Yes there is so much need, it seems to me an issue of the flesh or spiritual warfare with the devil whispering in the ear distracting woman from a holy calling to lead women or children- are they not just as valuable to lead as men?? The bible even says elsewhere older women should train the younger woman. There is plenty of other work to be done!
Elder women can teach younger women how to keep their households and children well. Titus 2:4-5 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
And in teaching children, which include boys, they then raise godly, balanced, well rounded and mature men who will love and respect their wives, treat other ladies with honor and respect, and become strong and godly fathers of children (boys and girls) being taught by these godly women. The cycle goes on and on.
What about college ministries? Can a woman teach a mixed congregation if she’s not officially a pastor and she’s just teaching people at a college fellowship? Be honest, please.
I love this ministry because they pulled no punches on this subject & many others. Having integrity & a biblically consistent theology is not easy- but it matters. Bravo Got Questions Ministries! 👏
@@aerong1130 because if women are not allowed to speak at all then why are they asked to cover their head while praying or prophesying, as those things require speaking. also, it's difficult to claim that prophesying is not "exercising authority". this verse is central to most of the arguments in favour of women being allowed to speak in church.
@@baloyishane3223 you are correct. However, it does not address the apparent contradiction between this statement and the interpretation of the passage in 1 Timothy 2 that it refers to all women not being allowed to speak in all churches.
Sounds nice but not biblical. Must be the husband of one wife. Pastors are male. Follows the order of creation. Women are not to usurp authority over men. Being a pastor automatically expresses authority over people.
@@samuelgely4532 Well..well...in your haste to comment you totally missed what the OP is saying. Women that humble themselves before God will not want to be in the position of Pastor as, it is God's way for it not to be.
True, very true. After all why would Christians prevent someone anybody from sharing, preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ? Only Satan would want to prevent that, and Satan can influence people to prevent others from sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, including women who want to preach.

I use this ministry a lot to help me understand. They have never led me wrong. So thankful for their keeping to the Word of God and also backing up what they believe by Scripture as we are supposed to do. A great ministry and right on the mark. So thankful .
Hi Carol, I'm glad we're like minded on backing up what we believe with scripture. That being said, are you aware that there isn't a single scripture of Jesus saying anything like "I am God," which is taught as fact in probably 80-90% (my guess) of the world's Christian churches?
@slothrocket8540 If I said there's no "I" in "team"... you wouldn't take that literally, right? Same thing here. A lot of the language in scripture is nuanced like this. Here's what Jesus is saying: John 17:11 (AMP), talking about the disciples, "...Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which you have given Me, so that they may be one just as We are." John 21-23 (AMP), still talking about the disciples, ""that they all may be one; just as you, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us..." "... that they may be one, just as We are one..." You get the picture.
I am so glad I came across this video. I have been saying this for years to other Christians and some Pastors who were disagreeing with me about this. I showed them the scripture and they still did not believe. I looked at this scripture for years over and over and I always knew this was the right answer you said in this video. Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you Got Questions for teaching what the Bible clearly says in 1 Timothy 2:11-14. Culture conforming churches do not want clarity on this issue so they can do what they want instead of what God's Word says, but God has spoken and His message is clear.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Luke 20:36 For they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
@@strawberriesblueberries2258 context! Gal 3 is about salvation....not about qualifications for pastoral office! Without context you twist the meaning. Titus 1 clearly says...."husband of one wive". 1 Tim 2 is CLEAR and they are both about teachers
Excellent teaching!!! The best I have heard so far! My sisters don't get upset with me. If you want to know what is true and acceptable to God, ask in all humility and the Holy Spirit will reveal it to you.
It shouldn't be up for debate because the Bible is VERY clear. God has created men and women differently in their places and for a reason. If you break that created order that God has established, you break the Fifth Commandment. Men should not look like women and women not look like men. If a woman serves in a man's role, she dishonors her head. It is an even greater sin for a man to appear like an effeminate woman because he dishonors his Head, Christ.
To the women watching this, wanting to lead and teach: 1. Check your intentions (NOT your heart) to make sure it's what GOD wants you to do. 2. If you're not married, teach children in a Sunday school - you never know if those children have a Godly mother figure in their lives. 3. If you are married, teach and advise your husband. A Godly man will receive wise counsel from his wife and share it with a general congregation. After all, it's not your words or his words, it's the Holy Spirit's words. 4. If you are an older or widowed woman, teach younger women. There is so much need for Godly role models for young women. "The harvest is ripe but the workers are few."
@@bernhardtgerbrandt6021 Trust me...we God fearing wives do advise our husbands. They will listen to us, take into consideration what we say and as said, share should it be of sound doctrine. It's called a relationship not a dictatorship
The harvest is ripe but the workers are few ?, wasn't Jesus referring and talking about reaching the lost in this verse, because the church didn't come into existence until pentecost.
Great video right here. This should forever put to rest the evil spirits in people that get triggered and take a non-Biblical argument on the subject matter while pretending it is OK biblically speaking for a women to pastor a church or teach/preach to men.

