Amen was thinking about this last night..wonderful. With all that's going on and this person who they claim is Messiah. There is only one Messiah his name is Jesus Christ
Same! I am not sure if that guy in Israel (the Yanuka) will claim to be the messiah. I think it is a bit more likely he will claim to be Elijah meaning he will be the false prophet. Jews are sure treating him like a messiah/Elijah figure.
@@perazdera2827 144k is obviously representing the 12 tribes of Israel having 12k each. I believe Christians will go through the tribulation but it is clear that the Jews are the 144k. Because it mentions each tribe then says 12k of them were sealed.
@@servantofchrist9697 no, the 144k are not the Jews. The list of tribes doesn't make sense if that's true. It's a symbolical number that symbolizes the Church.
Be wary that many False prophets and Messiah's will appear in the end of times. Do not believe it if someone is to say "Jesus is here, there or had come" for He comes like a thief in the night.
I love your ministry! Sound doctrine that is always spot-on and explained in a very clear and concise manner. What more could you want when studying God's word. May God continue to bless this wonderful ministry 🙏🙏🙏
@@djparsons7363 the Bible never states SPECIFICALLY who the two witnesses are. He gave excellent background & insight in order to ponder what the actual answer MIGHT be. This is not a salvation issue, therefore we can have different opinions and still be Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Do you have all the answers? If you KNOW who the two witnesses are please share!
@@ArmyScoutMom The "Two Witnesses" are NOT two people, that is certain. Many say Elijah and Enoch are the most likely but for an incorrect reason. People think they didn't die but were taken to Heaven which is NOT true, Jesus clearly stated that no one who died previously to his death went to Heaven. (John 3:13) Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man. A number of years after his ascension in the windstorm Elijah is still alive and active as a prophet, this time to the king of Judah. Because of the wicked course taken by King Jehoram of Judah, Elijah writes him a letter expressing Jehovah’s condemnation, which is fulfilled shortly thereafter.-2Ch 21:12-15
To Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus. First we must realize as great as the prophets were all things were done through them, by God. I believe the same spirit that rested upon them, will be assigned to two chosen individuals of today. And the reason I believe that is because, once we finish our race and given our crown. Our heavenly father is not a temper, dont think he would thrust them into a unknown time and risk the chance of them being taken by sin. Just my thoughts.
I might be wrong but is my hope that the chosen individuals will be ex sinners : ) who were ordinary people like u & me during this age, to show other's during those dark times that wisdom can be attained through reading bible & history documents 📄
The two witnesses would be far less likely to sin if they’ve been to heaven and they would only be here during that appointed time. Not necessarily living a whole life
@sunnysidejoni yes two people and they are sinners for everyone is a sinner . Anyone that says they are not sinners are taking away from jesus the Sacrifice he gone through. Our sins glorify Jesus christ .
I used to say it’ll be Moses and Elijah because of the same reasons given in this video. However after your video I’m now even more skeptical because Enoch and Elijah sounds about right since they haven’t experienced death yet 😭 but wow on the third option!!!what a great video for a group discussion. May our God continues to bless this ministry.
The two witnesses are righteousness and judgment, not actual people and they don't get shot in the back of the head. Many parts of the Bible have been changed by evil beings like Billy Graham
@@oab777 Hebrews 11:5 literally said “Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death” please read that chapter carefully. It clearly tells us the man didn’t taste death🤷🏾♀️
I heard they are Elijah like in Malachi and John as Yahshua said if I want him to live until I come back what is it to you. Also Yahshua said John the Baptist was Elijah. So I believe their names will be John and Elijah. Also as John the Baptist wasn't physically Elijah, I think these 2 will have those spirits of John (the apostile) and Elijah.
I have believed for many years that it will be Enoch and Elijah and for the exact same reason given in the video. Those two men have the distinction of being the only people on planet earth for all time to have never experienced physical death. Both witnesses will experience physical death and I think it will be for the very first and only time they have ever died. If it turns out to be Moses and Elijah I won't be disappointed, but I still lean towards Enoch since he never died, but Moses did so he would be dying a second time.
Enoch and Elijah are NOT the two witnesses! The claim that they never died is a LIE, they both died on earth and were NOT TAKEN TO HEAVEN. (John 3:13) Moreover, NO MAN HAS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN BUT THE ONE WHO DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN, THE SON OF MAN. According to Jesus' own words, He is the first to be raised to Heaven, no one who lived before his time ever went to Heaven including Moses, Enoch and Elijah. They are still dead in the grave until a resurrection during the Millennium. See my explanation of the two witnesses above.
Moses has passed. It must be husband and wife. Not an angel or previous human that already lived. They played their role. Their legacy lives on. It’s about Christ though. The Father said “hear him”. May it be husband and wife. Amen 🙏
Here's something to think about: it's taught by many church leaders that Enoch never died; that God took him; that this event was supposedly a type of rapture. Many also think he is one of the Two Witnesses. But in Hebrews it tells us that Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Sarah all died in faith (Heb. 11:13). If Enoch was translated to heaven (i.e. rapture) then why does scripture say he died? Concerning Elijah being caught up in a whirlwind (2 Kings 2:11), which has caused many to assume he was raptured; to never see death, why does scripture show that Elijah wrote a letter to king Jehoram, who reigned after the death of his father Jehoshaphat, who was king at the time when Elijah was taken by the whirlwind, about ten years afterward (2 Chronicles 21:12)? Since Elijah was caught up to heaven by a whirlwind during the time of Jehoshaphat then how could he write a letter to Jehoram ten years later? The truth of the matter is that neither Enoch or Elijah are one of the Two Witnesses, for both died and are in heaven, including Moses, John the Baptist, and the Apostle John (Rev. 10: 11). The Two Witnesses are the gentiles and Jews that come to repentance to receive the true gospel in the latter days, which is a 7-yr period that lies on the latter timeline, the end times. These Two Witnesses shall witness after the Latter Rain falls, the second outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God is: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these Three are one.
It will be two new people from the modern age. GOD has never reused people from the past. The only "person" from the past that will come back in the future is Jesus Christ himself.
John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
I believe it is someone who really cares about Mankind and who wants to save them from damnation... i believe these two will be the final of the great evangelists...to me they sound like brothers...
I'm leaning towards Elijah and Enoch...Enoch would make a great witness (speaking in court terms ) bc he has "Witnessed" things the longest and has basically observed everything that has transpired since the time of Melchizadek(sp???).
Comments Add a comment... John Lester 5 minutes ago Zechariah 4:11-14 Then I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?" And a second time I answered and said to him, "What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out?" He said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord." Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth." Romans 11:16-24 If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree. Revelation 11:3-4 And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. Revelation 12:1-2 And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. Revelation 12:5-6 She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
Acts 1:8 says “ But ye shall receive power , after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you : and ye shall be ( WITNESSES ) unto me both in Jerusalem , and in all Judaea , and in Samaria , and unto the uttermost part of the earth “. That’s the same words in the prophesy of Revelation 11:3 where the two witnesses were given power . In Acts 10:39-43 and verse 43 the Apostle Peter said “ And we ( Apostles ) are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews , and Jerusalem ; whom they slew and hanged on a tree : 40 Him God raised up the third day , and shewed him openly; 41 Not to all people , but unto ( WITNESSES ) chosen before God , even to us , who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead . 42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people , and testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be Judge of quick and dead . 43 To him gave all the prophets ( WITNESS ) that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall have remission of sins “. Revelation 11:3-12 was prophetically written and it doesn’t necessarily say that two individual people are going to appear out of nowhere and prophesy . Revelation 11:4 says “ These are the two olive trees , and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth . That’s prophetically speaking of the Old Testament prophets that prophesied of the coming savior and his death burial , resurrection , and ascension and the coming salvation plan . It prophetically speaking of the apostles that were all witnesses of it all coming to pass . In other words the Old Testament and the New Testament church are the two witnesses . It’s still being a witness today by the preached word of God from both the Old and the New Testament by ministers around the world .
I also think the two witnesses are metaphorical because Revelation 11:4 says that they are “…the two olive trees, and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the Earth.” After studying and hearing,, I believe they are either the Old and New Testaments, like you said, or Jewish and gentile believers. Jewish and gentile believers makes The most sense to me, because they are killed in Revelation 11. The nonbelievers celebrate, and then the witnesses are raised to life (raptured) when everyone else sees and understands at that point. The 7th trumpet sounds (rapture) and the third woe, the bowls of wrath, are poured upon the Earth. I know that some will say the rapture happens earlier, but it is pretty clear that the last trumpet, the seventh one, precedes the bowls of wrath, and that the two witnesses are raised before the last trumpet.
@@L907-l2cMetaphorical just means something used symbolically to represent something else. This is exactly what the two witnesses are because they are not identified by name. They are “the two olive trees, and the two lampstands.” This is metaphor.
@KJ-us6he no it's not symbolic . Two olive means anointed by the Lord and two lamps means The true testimony of jesus christ is with them they walk with the truth.
@KJ-us6he ask your self this question? How does getting killed both and those sending gifts? Happy, happy that they stop torturing them , dead ? Then three and a half days later they stand up and both get called up into heaven ? Not everything has to be symbolic.
My question is this: I have my own theory regarding the Two Witnesses, but where can I offer it to people to see if it stands up to any scrutiny? It's JUST a theory, but I would like to know what people think of it. I just don't know where or how to present it. Thoughts and/or suggestions are welcome!
@@AreJay_ OK. Now I'm embarrassed! LOL My theory is that "two witnesses" is more symbolic than most people think. I theorize that the two witnesses are actually two groups of people: Christians and Messianic Jews. They will be shot and killed all over the world; that's why the whole world of people will witness their deaths and rejoice: everyone worldwide, will have a hand in the deaths of these two witnesses. After three days with them all lying in the streets---everywhere---then comes the rapture. Any Christians or Messianic Jews still alive will be raptured with those who were killed. I am NOT a scholar. This is little more than a "fan theory," but I am interested in opinions.
@@ajmittendorf yeah i had a similar theory but i didnt think it would be messianic jews but the nation of israel once they realize that Jesus is their messiah but there are a lot of people who have this same theory or similar. Look up AoC network two witnesses movie

