- Keqing was one of the first popular characters of Genshin Impact, and an early game staple for many who were fortunate enough to pull for her. As time went on though, her viability as a main dps was called into question especially after many new, more powerful characters came out. Then when Dendro was released in version 3 she came into a second wind, elevating her status back into relevance. For today I want to talk about What Happened To Keqing, and where is she now?

I heard that a possible reason why the Keqing banner happened was because of the chinese new year : releasing a character strongly tied to death (Hu Tao) during that period would be considered a bad omen or something of the sort. So they delayed it with the Keqing banner

Yeah, I remember this. Hu Tao didn't have a whole lot of marketing like the other previous characters, there were only a few hints of her before release.

@Dani_RdM to be completely correct, Hu Tao had NO marketing. She was a complete surprise. She's not included in the 1.3 trailer. Some of us at the time pieced together that there was a hidden character banner because Xiao and Keqing's were only 2 weeks long in a 6 week long version. And leaks all pointed at it being Hu Tao. But a good number of people just didn't know she was coming until her banner came out.
Actually there was only a Keqing banner because it would be considered “rude” to show Hu Tao in the 1.3 special program since she is obviously related to death, and it would be considered insensitive if a character so related to death in the Chinese New Years update. So unless you looked at leaks, (which were less prominent back then) there was no way of knowing Hu Tao’s existence until her character demo.
So in conclusion; Keqing only got a banner because Hoyo was scared of backlash.
Edit: I know the 3.4 Hu Tao are a good counter argument for this theory, but I’m guessing that since it’s a two year difference, their mindset must’ve changed? Idk. But I can’t thing of a better answer why they didn’t show Hu Tao back then.

But seriously, Keqing is my absolute comfort character and will always be my go-to. I still have not found another character whose play style works so fluidly for me, her animations are just a thing of simplistic beauty.

For real, people saying, that Alhaitham is a better version of her, but i beg to disaggree. Alhaitham feels horrible to play, his kit feels so much clunkyer compared to Keqing even though he deals more damage.

The Playstyle are really different, yes Alhaitham is stronger but Keqing attacks faster, more Fluid and had no ER problems, her Team is also more Quickswap.
But i like both Playstyle, but Yes Keqing is a bit more Fun and comfort to play.
By the way i probably only one of few people that have 3 crowns on both :)
@@krummesblech Keqing is not just more comfort to play, but straight up better designed. Her burst is much better, easier to use. Alhaitham will always use it in a way, that the "closest" enemy he is aiming at is situated in a way, that it wont hit anyone else. Not to mention his ult is basically useless, only good for getting those mirror jades.
His dash is worse too, can't delay it or anything, always pops you right away, not to mention you almost always have to aim upwards for the plunging attack stack on the passive.(I know you can aim it to the ground and if your are quick enough you can plung that way too, but that is almost impossible to do on mobile or with higher ping)

It felt so validating being a 1.0 Keqing main when Dendro first dropped. I remember I was in VC with my friends and the first thing I tried out was Aggravate with Keqing and DMC. I remember screaming with excitement, “Oh my god, she’s good again! Keqing is back!!” My friends who knew I was one that copium finally saw the power that Keqing held in her Death by 1000 Cuts playstyle. I don’t play Genshin any longer, but it was one of the most cathartic things I’ve ever felt playing gacha throughout the years 😭

@@meowk123I don't really enjoy Genshin's "endgame" anymore, honestly, among other gripes that include no skip button, even if this game is story-centric, and the minimal rewards you receive from exploring the world and doing the quests. I know the appeal to Genshin, and I respect those who remain enthralled with its world and gameplay loop, but I know I'm better suited to turn-based gameplay and games that don't force me to click my life away with no way to access what I missed in-game if I'm patches of content behind (don't get me started on how important story beats are hidden behind inaccessible limited time events haha). The most I do now is just keep up with what lore is spoiled on my Twitter TL haha.
TL;DR: I don't enjoy Genshin as a whole anymore and don't see it as a worthwhile past time for myself for the time being. I do respect and am happy for those who remain enraptured by the game, though, and continue to wish them even more fun in the future! :)
@@hpazu5516 Don't blame you, personally I think the writing took a big hit during Inazuma/Sumeru but Fontaine's writing so far has been better. Also, Star Rail makes Genshin look a little worse as an offering to spend your time in if I'm being completely honest. Right now I'm just playing both, as much as I can while I'm "working" as a stay-at-home dad. :P
@@hpazu5516 honestly so fair, im pretty burnt out too but fontaine is helping that, i'm already done with the archon quest though so i've just been doing events when i feel like it, and quickly logging in for 5 or so minutes to do my commissions and then getting off again. anyways, i agree aggravate was so OP for keqing, i was so excited!
Keqing has one of the best Burst animation. She may not deal the biggest of dmg, but it sure looks awesome.

