part). therefore i need to make a cut extrude so that it doesn't interfere