I'm strongly thinking in my heart that the two witnesses are Elijah and Elisha they both did mighty wonders and deeds before the Lord! So I strongly believe it is both of them! Remember Elisha asked for a double portion of blessing of what Elijah had so this is why I strongly believe it is both of them that are the two witnesses
Have you ever considered Jeremiah 11-16 or Romans 11-17 and 24 as to where the two witnesses come from? One from the Natural Olive tree or Church of Israel (Jewish body of Christian believers) and one from the Wild Olive tree or Church of the Gentiles (Gentile body of Christian believers). In context with Zechariah 4:11-14 and Revelation 11:4 we have two Holy Spirit anointed prophets, one Jewish and the other a Gentile who should be the two witnesses. This is the only contextual conclusion from the imagery of the two olive trees. This would also preclude two famous past prophets since one has to be a Gentile. That narrows down the choice to just number 3, two as yet unknown prophets.
I've always believed that the two witnesses are Elijah and Enoch based on the fact that they have yet to experience death. God's power can be given to anyone He chooses to annoint.
I believe it must be kaal and kali, or someone who WON infinity? i agree, not all believers who are Sinned will be saved, Good souls will go to Heaven, not the sinners.
Definitely, based on the Prophecy of Malachi 4:5-6.. that Prophet Elijah will return before the End of Times... the second witness is everybody's best guess... In Matt. 17, Mark 9 & Luke 9, regarding the Transfiguration at the Mount, Prophet Moses and Elijah appeared to Christ Jesus... with this scenario, the best candidate is Moses and Elijah.
I don't think Moses would be it because it says the 2 Witnesses will be killed, meaning they will die.. and Moses already died. Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. - This means, Moses can't be it because man will die only once.
2:21 lack of specificity in Rev 11… How can you say there is a lack of specificity in Rev 11 when Rev 11:4 says point blank that the two witnesses are the two olive trees (Jesus, per Rev 1:5) and the two lamp stands (Church, per Rev 1:20). Obviously 2+2 does not equal 2 so the 2 represents the unity between Christ and His Church.
Insightful! It is true that God has certainly used his prophets in ancient times to fulfill His prophesies. Is there a church in our time that has prophets called of God, with proper priesthood authority, that would again fulfill His prophesies on the Earth?