I've always found Keqing a fun character to play so the release of dendro making her stronger has been great.
Keqing got one of the best glow ups in genshin when dednro came out. I personally use keqing aggravate in one side of the abyss and cyno hyperbloom in the other side and i can clear abyss easily with that.
Just in case anyone was wandering my teams are:
Keqing,kazuha,nahida and kuki shinobu
Cyno,baizu,dendro traveler,xinqu
It is really great both Cyno and Keqing can have separate team members. Cyno doesn't need Kazuha while Keqing doesn't need hydro and a strong dendro applicator.
No, Kuki, Thoma and Fischl got a way bigger glow up.

Keqing was my first 5* since I lost Xiao to her. I was upset at first but after using her I liked using her. I brought her through Inazuma and Sumeru. Sadly I have now becomme an Al Haitham main, but I think Keqing is part of the reason that I like his playstyle. Keqing still has a very special place in my heart and I'm not upset that I got her now. I'm glad that I've gotten to use her for as long as I did.

I have been playing Keqing with Kirara ever since Kiri came out and I've never liked a team so much, will stay a Keqing main forever

The only issue I have with Keqing is managing stamina with charge attacks and dodging on mobile 😅 using her in quickswap in dendro teams while barely weaving in normal attacks has made me use her a lot more.
I played aggravate keqing everytime on mobile and I gotta say its the most fun team I've ever played. my comp is keqing fischl kirara kazuha btw

I wish I had Nahida, came back to the game when kirara was on the banner I missed almost of the dendritic characters. Was wondering if baizu is any good in a keqing team
@@DAV1999should be a strong option if not better option than nahida depending on the team. Something like Keqing Baizhu fischl Sucrose would have a high dmg ceiling Sucrose Em Buff and Electro shred along while being comfy with Baizhu Healing and shields.
Baizhu though would need like Instructor set to to team buff everyone with EM
What made Keqing good to play for me was the fact that you can swap off her immediately. Unlike Cyno that if you want to swap to a different character, the burst will disappear.

The reason why Keqing had her own banner as a rate up was because it was the first lantern rite at the time and Hu Tao was meant to release during the latter half of the update. However it's taboo to talk about death and things related to it during Chinese new year and so they didn't speak anythimg about her on twitter, on the live stream, nothing. She was no where to be seen until Feburary 26th 2021 when they revealed her teaser trailer and her banner came up not too much later on March 2nd the same year. They needed someone to fill the two week space between Xiao and Hu Tao (because the banners were 2 weeks each) and Keqing was a Liyue character so I guess they throw her in there.
But none or less. Everyone skipped Keqing for Hu Tao only.

Pulled Keqing on her very own banner back in 1.3 with tons of luck. She probably still is my luckiest pull to date, or up there at least. Ever since then I‘ve tried to complete stuff with her (and Xiao who I also got in 1.3) not only because they were my favorites, but also out of spite since she was called bad. I never did mind her powerlevel and had a solid team by the end of version 2, but no denying dendro skyrocketed her in every way!
I never managed to get Keqing, but I have seen her quite absent in most accounts, I only want her because she looks so cool!
If you have Nahida and get Keqing sooner or later, you won't regret trying that out. Especially with C6 Fischl and Baizhu as the shielder/healer.
I also wants Keqing can play with Quickbloom/Hyperbloom more than just only Aggravate
Yep as a Keqing Fan, it's just pure love and appreciation to her character, even if she wasn't viable it didn't matter, she was fun to play and fun to look at. Dendro sure helped Keqing become even more viable. When Genshin Impact first launched, playing Keqing was the most fun unit for me to play, especially her handy elemental skill being able to help with exploring so much.
Mine's Triple Crowned since forever and I still use her alot. Just 36 Stared the Abyss with her aswell. Keeping that low % of usage in Abyss up for my girls Keqing and Sucrose :D

I have a triple crowned keqing as well but i cant do floor 12 lmao. The fire abyss lector has too much hp and the fastest i can do for both parts is 3.5 mins which is past the 3* requirement

what happened? she got even more popular than before. There are so many Keqing mains producing content. She's extremely fun and her personality/character are amazing. She is the definition of 10/10. She's also super strong with Dendro and is one of the best chars right now..

