I’m leaving Denmark today after a wonderful vacation. It was definitely warm here during my stay but I would love to return in Autumn for some cooler temps.
Thank you so much for this! I love the Danish style and Hygge vibes. Where I live in the Northwest of the US is similar weather so super helpful for here.
Thank you for this Signe! I hope to visit your beautiful country one day, but in the meantime these tips work well for my lifestyle in Canada too as smart casual is definitely my vibe!
I was in Copenhagen just a week ago and even though I haven't watched your video, I packed some of the essentials you talked about! I was also very lucky because it seemed that I brought the Greek sunshine to Denmark, we didn't have rain at all for five days! Definitely coming back to revisit and will keep your recommendations handy!
I'm going to Copenhagen in October! As a latina from the Caribbean, I'm not skilled in the art of layering clothes so this video is perfect! Thank you so much!
Dear Signe, Great tips and a useful vid as always but there’s no way you can pack all these clothes in a carry-on, and prove me wrong. I am travelling always with a carry-on and how great it would be if i could take all these wonderful outfits with me. You’re looking good by the way and your skin glow ist amazing 🤩 xox from Germany
Maybe you’re right 😁 of course autumn/winter pieces take up more space and it would require a bigger suitcase but I hope you got some inspiration anyway 🫶🏻 thanks for watching!
Yes in Canada it can be a lot colder in Autumn where I live now--but this is almost exactly what I would pack when I go to Vancouver or Vancouver Island on Canada's west coast in late Autumn. I am heading to southern Europe this Autumn and I'm having a harder time with that packing list as it's likely 20 Celsius but you have to be prepared for rain + cold too 😵💫
Yeah the start of this autumn season has been very warm! It could go both ways 😅 Further down south it will probably be warmer than in Scandinavia yes!
Thanks for this video, Signe! I'm visiting Copenhagen and a few cities in Sweden in late November/early December, so I hope you do another one for a winter trip 😊
Some parts of Canada are as you describe but living here on the West Coast, the climate is very different. I live on Vancouver Island and our summers are usually not super hot or humid and the Fall and Winter is rainy. I’m originally from Finland and not afraid of cold winters but here we rarely get snow. 😊
Dear Signe, thanks for your videos- at the moment we spend a really nice holiday in copenhagen- it is so hot right now. 😃I packed my suitcase with several tipps from your videos to get kind of a capsule wardrobe for this trip. I thought it would be a little bit colder- so my sweaters etc must wait until we move further to oslo next week. 😅
I’m glad you’re enjoying Copenhagen! Yes the first bit of September has been so hot 🥵 we’re due cooler weather next week though which I’m looking forward to! Thanks for watching and for commenting 🙏🏼❤️
I so much like the denish and scandinavian style! I have been in Kopenhagen to visite my daughter, and what I really liked there was that everyone is going around by bike no matter how casual or elegant they are dressed! I love that! But I really am struggeling to wear wide leg trousers (which I like to wear so much!) when going by bike. Do you have any reccomondations for that "problem"?
I returned from Copenhagen 2 days ago. The city is beautiful. I love the way women dress and the way they do their makeup. I bought 2 pairs of boots that I had never seen before in other countries. Next time, I'll buy myself a handbag there. Do you know any Danish companies that made handbags in a minimalist style? Any recommendations please?
Thank you! I love Denmark but have only been there warmer weather time. A question, you focused on the pants and tops. I went to Scotland last spring for city and lots of hiking and used leggings with a dress for all of the activities. I’m heading to Norway next spring and was planning to use the same plan. Will I be out of place with leggings and a dress or should I focus on wearing pants? Love your grey sweater! Thank you!
I´ve never been to Denmark, though it´s not far from the Netherlands. Maybe it´s got something to do with it feeling a little too similar in its flatness. 😅 But Danish models like Caroline Brasch Nielsen (forgot her married name) seem to be the complete opposite of the stereotypical Scandi way of dressing. Almost cooky even.
Every time I watch your videos, I say to myself, "Her sense of style is so much like mine!". I tend to wear a lot of neutrals and stripes. Wish I could get myself to truly "use less", though... would love to be more minimal for the sake of the earth.

Oh how lovely! ❤
Sounds like a beautiful place to visit in Autunm! I love the simplicity of your home town Signe!! 😊❤

Love this! This packing list is applicable to most parts of central Europe as well during autumn - always layer and keep an umbrella with you :)
I visited Copenhagen in March and packed similar type of clothes. Woollen coat and jumpers definitely helped to feel warm :)
I will be in Denmark for 10 days end of September. So perfect video for me! Thank you ❤

That video is actually super helpful as I am planning on visiting Copenhagen for a long weekend in October ❤️
2:30 shout out to Canada 🇨🇦 😂 we’ve got the extremes for sure ! It was so hot this summer

I‘d love to go! Thank you for the tips, also good for autumn in other places.
We will be visiting Copenhagen next year in fall, hopefully. This was very helpful.

Could you do a winter trip packing video- we are going to Norway, Denmark, and Sweden next April? Or maybe it’s spring then? Thank you

Take me back to Copenhagen!!
We are hoping to go to Copenhagen in January for a short break. Thermals I guess , similar to when we did New York in January.
Sounds lovely! Yes, January will definitely be a little cooler 🙂
Takk for nyttig video! Og så fin genser du har på, er den hjemmestrikket?

great recommendations, but also always pack some kind of slippers/flip flops.
Oh yes slippers would be a great addition to the list for sure! Fluffy ones especially for when it gets even colder 🙂
Good morning from South Africa 🇿🇦
😍good morning! Thanks for watching!

Dresses are fine too! This video of course reflects my personal preferences too, and I never really wear dresses other than during summer time 😄🙏🏼