This has to play out till the end for all to know, without a shadow of doubt, that God rules in the midst of the heathen, the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell in them, and that He is Lord of all! Joshua and Zerubbabel were the first high priest and governor- respectively, after 69 of the 70 week years- of captivity in Babylon, and the remnants returned to rebuil Jerusalem and the temple (Nehemiah, Ezra), and the land hadn't had any blood sacrifices for cleansing and atonement nor they themselves had been cleansed(which gave satan the right to accuse Joshua to God, as having a filthy garment, and watching if God will dare accept such sacrifices. But God, though still not having anything to do with Israel personally, sent His angel, to rebuke satan, and by GRACE, commanded a change of raiment for Joshua. (That same grace we have access to at this time through Jesus Christ) Could it be the same situation when Israel returns after God had scattered them throughout the whole world, and there hasn't been any sacrifices of blood for cleansing and atonement this far, and God raises up these two again as He promised? Haggai 2, Zechariah 4. Joshua and Zerubbabel were the 2 people in focus after Israel was restored from captivity and, are they the 2 anointed Ones mentioned in Revelation 11:4? We have been thinking they were Moses and Elijah or Enoch. What do you think?
I think the three prime candidates are Elijah, Enoch, and Moses. Elijah and Enoch because they didn't die, Elijah and Moses because the Mount of Transfiguration and because the devil wanted Moses' body. But it could also be two people from that time who are empowered by God
@@hargisP2Acts 3:22-24 is describing our Lord Jesus Christ, and Deuteronomy 18:18-19 is describing one of the two witnesses. Do we have any Biblical evidence of anybody ever coming back to earth after having gone up to heaven? I'm not talking about Jesus Himself but about mere mortals like you and me. Since the book of the Revelation is highly symbolic, do these two witnesses have to be two individuals? Could they be representative of something else? I have no personal opinion on the matter. I listen various interpretations and weigh them against what's written in the Holy Bible. It seems that a lot of things in Revelation have already occurred in smaller scales in other parts of the Bible. If the two witnesses are actual physical human beings, then there should be--I would expect--at least one episode in the Bible where a person came BACK from heaven. In Luke 16, Jesus wasn't allowing the possibility of someone dying, going to heaven (or Abraham's bosom), and then coming back to live on earth. He only allowed for His own resurrection. With this line of thinking, then the two witnesses must represent something else. I don't know. Just thinking "out loud" here. Blessings to you all!
The is a very very good reason why these two are called "the Two Witnesses" after all why even use the word "witness" to describe these individuals unless the word itself "witness" was somehow relevant in some way or another?
Very interesting 🧐. Bear with me as we try to come to a understanding that I am trying to figure it out so your opinions are valuable. If John the Baptist was Elijah in the Spirit confirmed by the Messiah, and he was killed. Could you find out for us, the time the disciples saw the LORD in the mount of transfiguration with Moses and Elijah, had John the Baptist passed away already or was he still alive then? If John the Baptist had been killed, than it would mean his true nature Spirit of Elijah went back to the Father. Could the two olive branchs always come back in different people to fulfill the Will of the Father and help the work of the Messiah? Just some thoughts 💭? ELIJAH -A DIVINE BEING- (YAH is El) - Hebrew form “Eliyahu” We know that Elijah was not from this earth based few on scriptures. First Jesus in John 3:13, "No one has gone up into heaven except the One who came down from heaven-the Son of Man” This was a profound statement when he said that NO MAN went up to Heaven; Yet, we read in 2Kings 2:11, “and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” JOHN THE BAPTIST - A DIVINE BEING- (Yohôhānān) According to scriptures, God promised to send Elijah a second time. Malachi 4:5. “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.” In the New Testament, Jesus was the one who identified this promised Elijah and said it was John the Baptizer. Matthew 11:14, “If you can receive this truth, John is the Elijah who was destined to come.” We see other scriptures that confirmed with hard evidence that John the Baptist was not an ordinary man but was indeed Elijah who came a second time. Matthew 17:10 -12, “And His disciples asked Him, saying, why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first? And answering Jesus said to them, Elijah truly shall come first and restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but have done to him whatever they desired. Likewise, also the Son of Man shall suffer from them.” Matthew 17:13, “Then His disciples understood that He spoke to them about John the Baptist.” Also, Jesus ask in Matthew 11:9, "What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet". Jesus used the term, “more than a Prophet” which is a mystery that many did not understand". In Vs.10, he quoted the prophesy and said, "This is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.” MYSTERIES OF ANGELS BORN AS HUMANS DIVINE MYSTERIES OF THE APOSTOLIC - THE STARS The Stars are a sect of Angels who are sent to the earth at a specific time to be born in human form for a specific task according to scriptural mysteries. This divine and angelic operation have been going on for centuries and will continue until Jesus comes back. These Angels born of earthly mothers are the sect of Angels called the “Stars” and are helpers of the saints of God.] These Angels are on the Earth as Scribes, Agents to the Churches, Aid of men, supporters of the righteous etc. There is evidence in scriptures where Angels took up human form, and even more specifically were born of human mothers. We are talking about people such as: "Enoch", "Elijah", "John the Baptist", "Jesus" who is not an Angel but God of the Angels; and few others who were not actual humans but came from heaven and materialized in human forms. DIVINE MYSTERIES OF THE APOSTOLIC- THE STARS - PART 2 SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE MOSES -A DIVINE BEING- (Mosheh) Elijah was a Star, and had the power of Fire, but Moses was also a Star and had the power of Water. Water always start things and fire finishes things, Hence, El Shaddai said, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Rev_22:13). He starts things with water and finishes things with fire because he is the water and the consuming fire. Water and Fire are the two most power heavenly elements in the universe. [Even the kingdom of darkness knows that]. So, let us explore a mystery of Moses who was a “Star” and a “Prophet of Water Power”. Moses was Noah. In other words, Noah who was a prophet of water and is the same one who came back as Moses the prophet of water. This is how the 7 Stars operates, they keep coming back in different form. First, all things are birthed in water; the universe, humans and even the Earth was born out of water. When things are birthed in water, there is a power that is concealed within. Exo_2:10. “she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.” Mat 3:16 After being baptized, Yahusha went up straightway out of the water and behold, the heavens were opened”, Mar_1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, the heavens opened, Jesus said in