I never liked Keqing, but today I wanted to try something new, I made a team of her, Fischl and Zhongli, and I actually was enjoying her fast attacks with a lot of aggravate damage. Her talents were 1/1/1 but she still managed to handle enemies quickly. I actually liked on-fielding her.
I often use her against groups of enemies that deal fast heavy damage, because she moves around a lot and can escape easily.
Keqing aggravate is really good. Especially with Nahida and Baizhu on the team, and C6 Fischl for some off field electro applications as well.
As a keqingmains, i really enjoys the attitudes many shares which is not “meta team” but rather “make any character works” mentality. It’s both healthy as well as more fun messing with weird team (thurderingfury EM razor is my shield breaker team now) and change it ups so thing doesn’t feel stale
I wish more players had this mentality. There's also a few player subsets that desperately need the same mentality.
keqing will always hold a special place in my heart as my first 5 star dps (venti was my first five star). I love her so much and have mained her since the day i got her. she is the only character that I have triple crowned and I even got her signature weapon (mistsplitter is literally for her, it's purple and looks perfect on her). I bought her outfit. I love her so much.
i've been playing since just after the first lantern rite began and i've always started each new region with her. she is what made me love electro as an element. I have every single electro character at level 90 with one talent crowned. it is because of her that I have become a dedicated electro main. the amount of joy she brings me is so insane. she is such a fun character to play and the only character that even comes close to me in cyno, but keqing is so easy to play for beginners while cyno is a but harder to build.
I could literally write an essay about why she's my favorite character from her personality to her design to her role in quests (keqing story quest when??).

She was my first ever 5-star, first carry that I built a team around, first character that I levelled to 90 and my first companionship 10.
Nowadays she's a bit overshadowed by my national team but I still use her while exploring and completing quests.
Nevertheless, she will always hold a special place in my heart (or at least the Genshin part of it) :D
I think this calls for a new series, probably one with the name "Why "they" were played again", implying how the new game mechanics/character brought by updates helps forgotten characters be playable again😊

Keqing is my comfiest character to play to this day, she hard carried me since ar 10 until ar 56 where I pulled my current main. I was overjoyed when dendro finally did her justice.
Sumeru was great in that it buffed some characters that really deserved better. mainly Keqing/Yae/Kuki/Thoma but i have to admit i wish they would do something for former fan favourite Diluc as well. Although i suppose Diluc mains can at least be happy that he isn't Dehya.
Keqing was my first 5* character. I loved her.
She helped me to go through Mond and Liyue, but when I reached Abyss... Yeah, she was replaced.
And then 3.0 came. I use her since.

Also, Vars forgot to mention that Electro set bafore 3.0 was GARBAGE, but after Dendro release, it became good.
It give Keqing more damage in every way possible: elemental damage, reaction damage and cooldown decrease!
Now Im able to 36* the Abyss without breaking my fingers or switching to other characters!
I got Keqing as my first five star on my second account, and over time I started to grow fond of her. I love her skin, her fast attacks and her aesthetics. I play with my friend who uses Alhaitham and Nahida, so I play electro for him and that made me, again, like Keqing more. She’s not the strongest, but she is a special character for many people. As for me, I’ve invested more time into her because I genuinely love her playstyle and looks. Aggravate Keqing is pretty good too

She is in a better place now but I think Yae's still the favored aggrevate electro due to being way easier to use. It's mostly EEE > switch out Yae and then repeat, then burst if necessary. Keqing does makes you sweaty but is satisfying when you pull off her combos and rotations.
When aggravate came out I tested both of them a lot and Yae feels like a downgrade tbh.
On paper her team has slightly higher dps, but it assumes you spend time charge attacking with on-field Yae. And considering that Keqing can run a healerless team of Fischl/Nahida/Kazuha quite easily because Keq has a lot of i-frames, while playing Yae with no heals or shields is cancer squared, thus resulting in Keq outperforming her in that slot.
I think Yae shines more as a support in Spread teams, where Fischl doesn't work well.

