      Don, if Go Engineer is your VAR please contact our Tech support department www.goengineer.com/support
      And they can help you if the issue is a glitch in the software or get you some training assistance with an application mentoring session.

    Good day to Goenginerr, i have a problem regarding about the import motion load. I have a shaft with a flywheel to rotate about 10 rpm in 30 s. The motion analysis runs smoothly, however, when i tried to import the loads into static to see the deflection and inputted bearing fixture (rigid) onto the split lines i had created, the transferred remote load appeared to be malfunctioned, and solid work gave out message saying that " One load/fixture/connector/contact is invalid". I had turned off the inertia relief and it still didint run smoothly with fixture on and no change in remote loads. Sadly, I tried test with Bearing Fixture, Roller/Slider Fixture, Cylindrical fixtures to mimic the bearing support during rotational motion, all failed and deformed drastically. May i know how to handle the remote load definition imported from the motion load when we had inputted the fixture or how i should input my fixture correctly? Thankyou.

    Cam we import motion analysis results into CFD?
    Since I want to run the CFD on a piston cylinder based compressor!

    • @goengineer
      @goengineer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No unfortunately Motion analysis cannot import to SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. Flow Simulation has no moving parts only the flow field moves in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation. The only exception to this rule is rotating parts it is possible to physically move rotating parts in SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation.
      What I do when I need to run an analysis where parts are moving in Flow Simulation is to run several simulations in a row where the only thing that is changed is the placement of the part file or part files in space. Then you can compare how the flow reacts with the parts in various positions
      .

    is it possible to find the force the face of the piston due to torque applied in the crank?

    • @goengineer
      @goengineer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it is possible to get that information, though the process is a bit complicated for a youtube comment. Reach out to your VAR's Training team for a more complete answer.

      Sorta like this:
      www.goengineer.com/blog/prescribed-displacement-reaction-force-solidworks-simulation
      Prescribed Displacement to find Reaction Force in SOLIDWORKS SimulationIn this article, learn all about prescribed displacement to find reaction force in SOLIDWORKS Simulation.www.goengineer.com
      Use a torque instead of prescribed displacement then measure the reaction force.

    My question is, if it is possible to do the beam deflection in Solidworks motion. I am trying to do this by fixing one edge of the beam with fixed support using mates and then mating a strip on the other side of the beam and applying a linear motor on the strip that pulls the strip and should bend the beam but it's not bending actually.

    • @goengineer
      @goengineer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Hafiz, you must use SOLIDWORKS Simulation to calculate deflection. Fortunately you can import Motion loads directly into Simulation! goeng.io/sk3CPp

      @@goengineer Very much so, thanks for the videos. I ask can you specify the version using and if the features are relative to either or all packages such as standard professional or premium. Outstanding job on the lesson as you included that information here. I have watched many more and don't find it consistent.

    Sir what is the purpose of giving hinge mate instead of concentric in cylinder assembly .. Thanks in advance

    • @goengineer
      @goengineer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The hinge mate combines both a coincident and concentric constraint. This saves you from having to create multiple mates for the same joint. Thanks.

    • @goengineer

      Yes you can, in fact you can add a motor and define it’s parameters (Velocity/acceleration) in relation to another component/motor reference velocity/acceleration.