John_3:5, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water”. Water births regeneration unto salvation in the saints. Tit_3:5, “he saved us, by the washing [water] of regeneration”, Joh_4:14, says “But whosoever drinketh of the water…but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”. Also, in Eph_5:26, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word”, If we realize, the entire life of Moses was about water and was surrounded by water situations, encounters, water miracles and wonders i.e. He was saved by water; he was pull out of water to become prince, to mention, the parting the waters, turning water into blood, water from the rocks etc.] Scriptures reach as far as saying in 1Co 10:2, “And were all baptized unto Moses…in the sea”; therefore, because they were baptized unto Moses by water, when Elijah came back as John the Baptist, be used this same water to baptized, even if he was a prophet of fire. Why did Elijah [John] used water in the New Testament instead of fire? Because he had to continue the process of water for baptism and purification, because the fire was reserved unto the last days, (Mat 3:11, “I John indeed baptize you with water unto repentance.”) In the scriptures, we always see “Water” and “Fire” working together, for judgement and blessings. THE TWO PROPHETS Elijah on the other hand was Prophet of Fire- the last element reserved for the last days. This Power was reserved to destroy the Jezebel spirit in the Church of Christ. Jesus said in Mat 3:11, and Luke 3:16 “He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:” Mark 9:49 “For everyone shall be salted with fire.” Here is Nucleus of the Mystery. When Jesus was on the mountain, who came to him for the Transfiguration? Moses and Elijah [Water and Fire] Mat 17:2, “And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light. Mat 17:3, “And, behold! Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him”. Why Moses and Elijah? There are so many prophets and men of God in Paradise, why these two? Because Moses represented the Law and Water, and Elijah represents the Prophets and Fire. In Scriptures, “Jesus said to him, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment”, (Mat 22:37-38). VS.40, “On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. “ Jesus constantly used the term “the Law” and “the Prophets” together; Mat 22:40, Luke 16:16, Acts 13:15, Rom 3:21, Mat 7:12. As I said, in the scriptures, we always see “Water” and “Fire” working together, for judgement and blessings. Hence, we see not only the two Prophets Moses and Elijah coming to Jesus on the mouth, but we see in Revelation that two prophets are sent to the Earth during the reign of the Antichrist. Who are these two Prophets? They are the “Two Witnesses”, Rev 11:3, “And I will give power unto my two witnesses,” But who are these two witnesses? They are mentioned in Rom 3:21, “being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets”. These Witnesses are the same witnesses who was on the mount with Jesus: Moses and Elijah, the Law and the Prophets; the Water and the Fire. The Earth began with Water and was destroyed by water, but in the end, it will be destroyed by Fire. But there is a New Birth by Holy Water and Holy Fire from Heaven through the Blood of the Messiah Yahusha. Therefore, water and fire are sent simultaneously for Baptism, Baptism by water and baptism by fire.
This is the two witnesses and his work Revelations 11:3, Malachi 4:5, Romans 11:26, and Matthew 24:14....he is here in Israel,Africa the center of the earth Ghana: Genesis 48:16,Amen
“All men are appointed once to die” Okay so Elijah and Enoch broke that mold. So other people can break that mold. Yeah? Because we have all things pertaining to life and godliness (2nd Peter 1). Because we have a covenant of greater glory than the old
No, not everyone is going to experience death. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 King James Version 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Also, one of those two witnesses could very well be a woman. God Bless, Maranatha
Revelation 11:5 (KJV) And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. "And if any man will hurt them" (them is plural in Greek) "fire proceedeth out of their mouth" (mouth is singular in Greek when it would normally be plural; plural their singular mouth, yet plural their plural enemies) Why would the TWO witnesses be described as having one flesh? It is because they were married. What family is the only family on Earth that was a witness to the world before it fell?
Did Moses write his own obituary? No he had already gone up the Mtn. But when Det states that Moses died. Is than an actual literial statement? Moses did appear with Elijah and Jesus too
What if Two people actually have seen the devil? What if God told them not to run but stand their ground? What if that old beast trembled when God told them to look at the beast? If two people living today actually Know? Nobody will believe them their entire lives but the day will come VERY SOON for them to testify
Elijah was take up in a whirlwind. The chariot of fire separated the two prophets. Duh. 2 Kings 2:11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
No.., first the power was through shawl second Elisha didn't have anything yet as the other one Elijah knew that chariots was coming to get him so he walked cross river talking and explaining to Elisha. then once Elijah was in chariot in air he tossed his shawl to Elisha then Elisha struck the river with this shawl opening rift through the river. At that time only one at a time had the Lords spirits in them. first Elijah then Elisha.
Could it be that Enoch is a candidate for one of the two witnesses since he could represent both gentiles and jews ( as did the olive tree and lampstand) since he was the Grandfather of Ham, Shem, and Japeth? These three populated the world after the flood and from them came all the rest of the nations.
The two individuals are: ‘’The Gentile in the spirit of Yeshua and the Jew in spirit of Jesus’’ Both following GOD law and calendar 📅 😇 (thy chosen ones) the Lamp stand. Shalom in Yeshua’s name 🙏
I believe in the latter. because the prophets of the past have already done their jobs and I just think that God would probably use two people of our time. just my thoughts
The two who had power with their words and deeds were John the Baptist, who was the Elijah to come and Jesus himself as a witness against Israel’s judgement from Matthews 23. Both John the Baptist and Christ were identified as witness unlike the apostles… no real mystery here. John and Jesus died at the 3rd year of their ministry as well
Revelations 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Revelations 11:4 The corn. These are the two olive trees, ( The first advent. The spirit of truth within the spirit of grace/the last, within the beginning of the Alpha, becoming first ) And the two candlesticks ( The second advent. The spirit of grace within The Spirit Of Truth/the first within the end of the Omega, becoming last ) standing before the God ( The Alpha and The Omega ) of the earth.
Could this prophet really be John? He is the one who was commanded to prophesy again in revelation. So my question is when did he leave the aisle of patmos to prophesy again from that bitter belly after he ate the little book?
The Holy Bible interpret itself. in the beginning of the book of Revelation is the clue of who are the 2 Witnesses, thing that many Christians ignored. Christ say that He is inside the 7 Churches or Candlesticks AND THE 2 WITNESSES ARE 2 CANDLESTICKS. So the 2 Witnesses are the Angels of the last 2 Churches according to REV. 1:16 TO 20 AND REV. 2:1, 8, 12, 18, Rev 3: 1, 7, 14. CAPISCE?