While nowadays I rarely see speedruns Keqing aggravate (I'm seeing more Melt Diluc unironically) same holds true for Yae, guess Nahida was just given to Tigh and Haitham for their top ends team.
Or maybe speedrun as a scene is just dead now.
Raiden too is very invisible and Hu Tao didn't reappear until Lyney came for Pyro DPS PvP in NGA.
@@dendenmushi9714 As a day 1 player who has not raised any shielders or even healers past Bennet, I do not think I should compare the performance of units with shielders lol.
Still, if we are to compare the two of them under the same conditions, it is a trade-off of a slight ST increase for Yae or better AOE coverage for Keqing. I really compared the CN continuous speedruns of the two for 3.2 and 3.4. 3.4 was pretty ST heavy and the two of them had identical times, while Keqing performed much better on the heavy AOE of 3.2.
Can't say if the comparison will hold for both of them running shields tbh and shields can allow for an easier time on-fielding Yae, so idk.
Regarding the speedrunning scene, I think it lost a lot since the closing of ysmuskreef; that site had really made the comparisons of top tier speedruns accessible, plus it had monetary incentives. CN speedruns are generally not easily accessible now for non-CN players and I think the general hype for speedruns has kinda fallen off tbh.

If you exclusively put a shielder in the team, you're taking someone Yae would bennefit and Keqing not.
Also with Kirara/Zhongli Keqing may be their best Synergy, dunno.

She was my first 5 star, carried me since the start of the game until the first Hu Tao banner, seeing her get a buff with dendro was so satisfying
I like that the Keqing Mains subreddit is still using the same profile a pixel art that they made on r/place 2022.
She became my only C6 5-star prior to Sumeru due to many failed 50/50s. As soon as Dendro made Electro viable, she became my highest DPS driver alongside Nahida on my Aggrevate team. She’s definitely a late bloomer and made me appreciate those failed banner rolls more.

They've been going on and on about how she's the master duelist. Even showing that she can infuse her em sword with electro and showing that she has fast moves....like Keqing. It's literally as if the devs are warning the Keqing mains that she will again lose her spot.

I'm pretty sure she was a unit designed around dendro from the very beginning. They probably meant for dendro to be in the game in the beginning, but didn't have time to finish it due to burning always being in the game. Thus some characters always worked better with dendro's addition, but were useless before then. Hydro is the only element that got buffed with every addition to the game, but there are also the least amount of them. So maybe we can see something similar with Hydro soon though for this case it could be a nerf of some sort. lol
Not particularly Keqing, but the whole electro element was made with dendro in mind. That's why it felt lackluster back then, now no one would dare to say that electro needs a buff.
@@ginichimaruan3572 Yeah the way LISA works only made sense after dendro came out.
This is such a stretch lol, I think Dendro simply fixed Electro's terrible reactions. Shinobu and Yae were 100% designed with Dendro in mind, but Keqing working with Dendro is more or less because of the nature of her kit, and not because she was made for Aggravate. Raiden also has a ton of electro application and hits, but she does not benefit from Aggravate, since Aggravate loses value with high-mulitplier hits. Meanwhile, Keqing has a bunch of small (but very fast) Electro hits which takes full advantage of Aggravate's damage calculation. I just don't think a developer could have foreseen that exact scenario, since they were probably the ones that created Xingqiu / Xiangling / Bennett lmao.

Don't see how it's a stretch when Lisa, Keqing, and Kuki were completely unusable before Dendro came out. They were obviously designed with it in mind. Especially when Keqing goes from like F tier to S tier on comps that can use her. Fischl and Dendro broke that bitch. xD Before that though she was by far the worst character in the game to the point where dps built supports did like double her damage with their autos and applied an element.
You are under the illusion that they didn't map out what all of the reactions were going to be ahead of time. Which is like a professional requirement in the planning process, so it had to be planned out. They probably knew what each released character was going to be all the way up to Yao Yao considering her model was in the beta files.

I finally got her after wanting her forever. I’m glad she’s still usable but I am sad she got pushed out of the spotlight :( she was who everyone wanted to main at one point
I wonder if Clorinde, the next electro character that will be realesed in Fontaine will take Keqing place as an aggravate unit or will be something different again.

Keqing was my first 5-star and she carried me through to AR 40. About that time I picked up a Diluc and used him until Ayaka was released and mained her for a good chuck of time. I very recently started building my Keqing up again since she works well with dendro and because I am growing a little bored with my best teams. It's fun to try something new even if what's new is actually three years old. Now if Hoyo would just do something to reinvigorate Qiqi.
I still play her so much😂 I got her on Standard Banner a long time ago and now she‘s part of my permanent team(s).
She had the special mushroom and got powerful (dendro not anything else)

I really wanna build her, but I have Al Haithem, and he’s like, a hotter, more modern version of her.
I built her after the dendro era because i knew she got better but she just didnt feel like what i know al haitham would give me

