I found this one surprisingly good. And it’s dirt cheap. Very clean and bright... and I also get a little licorice. The bottle is absolutely beautiful.
I have the original AE and it's superb for the price actually one of my favourites despite the limited longevity. Just about to pull the trigger on blu.
Picked this up at Macys after seeing some hype for it. It's definitely worth it considering it's inexpensive. A blind buy for sure, love the smell. My favorite blue fragrance in my collection
Acqua Essenziale Blu is one of my absolute favorite blue styled fragrances, bar none. It is miles above Dylan Blue, I don't like Sauvage so I feel like AEB is better than it as well, and it's almost as nice as Blue de Chanel EDT. The lavender vibe in the heart mixed with the sweetness in many of the ingredients reminds me a bit of Polo Red EDP.

Debating between this and Rochas L'homme 2020 as a blue fragrance for the summer. Can't test either and will be a blind buy. There about the same price here in Canada. Any suggestions? I do like BDC EDP as reference.

Hi Daniel - That's not an uncommon wear-time for Eau de Toilette concentrations. The higher alcohol content helps with the initial projection but dilutes the parfum and reduces the overall longevity. One of my friends recommended that I cover some general guidelines about fragrance concentrations and relative performance. I'm hoping to get that video out the door very soon. I bought it. Really don’t like the lavender or powdery smell. I don’t know what it is but I don’t like lavender. Dylan blue is still the best blue fragrance ever created in my opinion.
The drydown is soo bad. I blind bought and regret it. Its not hidden gem. Not even close to blue de chanel. Too much lavender, very soapy and baby powder note. Very unmanly in the drydown. I dont understand reviewers