So Jesus said that no one has ascended into heaven, except he who descended. And in the Old Testament, there’s a mention of Elijah writing a letter to a king 5 years after the whirlwind I always thought Elijah was taken up into heaven, but that would contradict Jesus and we know there’s no contradictions so it must be a misunderstanding I’m just curious as to your thoughts.
You are correct, Jeff. The fiery chariot took Elijah into the "heavens" which refers to the sky, the atmosphere where he was transported to a different area and a new assignment. He did write a letter to King Jehoram 5 years later Because of the wicked course taken by King Jehoram of Judah, Elijah writes him a letter expressing God’s condemnation, which is fulfilled shortly thereafter.-2Ch 21:12-15
The 2 witnesses are NOT people, but the true believers who worship God, who bows before Jesus as their Master and King and who lives for Him. In other words: the true Church of God - his children. Firstly you have to remember that the whole book of Revelation is written in a symbolic language and that the believers of the time the book was written to, completely understood the meaning of everything that was written. And, although this Revelation was written to them, it is still relevant to us in our day and age. Also, we can not read some parts of the book as literal and others as symbolic, because then we would be creating our own idea/message of Revelation. How would we determine then when it's to be read literally or when symbolically? You see if we look at the text this way it creates all sorts of problems and questions that is hard to answer. When we read the text symbolically, we can explain and understand the meaning. ● So, why are there 2 witnesses? This comes from the Old Testament as the "Bible of that time" where it is said in Deut 17:6 and 19:15 that a matter will stand/be truthful when two or more people (witnesses) can testify. No testimony will be valid if at least 2 witnesses can testify. So 2 witnesses imply the full testimony of the truth. In this case the full testimony of the truth of God's word. Therefore we have 2 witnesses. Also follow Mat 18:16 and 2 Cor 13:1. ● Why witnesses? Because the true Church of Jesus Christ testify about the Good News and they are on earth to live as witnesses to Christ and of the coming Kingdom of Heaven. The true Church is all over the world and testifies all over the world. ● They will prophesy for 1260 days. Prophesy means to make known the word of God - to say what He says and that is exactly what the true Church of Christ does. The 1260 days is number symbolism of which there are lots of in Revelation. Again it is intended to be understood symbolically and not literally. All of the following numbers mean exactly the same: 1260 days equal 42 months (of 30 days each) equal 3.5 years. These numbers means "temporary" or "partial". In contrast with 3.5 we have the number 7. Think of the 7 seals or 7 bowls or 7 trumpets in the book. The number 7 means "complete" or "perfect" or "full". So the scroll was sealed with 7 seals means it is "completely" or "perfectly" sealed. The 7 bowls are God's "complete" judgment over the world. Now 3.5 is also half of 7 explaining the "temporary" or "partial" meaning. So the 2 witnesses' testimony is temporary because in some cases in the world the Church's testimony is silenced - think of countries like Northern Korea or China or historic Russia for example where Christians are prosecuted and killed because of their testimony of Christ. ● Why are they clothed in sack cloth? Again this comes from the Old Testament where people/cities/nations dressed themselves in sack cloth and ashes as a sign of their mourning and eventual repentance to God. As example, think of the inhabitants of Nineveh when Jonah preached to them and they mourned and repented. Jon 3:7. ● "Fire comes from their mouths and devours..." - this reminds of Elijah's encounters with the messengers of Ahaziah in 2 Kings 1: 10, 12. It speaks of the power of the true Church's message to the world. ● "Power to shut up the heavens" - reminds of the drought in the days of Elijah. Elijah prophesied to a rebellious nation and that is just like the true Church prophesying to a rebellious world we live in. ● "Turn the waters into blood" and "stike the earth with every kind of plague" - reminds of Moses and the plagues in Egypt. Moses stood and prophesied before the rebellious Pharaoh to lead God's nation out of Egypt - exactly the same scenario as with Elijah. ● The beast will attack and kill the 2 witnesses: The beast is the Satan in the form of the systems of the world. World systems (governments) attack and silence the true Church's testimony although the true Church is God's property and cannot be touched, their message can be silenced ("killed"), but they belong to God and nothing or no-one will pluck them from His hand. They are His property. ● Their bodies will lei in the streets/public square of Sodom and Egypt and where Jesus was crucified. Sodom is symbolic of sexual perversions and low morality, Egypt is symbolic of political power, slavery and oppression (in the days of Israel in Egypt) and Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified, is symbolic of the false Church opposed to God/Jesus, also of spiritual immorality. So the true Church's testimony lies "killed" all over the world of sin. ● for 3.5 days. Again this symbolize "temporary" and also a "short time" in comparison to the 3.5 years of their prophesy. So the true Church will only be silenced for a short time and temporary. ● refuse them burial. Denial of burial was seen as a flagrant violation of decency in these times and it symbolizes the world's violation against the true Church's testimony. ● The world celebrated the death of the 2 witnesses. This symbolize the world loving sin more than God. The people of the world praise one another in committing sin and evilness and they take joy in things of evil and like to cover their works in darkness. ● But after 3.5 days God breathed new life into the dead bodies of the 2 witnesses. This symbolizes God's resurrection of the true Church and that their prophesy will never be totally silent. God raise them up to the astonishment of the world. Darkness can never cover light. ● Come up here. God calls the true Church up to heaven, where He is. It is symbolic of His judgment over the people of the world as they are left on earth, but also God's mercy on the true Church as they are in His favor and taken to His presence. ● The earthquake and 7000 people killed. Symbolic of God's judgment and again the number 7 symbolizing "complete" or " "total". It is the complete count of all non-believers or rebellious, evil people to ever walk the earth who will receive God's judgment.
Johan Marx, sorry, but I don't agree with you... Do you know that Israel had a drill a few months back (or a year of so ago) for when an earthquake will hit Jerusalem. Do you know how many "died" in that earthquake? 7 000... The exact number that we read in Revelation and guess what, that earthquake will hit Jerusalem in the great Tribulation. It is going to happen and 7 000 people will die in that earthquake. The problem with not believing what the Bible says as clear as daylight is that people portray their own ideas for a passage in Revelation and then end up making up everything as symbolism. It is not. You place the church in the great Tribulation, but the church, the true believers of Christ, those in this church age will be raptured before the Tribulation starts. The 2 witnesses will be killed and lie in the street for 3 days and then resurrected and ascend to heaven and the whole world will witness this event. People will even send each other gifts, because they will be so happy that these 2 men were killed. We cannot make up our own ideas regarding Revelation. Yes, I agree, there is symbolism involved in Revelation, but when the Bible says 2 witnesses will minister in that time, then we cannot make up our own ideas for the 2 witnesses and say it is a group or certain denominations or 2 of the churches mentioned in Revelation or the martyrs of that future time.
@@jeanettepretorius589 I would like to show you that the Bible itself gives the answer to who the 2 witnesses are. Read the following verses carefully: 1. Rev 11:3-4 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth. They are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, and they stand before the Lord of the earth. 2. Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches. Here we can clearly see that the 2 witnesses are the 7 lampstands (7 congregations to whom Revelation was written) and the lampstands are the churches.
@@johanmarx4415 you are trying to fit Rev 11 into Rev 1... You cannot do that, it is 2 different chapters that has no connection to each other, the church is not present when the 2 witnesses are here to minister on earth. The very fact that they will be preaching in Jerusalem, they will preach for 3 and a half years, they will wear sackcloth, they will be killed, they will lie in the street for 3 days, be resurrected and ascend to heaven, now tell me, how will millions of Christians fit into the description of what the Bible explains as 2 witnesses? After Revelation 4 there is no mentioning of the church, because we are not here in the 7 year Tribulation. May I ask which denomination do you belong to?
@@jeanettepretorius589 I belong to Jesus's denomination, because Jesus is not Baptist, Reformed, Apostolic, Presbyterian etc. Jesus is not black, white or yellow, Jesus is not American, Indian, German or South African for example. Jesus is God in the flesh. There is only one true Church and the members thereof are from all different denominations, skin colours, tongues and nations, so the Bible tells us. So denomination has no place in Heaven and is thus not relevant. What denomination did Jesus belong to...? What denomination did the early church of Acts belong to...? I can only say that it is crucially important that we read the Bible in context, otherwise we are busy reading our own ideas into the text... You say the Church won't be on Earth during the Tribulation? Well, tell that to the Christians in North Korea, Iran, China, Afghanistan etc. who are persecuted as we speak. Tell them they won't be on earth when things go really bad here... Tell that to the first Christians of the time and to whom Revelation was written, who were fed alive to wild animals like lions in the Colosseum. Why would God only save some of His children (us) from tribulation? What would be so special about us in this time, day and age? Why would we be the ones to be plucked from earth? Think about it... The Tribulation is already on Earth, the Antichrist too and the 'end times' already started with Jesus's ascension. Things will get harder on earth and Christians will be under increasing pressure till Jesus comes back to fetch His children and judge everyone that ever walked the earth.
@@johanmarx4415 so the disciples formed churches wherever they went, right, so going to church and being part of a church is a Biblical fact. The only problem is, there are so many denominations and some are just falling off the wagon with false doctrine. Why I asked the question about a denomination you belong to, is because the bottom line of staying in God's Truth of God's Word, you must have sound Biblical teachers that teach the Bible correctly. The Christians today and of past times suffered persecution and will face it daily, but the Bible clearly states that the 7 year Tribulation will be a time as there has never been before on this earth. It is a time set aside that will have God's wrath poured out on this earth as never seen before. The church will be raptured before the Tribulation, because God says we are not destined for this wrath. So the Antichrist is perhaps alive at this moment, but he will only be revealed when He who restrains, is taken out of the way. Now, I can really give you a few names of pastors that stand solidly on the Word as their foundation when they teach the Bible. Pastors JD Farag, Jack Hibbs, Tom Hughes, Amir Tsarfati, also Jan Markell and past Raymond Lombard. I suggest you listen to them and judge for yourself if they are in the Word, because I have an idea that you see Revelation just as symbolic. Do you believe that God created the heavens and earth in 6 literal days, that Noah built an ark, that Sodom and Gemorrah were real cities?
I think the two witnesses are the two angels that were by the tomb WHEN JESUS ROSE FROM DEATH, We were never informed of their names. I don't know, just a theory 🤔
@@ScriptureConsolidated I don't even know what they are I'm assuming it's something written that may be useful to assist me reading scripture? (btw I know what the witnesses are and I know what the lampstands/olive trees represent)
Yea no he don't who they are and he definitely don't their name for they have not been revealed until great tribulation starts. The rest is just all nonsense. and I highly doubt it's Elijah, Moses, Enoch.
You made a statement that the witnesses are not mentioned, or the Bible does not say who these witnesses are. But the Bible is very clear as to who these witnesses are. They are Judah and Israel. It is stated right here from Isaiah. Read it for yourselves. And those 1260 days are years as mentioned, "I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year." The principle is that a day is equal to a year in prophetic language. Ezekiel 4:6 1 "But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine." 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me," Isaiah 43
Right now I'm studying revelation and I'm wondering is it something to fathom or vision literally or is this a book that is by an allegory? Why answers can help. I do not attend any church. I left the Mormon church they don't teach the same as the Bible. They have their own bible and teaching.
Hear me out, Enoch and and Elijah did not die yes but a lot of people will also be taken up in a cloud in a blink of an eye when Jesus comes back with the rapture so Enoch and Elijah will not be the only ones who did not die before going to heaven.