Yae is not better than Keqing in aggravate. She might seem better on paper but Keqing handles incredibly well with very smooth rotations. Burst and skill cd match up very will to maintain consistent dps with high uptime on all abilities. There is no awkwardness with her. Keqing is also better in AoE than Yae who has issues with her burst uptime. Keqing applies electro much faster than Yae especially if using Thundering Fury set. In single target though I would say Yae can do better as she also scales with EM to improve her dps. I think in terms of multiwave mob slaying Keqing is the winner among all electro characters due to having the fastest rotations.
@@AzureDrag0n1 No, Yae is better. She deals more personal damage. In AoE she will aggravate on almost every single hit because her foxes attack random enemies. In single target she will still deal A LOT of personal damage in top of driving Fischl.
Also, the rotations aren't faster, it's a quick swap team, both of them are. You just have to make sure your buffs are up and that Oz is present on field.
@FayaExidor Maybe conditionally Yae can do better, but Keqing consistent AoE will often give her the edge.

i always bring her "almost" to everywhere, and im very happy when i can clear full star abyss with her in 1.3 for the first time
yes, i use her less and less time in world exploration, but
she always there for my abyss run, either its top or bottom F12 team to this day.

Started Genshin just this year, Kequeen was my first 5* and I was lucky enough to almost immediately get a Lion's Roar, both off Standard Banner 🎉. Her +C1 Collei taught me how to use Aggravate and Spread. Rolling Keqing/Fischl/DPS Yaoyao/Kirara.
You did kind of touch on how Aggravate made Keqing play as intended, basically "spam as much electro as possible" and I totally agree. One thing that I found that totally changed how I play her was 4-Piece Thundering Fury. With the hectic number of reactions Keqing outputs, her skill recharges incredibly quickly enabling her to definitively keep 100% uptime on her infusion as well as spend less time charged attacking/dashing around the field. It makes her a far speedier, spammy character which I think is exactly how she should handle. AND this means more electro application, since I've heard that sometimes excessive Dendro application can bump off electro. My rotation goes EE-Q-N1C-EE-switch out and means far, far lower stamina requirements. You can go E-Q-E but I'm finding it difficult to learn lol. Going to get the new BP sword and see if that improves the damage, what with the Elemental Skill spam.
Dendro (and now this new artifact set from Fontaine) has also buffed one of her best supports in Fischl. With the coordinated attacks from Oz benefiting from a spammy playstyle, the team works even better. Not a direct buff, but remember that team-building is the name of the game now and a strong Fischl is great for Keqing.
Keqing aggravate is my comfort pick for abyss, she always works and clear in very good times while being unironically the most fun character to play with her zooming in the battlefield and spamming ult.
I got Keqing on the beginners banner (the one where you get Noelle) and I love her a lot. My current only five star and she has such a fun playstyle.
I joined the game when she was on the banner, she also became my first 5 star and carried me in the early parts of the game 🫶 I love her to bits, but I have quite a few t stars and barely use her now :(
Keqing was my very first 5 star, still sad i lost to venti, but she was one of my favorite characters. I even triple crowned her and got her Jade Cutter but I just don’t find her fun anymore.

I got keqing as my second 5* dps very close to sumeru, when her predilect team was taser, I got fishl on the summer event of that year shortly after and I had kazuha from his banner not so long before that, it felt predestined, I've been a keqing main since then, yaoyao was a game changer for me since I could free nahida from my keqing team 😂
I've already got even Raiden shogun, but I just can't let go my girl, she's special
i remeber when 3.0 drop and everyone start to look at keqing. i felt happy and sad at same time because she finally gain some spotlight but also she become more mainstream than b4.

I’ve always loved Keqing for her playstyle and design and I wasn’t playing the game when she was the meta so dendro felt like a great buff for her! Even if she falls off again I don’t think I’ll ever stop using her
I haven't played since 1.2, and haven't really followed much content about it. I enjoyed it, but I just don't have the time play it anymore.
That being said, Keqing was my first 5*, and was my favorite to use at launch. So this was an interesting video for someone who is basically an outsider looking in.
I have both c1 Keqing and c2 Raiden. I often outperform c2 Raiden in Spiral Abyss with Keqing. If you ever played them both you would understand why pretty quickly. This is because Raiden is more restricted and works best in destroying very tanky enemies in one fell swoop. She is bad at taking down waves of weaker enemies. Keqing however is perfect for slaughtering waves of enemies. Her single target dps against bosses is nowhere near as powerful but her ability to wipe out lesser foes can substantially surpass Raiden. She is far more flexible and comfortable to play which eliminates any awkward downtime when you sometimes overkill enemies or a straggler is left behind by Raiden. Keqing can very flexibly extend her rotation or cut it short to finish off enemies. It is this flexibility that sometimes allows her to clear rooms faster than even a c2 hyper carry Raiden.
Her aggravate team comps are also really flexible. You can be more or less defensive by cutting healing or shielding for more offense and vice versa.
Her 4 star sword Lion's Roar is also quite good in this comp. I use Mistsplitter if Ayaka does not need it. You just have to be careful with your rotations if you are using Nahida and VV anemo.