The two WITNESSES come in the SPIRT of Moses and Elijah. They proclaim their message in the GREAT CITY Babylon which is worldwide. Rev 11 is CLEAR. They are NOT 2 individuals. The Beast makes WAR with them. They are the LAMPSTANDS -the church. And the OLIVE TREES -Israel. God has called BOTH of His covenant people His WITNESSES.
Wise, please understand there is but ONE Body of Christ with Jews and non-Jews having EQUAL standing before God. True Jews are no longer determined by birth DNA, they are by a circumcised heart thru Jesus Christ alone. The Lord does NOT have 2 people, only ONE with total equality thru Jesus' shed blood on the cross. To say 2 denies all of the NT.
@@bert-cq3ij So do you take this literally?? There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3.28 Read Romans ch 11. We, Christians, are the branches grafted into the root, Israel." Jews (the olive tress) and Christians (the lampstands) have BOTH been called to be God's witnesses!! The lampstands require olive oil to burn. The olive trees need a vessel to contain them. We are the TWO covenant people, together, with a unified voice and a complementay message. “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Jesus & His Disciples Last Meeting, the Great Commission, and Jesus' Accension FAR UP IN Galilee, away from the reach of their enemies, a group of men and women met together on a mountain-side and waited for the appearance of their Lord. And Jesus came to them there, and talked in other days. And they rejoiced to see him once more and worshiped him but some doubted that he was really the same Jesus who had been nailed to the cross. One day after this meeting some of the disciples who had been fishermen returned to the Sea of Galilee. The familiar sight of the water and fishing-boats floating about on the surface stirred within Peter's heart a desire to again go fishing. So he told his companions, and they said, "We will go with you." All that night the men stayed in their ship, toiling with their net but not one fish did they catch. When morning came they drew near to the shore and saw a stranger standing there beside a fire of coals. He called to them and asked whether they had any fish. They replied that they had caught none, and he bade them cast their net into the water once more, this time on the right side of the ship. They obeyed, and now the net was filled. John, the disciple who often went with Peter and James, now whispered to his companions, "It is the Lord." And immediately Peter wrapped his fisher's coat about his body and jumped overboard to swim to shore, so eager was he to come to Jesus. The others remained in the ship and brought it to the landing. Then Jesus commanded them to bring some of the fish they had caught, and Peter drew the net from out of the water. In it they had taken one hundred and fifty-three large fishes, yet the net was not broken. Then Jesus asked the men to come and eat, for he had already prepared fish and bread on the burning colas. After they had eaten, Jesus talked with Simon Peter, the disciple who had denied him at the time of his trial. He asked Simon three times if he loved him, and each time Simon replied, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Simon believed that Jesus knew all things, and he felt sad because Jesus asked him this same question the third time. Then he remembered how only a short while ago he had denied three times that he ever knew Jesus. Now he declared three times that he loved him, and Jesus told him to feed his lambs and sheep. Simon Peter had heard Jesus speak a parable one day about the Good shepherd, who gave his life for his sheep. And he knew that Jesus had called himself the Good Shepherd. Now he understood that Jesus had died for the sins of the people, and he believed that men and women were the sheep whom Jesus meant that he should feed. Not their bodies, but their souls were hungry to be fed, and Jesus wanted Peter to leave his work as a fisherman and become a preacher of the gospel. In this way he could feed the people. Then Jesus told Peter words like these: "When you were a young man you went wherever you wished, but when you shall become an old man you shall stretch out your hands and another shall carry you where you do not wish to go." By these words he meant that when Peter should grow old he would be put to death because he loved Jesus. Then he said to Peter, "Follow me." Simon Peter turned about and saw John standing by. At once he asked, "Lord, what shall this man do?" But Jesus said, "Never mind about John's work see that you follow me." Forty days passed by, and during these days Jesus often spoke with his disciples about the kingdom of God. Still they did not understand that it would not be an earthly kingdom, like the kingdom of David had been. At last the time came for their farewell-meeting. During this time Jesus appeared to his disciples and "when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." While they talked earnestly together, Jesus said, "John the Baptist baptized you with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit in a few days." And some of the disciples asked, "Will you at that time restore the kingdom of Israel?" But Jesus said, "It is not for you to know the plans of the heavenly Father but you shall receive power from heaven when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and this power will cause you to witness boldly to me in Jerusalem, in all the country of Judah, in Samaria, and in the farthest parts of the world. But do not go away from Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit is given to you." While Jesus talked to them they were standing together on the Mount of Olives, and suddenly the disciples saw him being caught up into heaven. They watched until he disappeared from sight in bright clouds, after which they saw him no more. But still they stood gazing upward, hoping to catch one more glimpse of their departing Lord. Then two angels came and stood beside them, clothed in beautiful garments of white. They said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven will come again in the same manner as he went away." Then they left the place and went into Jerusalem, into a room up-stairs, where they met together with other friends of Jesus to wait and pray until the promised Comforter should be given to them. No longer were they sorrowing for now great joy filled their hearts because they knew that Jesus was really the Christ.
You fail to realize that neither Moses or Elijah or any human has power to do miracles. God does the miracles, just as Peter confessed about the lame man at the Temple. It wasn’t by his power by which it was done.
@@NTZCh7 my opinion is it won’t matter to me because I won’t be present. It will be two men. Some think that they will be two that have not died, being that they will be killed, and the Bible says that man shall die once then the judgement. Otherwise they would be on their second death. Who ever it is God has the power to have it work for His purpose.
One of the witness has to lead the first generation of Jews to the promised land and the other had to declare the power of God against Baal for God word is a living word against Baal an idol. The 2 men also have to be at the transfiguration to witness Jesus Christ face to face to see who they were preaching during their earthly life and they were a witness of his crucifixion before it actually happened.

Our sins glorify Jesus christ .
wow very interesting, i really wish that Lord Jesus comes soon and take all his people with him :)
To fix the chaos in the world too
AMEN to that.
Hebrews Chapter 11 clearly says that Enoch died without receiving the promise of eternal life…read the whole chapter
@@oab777 Hebrews 11:5 literally said “Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death” please read that chapter carefully. It clearly tells us the man didn’t taste death🤷🏾♀️
@@b.eunice read until the end of the chapter please!
God never brings back old servants he will pick 2 people from modern times
He did at the transfiguration of Christ ;)
2 people from modern times exactly, you are right.
I think, he will pick two person..
Wow, this further confirms that John may be one of them. I’m not sure if he died…….
I believe it is someone who really cares about Mankind and who wants to save them from damnation... i believe these two will be the final of the great evangelists...to me they sound like brothers...
these two witnesses are probably Saints Peter and Paul
I'm leaning towards Elijah and Enoch...Enoch would make a great witness (speaking in court terms ) bc he has "Witnessed" things the longest and has basically observed everything that has transpired since the time of Melchizadek(sp???).

Zechariah 4:11-14 Then I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?" And a second time I answered and said to him, "What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out?" He said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" I said, "No, my lord." Then he said, "These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth."
Romans 11:16-24 If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

@@katrinaturner8194Believe me it's not metaphorical.

LOL
My theory is that "two witnesses" is more symbolic than most people think.
This is little more than a "fan theory," but I am interested in opinions.

what are the possibilities that the two witnesses would be of this age? or a believer God goes to and tells them to do it?
It will be two people of this Age that are Chosen by God and Heavily Anoited with His Holy Spirit.
In the end we don't know. It will be whoever the Father deems fit to choose.
They are not two individuals but two groups.
Two groups and more specifically Israel and Judah. Look it up in Isaiah 43
Agreed
I've always believed that the two witnesses are Elijah and Enoch based on the fact that they have yet to experience death. God's power can be given to anyone He chooses to annoint.
The time is now.

Moses and Elijah will be here shortly
Thank you
Moses and Eljiah, of course.
I don't think Moses would be it because it says the 2 Witnesses will be killed, meaning they will die.. and Moses already died.
Hebrews 9:27 - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. - This means, Moses can't be it because man will die only once.
Just live right, If God wanted you to know who they were, he would have told you.
I'm sure some get dreams and visions of who they are if they asked God🤷♂️
2:21 lack of specificity in Rev 11…
How can you say there is a lack of specificity in Rev 11 when Rev 11:4 says point blank that the two witnesses are the two olive trees (Jesus, per Rev 1:5) and the two lamp stands (Church, per Rev 1:20).

They signifed the end of law and the beginning of the promise of coming grace, through faith, in the coming Messiah, and also heralded the advent of the Messiah, Zechariah 14, and the conclusion of the world system, and the establishment of the Millennium reign and the final judgment, and the new heaven and earth- Isaiah 65, Revelation chapters 19-21; Isaiah 66:24; Lastly- the rewards Revelation 22.
The Lord never leaves any thing hanging. The two books of Ezra and Nehemiah were the only ones not concluded, as the 70th week year will continue from where they stopped and the book was shut in Daniel 12:4. God always performs and perfects His purposes and promises. He is Faithful and True, He has exalted His word above all His name, so none of His word will go back to Him void!
(That same grace we have access to at this time through Jesus Christ)
Could it be the same situation when Israel returns after God had scattered them throughout the whole world, and there hasn't been any sacrifices of blood for cleansing and atonement this far, and God raises up these two again as He promised?
Haggai 2, Zechariah 4. Joshua and Zerubbabel were the 2 people in focus after Israel was restored from captivity and, are they the 2 anointed Ones mentioned in Revelation 11:4? We have been thinking they were Moses and Elijah or Enoch. What do you think?
I think the three prime candidates are Elijah, Enoch, and Moses. Elijah and Enoch because they didn't die, Elijah and Moses because the Mount of Transfiguration and because the devil wanted Moses' body. But it could also be two people from that time who are empowered by God
Raise up a prophet "Like" Moses.

I also explain the witness/prophet like Moses in greater detail as well. I do not however support the LDS church, with their false prophet and false doctrines surrounding the book of Mormon. Shalom
Bingo! Witness just means to testify.
@@Handlethatha It does mean to "testify" but to testify what exactly?

If John the Baptist was Elijah in the Spirit confirmed by the Messiah, and he was killed.
Could you find out for us, the time the disciples saw the LORD in the mount of transfiguration with Moses and Elijah, had John the Baptist passed away already or was he still alive then?
If John the Baptist had been killed, than it would mean his true nature Spirit of Elijah went back to the Father.
Could the two olive branchs always come back in different people to fulfill the Will of the Father and help the work of the Messiah?
Just some thoughts 💭?
ELIJAH -A DIVINE BEING- (YAH is El) - Hebrew form “Eliyahu”
We know that Elijah was not from this earth based few on scriptures.
First Jesus in John 3:13, "No one has gone up into heaven except the One who came down from heaven-the Son of Man” This was a profound statement when he said that NO MAN went up to Heaven; Yet, we read in 2Kings 2:11, “and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.”
JOHN THE BAPTIST - A DIVINE BEING- (Yohôhānān)
According to scriptures, God promised to send Elijah a second time. Malachi 4:5. “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.”
In the New Testament, Jesus was the one who identified this promised Elijah and said it was John the Baptizer. Matthew 11:14, “If you can receive this truth, John is the Elijah who was destined to come.”
We see other scriptures that confirmed with hard evidence that John the Baptist was not an ordinary man but was indeed Elijah who came a second time.
Likewise, also the Son of Man shall suffer from them.”
Matthew 17:13, “Then His disciples understood that He spoke to them about John the Baptist.”
Also, Jesus ask in Matthew 11:9, "What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet". Jesus used the term, “more than a Prophet” which is a mystery that many did not understand". In Vs.10, he quoted the prophesy and said, "This is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.”
MYSTERIES OF ANGELS BORN AS HUMANS
DIVINE MYSTERIES OF THE APOSTOLIC - THE STARS
The Stars are a sect of Angels who are sent to the earth at a specific time to be born in human form for a specific task according to scriptural mysteries.
DIVINE MYSTERIES OF THE APOSTOLIC- THE STARS - PART 2
SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE
MOSES -A DIVINE BEING- (Mosheh)
Elijah was a Star, and had the power of Fire, but Moses was also a Star and had the power of Water.
Exo_2:10. “she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.”
Mat 3:16 After being baptized, Yahusha went up straightway out of the water and behold, the heavens were opened”, Mar_1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, the heavens opened,
Jesus said in John_3:5, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water”.
Water births regeneration unto salvation in the saints.
Tit_3:5, “he saved us, by the washing [water] of regeneration”,
Joh_4:14, says “But whosoever drinketh of the water…but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”.
Also, in Eph_5:26, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word”,
If we realize, the entire life of Moses was about water and was surrounded by water situations, encounters, water miracles and wonders i.e. He was saved by water; he was pull out of water to become prince, to mention, the parting the waters, turning water into blood, water from the rocks etc.]
Scriptures reach as far as saying in 1Co 10:2, “And were all baptized unto Moses…in the sea”; therefore, because they were baptized unto Moses by water, when Elijah came back as John the Baptist, be used this same water to baptized, even if he was a prophet of fire. Why did Elijah [John] used water in the New Testament instead of fire? Because he had to continue the process of water for baptism and purification, because the fire was reserved unto the last days, (Mat 3:11, “I John indeed baptize you with water unto repentance.”)
In the scriptures, we always see “Water” and “Fire” working together, for judgement and blessings.
THE TWO PROPHETS
Elijah on the other hand was Prophet of Fire- the last element reserved for the last days. This Power was reserved to destroy the Jezebel spirit in the Church of Christ.
Jesus said in Mat 3:11, and Luke 3:16 “He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”
Mark 9:49 “For everyone shall be salted with fire.”
Here is Nucleus of the Mystery.
When Jesus was on the mountain, who came to him for the Transfiguration? Moses and Elijah [Water and Fire]
Mat 17:2, “And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.
Jesus constantly used the term “the Law” and “the Prophets” together; Mat 22:40, Luke 16:16, Acts 13:15, Rom 3:21, Mat 7:12.
They are the “Two Witnesses”, Rev 11:3, “And I will give power unto my two witnesses,”
But who are these two witnesses?