I'm one of the few who whaled for keqing on her banner to this day i did not regret it and still use her even tho i got almost all the characters I'll still play keqing
I really liked her playstyle as physical dps in Version 1 and after all the crazy dsp characters came out I switched to them and somewhere around the release of inazuma I quit, now that I am back and hearing the she is actually good now, I cant wait to use her again.
I remember seeing I think mango seven play genshin in 1.0, and he had keqing. I was immediately interested in her. Ever since 1.0 i’ve wanted her, and I got her somewhere around 2.0-3.0. I haven’t stopped using her since.
I havent gotten keqing yet but seeing this i look forward to getting her. I also want to cosplay as her since shes really cool
when dendro came out i didnt have tighnari or a really well built electro units, but seeing how good aggravate was i wanted to try it myself, therefore i decided to build keqing, and i must say that for me, shes an insane unit. from a really mid dps that could be outclassed by almost any other limited 5*, dendro gave her a MASSIVE buff and new great teams with the catalyze reaction. i remember the abyss in which was the wenut, and the dps that made it the easiest for me was my half-built keqing with 30% crit rate. of course other party members also affect hers and overall team dmg, as i was using her in her best (i think) team with fischl, kazuha and yaoyao

I started playing Genshin when it came out and stopped. Then after a year I wanted to try again especially after I noticed Keqing ultimate is similiar to Judgment Cut End from Vergil and Ayaka's charged attack to his Judgment Cut. And for that whole time to this day I roll mostly for Keqing since she is avaible to get all the time and I didn't get her a single time
Keqing is my favorite out of the starter five stars. The minute she came into my party, I ALWAYS used her. Her playstyle is so much fun to use!

It didn’t really matter to me how weak she was compared to her main dps peers. I was always proud to play her everytime. Dendro did do a-lot more for her and I couldn’t be more grateful for it.

Keqing was my first 5star, came in time when I pulled in Tianqiu valley with those pesky towers. Used her constantly until after the First Golden Apple Archipelago where I stopped due to potato PC. Went back to playing in Nov2022 and continued to enjoy her even more because of Dendro. Keq is Qween.
I have her triple crowned c3 with mistsplitter and she slaps. More than once ahe helped me to clear the Abyss

My one and only missing standard character. Jean came home for a very long time and even I have Dehya and Tignari cons before I ever pulled her.
It was such a delight to come back to genshin after people figured out dendro reactions to learn that keqing was actually in a good spot in the game. she's one of my favorite units to play by far
The only standard banner character I want and the only one I don’t have… she looks so fun to play, every time she is in a combat event I get exited because I’m just having a good time, but sadly I’ve gotten every other standard five star (tighnari and dehya included) and have yet to get her
There are only 2 things, I think, Keqing needs:
1. Infusion uptime should be slightly above the means to aquire it. In her case It should last 7-8 seconds.
2. Make characters infuses prioritize their own element. If I stand in C6-Bennet-Ult, I don't want to have a pyro-infusion with Keqing. Same is true with Chongyun or Candace... As far as I know, Diluc also struggles in that regard, but that's another story.
She will always have a special place in my heart since I got her on her birthday. Just imagine reading that she wants to visit you and take a stroll through Liyue in the evening and she really appears... I was so happy at that time qwq
Diluc won't struggle as Pyro always wins over Cryo infusion. It only loses to Hydro infusion.
And no sane Diluc user puts Candace with him.
I have almost 100% uptime with TFury though
she's usually my go-to when facing the dorito Symmetra towers, her low cooldowns work really well with Abyss' multi-wave content
I hope IF and WHEN we do get some sort of a third passive for everybody, Keqing could have something that could give her some quality of life to her kit.
I actually started building Keqing just for fun just before they announced all the stuff to do with Sumeru. I was gonna do a taser team just because Keqing looked fun to play and then dendro dropped and I was suddenly very glad I'd started building her on a whim.