Okay so Elijah and Enoch broke that mold. So other people can break that mold. Yeah? Because we have all things pertaining to life and godliness (2nd Peter 1). Because we have a covenant of greater glory than the old

Also, one of those two witnesses could very well be a woman.

Revelation 11:5 (KJV) And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
"And if any man will hurt them" (them is plural in Greek)
"fire proceedeth out of their mouth" (mouth is singular in Greek when it would normally be plural; plural their singular mouth, yet plural their plural enemies)
Why would the TWO witnesses be described as having one flesh? It is because they were married. What family is the only family on Earth that was a witness to the world before it fell?
Did Moses write his own obituary? No he had already gone up the Mtn. But when Det states that Moses died. Is than an actual literial statement? Moses did appear with Elijah and Jesus too
What if Two people actually have seen the devil? What if God told them not to run but stand their ground? What if that old beast trembled when God told them to look at the beast? As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

You, using Hebrew wordings, are totally confused...made no sense and didn't impress me.
I believe in the latter. because the prophets of the past have already done their jobs and I just think that God would probably use two people of our time. just my thoughts
Ask them yourself, they will be here shortly.
The two who had power with their words and deeds were John the Baptist, who was the Elijah to come and Jesus himself as a witness against Israel’s judgement from Matthews 23. Both John the Baptist and Christ were identified as witness unlike the apostles… no real mystery here. John and Jesus died at the 3rd year of their ministry as well
It is the office of apostle and the office of prophet.
Revelations 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Revelations 11:4 The corn. These are the two olive trees, ( The first advent. The spirit of truth within the spirit of grace/the last, within the beginning of the Alpha, becoming first )
And the two candlesticks ( The second advent. The spirit of grace within The Spirit Of Truth/the first within the end of the Omega, becoming last ) standing before the God ( The Alpha and The Omega ) of the earth.
The "two witnesses" are Elijah and Enoch.
Enoch (Priest & Prophet)

More than likely Elijah was given the prophecy before Jehoram was king and Elisha delivered it.
@@hargisP2 so what about Jesus saying no one has ascended to heaven?
You are correct, Jeff. The fiery chariot took Elijah into the "heavens" which refers to the sky, the atmosphere where he was transported to a different area and a new assignment. He did write a letter to King Jehoram 5 years later
Because of the wicked course taken by King Jehoram of Judah, Elijah writes him a letter expressing God’s condemnation, which is fulfilled shortly thereafter.-2Ch 21:12-15
@@hargisP2 Wrong.
But Jesus said that Elijah has already come back, but the people didn't recognize him, John the Baptist.
Read the following verses carefully:

You made a statement that the witnesses are not mentioned, or the Bible does not say who these witnesses are. But the Bible is very clear as to who these witnesses are. They are Judah and Israel. It is stated right here from Isaiah. Read it for yourselves.
And those 1260 days are years as mentioned,
"I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year." The principle is that a day is equal to a year in prophetic language. Ezekiel 4:6
1 "But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine."
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me," Isaiah 43
Right now I'm studying revelation and I'm wondering is it something to fathom or vision literally or is this a book that is by an allegory?
Why answers can help. I do not attend any church. I left the Mormon church they don't teach the same as the Bible. They have their own bible and teaching.
Both Fathom of vision.
The scriptures are more real than the things you see in this world

The two WITNESSES come in the SPIRT of Moses and Elijah. They proclaim their message in the GREAT CITY Babylon which is worldwide. Rev 11 is CLEAR. They are NOT 2 individuals. The Beast makes WAR with them. They are the LAMPSTANDS -the church. And the OLIVE TREES -Israel. God has called BOTH of His covenant people His WITNESSES.

Jesus & His Disciples Last Meeting, the Great Commission, and Jesus' Accension
FAR UP IN Galilee, away from the reach of their enemies, a group of men and women met together on a mountain-side and waited for the appearance of their Lord.
So he told his companions, and they said, "We will go with you."
All that night the men stayed in their ship, toiling with their net but not one fish did they catch. When morning came they drew near to the shore and saw a stranger standing there beside a fire of coals. He called to them and asked whether they had any fish.
They replied that they had caught none, and he bade them cast their net into the water once more, this time on the right side of the ship. They obeyed, and now the net was filled.
John, the disciple who often went with Peter and James, now whispered to his companions, "It is the Lord."
And immediately Peter wrapped his fisher's coat about his body and jumped overboard to swim to shore, so eager was he to come to Jesus.
He asked Simon three times if he loved him, and each time Simon replied, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you."
Simon believed that Jesus knew all things, and he felt sad because Jesus asked him this same question the third time.
Then Jesus told Peter words like these: "When you were a young man you went wherever you wished, but when you shall become an old man you shall stretch out your hands and another shall carry you where you do not wish to go."
By these words he meant that when Peter should grow old he would be put to death because he loved Jesus.
Then he said to Peter, "Follow me."
Simon Peter turned about and saw John standing by. At once he asked, "Lord, what shall this man do?"
But Jesus said, "Never mind about John's work see that you follow me."
Forty days passed by, and during these days Jesus often spoke with his disciples about the kingdom of God.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
While they talked earnestly together, Jesus said, "John the Baptist baptized you with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit in a few days."
And some of the disciples asked, "Will you at that time restore the kingdom of Israel?"
But Jesus said, "It is not for you to know the plans of the heavenly Father but you shall receive power from heaven when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and this power will cause you to witness boldly to me in Jerusalem, in all the country of Judah, in Samaria, and in the farthest parts of the world. But do not go away from Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit is given to you."
While Jesus talked to them they were standing together on the Mount of Olives, and suddenly the disciples saw him being caught up into heaven.
This same Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven will come again in the same manner as he went away."
Then they left the place and went into Jerusalem, into a room up-stairs, where they met together with other friends of Jesus to wait and pray until the promised Comforter should be given to them.
What's your opinion about the two men (witnesses)?
@@NTZCh7 my opinion is it won’t matter to me because I won’t be present. It will be two men. Some think that they will be two that have not died, being that they will be killed, and the Bible says that man shall die once then the judgement. Otherwise they would be on their second death. Who ever it is God has the power to have it work for His purpose.
@@hargisP2 I hold the same view.
No duh. Why you stating the obvious?
Why do I suddenly want to be one of those two witnesses? Someone help. I know not what I ask for....😂
One of the witness has to lead the first generation of Jews to the promised land and the other had to declare the power of God against Baal for God word is a living word against Baal an idol. The 2 men also have to be at the transfiguration to witness Jesus Christ face to face to see who they were preaching during their earthly life and they were a witness of his crucifixion before it actually happened.
1260 days are 3.5 years minus 15 days, really interesting.
Prophetic years are typically considered 360 days