Even Deborah the judge in the Old Testament was subject to the high priest, who was always a man. Consistently in the whole Bible, in each hierarchical echelon of ecclesiastical authority, there was always a man at the top. This is true for Deborah, Priscilla, and any other woman.
So you shall come to the Levitical priests OR the judge who is in office in those days, and you shall inquire of them and they will declare to you the verdict. Then you shall act in accordance with the terms of the verdict which they declare to you from that place which the Lord chooses; and you shall be careful to act in accordance with everything that they instruct you to do. -excerpt Deuteronomy 17 After Deborah decided, that was it. "Then you shall act in accordance with the terms of the verdict..."
1 Tim 2: 11-12 is not a matter of interpretation at all. It is a matter of ignoring scriptures. I just left an SBC church that I thought was at least mostly conservative. Women started leading church services (women who weren't even members) and that caused me to start asking questions of the leading deacons and pastors. I found out the leadership is not at ALL conservative but far left. The leading pastor told me "I support (Creepy) Jo as long as he supports Godly principles." You can imagine my retort. Needless to say that was the crux of the conversation and I told them to immediately remove my name from the member roll. Thank God I found a Godly church in 2 weeks.

“I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first then Eve; Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor” (1st Timothy 2:11-14)
See my comment in chief above, but does this permit men to 'exercise authority' over women? I think not. Our authority is the word of God, and we handle it as the Bereans did: searching the scriptures, not to confirm our post Roman Catholic church culture, with a 'leader' instead of a community of servants, but to find where we must follow it and not our culture that deprecates the gifts of women if they don't match our cultural prejudices.
You say this with a weird tone. Eve was deceived and Adam ate too…so NO God does not give men permission to exercise authority over women. For BOTH men and women, the ONLY authority they submit to is the Word of God.
@@StandUp777 Pastoring is not a gift, it is a role. “This is a trustworthy saying: “If someone aspires to be a church leader, he desires an honorable position.” So a church leader must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. He must manage his own family well, having children who respect and obey him. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall. Also, people outside the church must speak well of him so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the devil’s trap.” 1 Timothy 3:1-7 NLT Paul opens with saying that someone can aspire to that role, and that person desires a noble task. He has also already stated in the last chapter that women should not teach men, and thus this role is strictly for men. Jesus is the good shepherd, and he uses some men to tend to his flock in the Biblical role of overseer/shepherd.
This was really well presented, and lacking the aggressiveness that often accompanies this teaching. It also highlights what women are able to do spiritually, which I appreciate. Very well done 👌🏼
I started something at my church today. A second in charge for our region in the denomination came to speak, after that we held a meeting of sorts to talk about the pastor stepping down (he wants to, not because of sin). Everything was going pretty good until he asked if anyone held objections to women preaching, I was the only one who disagreed. It didn’t go down well, it hurt seeing that I hurt someone, but I can’t back down. Even if it means to be excommunicated from the gathering. I hope it doesn’t come to that.
@@SalsaSippin_ that’s because your conscience isn’t seared. It’s been explained multiple times in the New Testament that women aren’t supposed to hold that office
Sadly, my husband and I were given no option but to leave our church because we held to the view that scripture teaches that women are not to be pastors and hold this teaching authority over men. At first we thought we could continue in fellowship there by 'agreeing to disagree' on this issue but things were made clear when we raised an issue on false teaching being brought via the lady pastor. They would not countenance any questioning of the pastors leading and we were ' out of order', causing disunity and failing to display the fruit of the spirit. God has since brought us into fellowship at a Biblical church and we know without a doubt that God had his hand on us. We must pray for those 'trapped' in churches that practice error that the Lord gives them the courage to be Bereans and not be harmed by personal attacks coming from the leaders of such churches.
Thanks so much for making this. The way it's explained and the visuals make it probably the best explanation I've seen/heard of the Biblical truth on this matter. I am Pastor of a small church and just a couple of days ago I had a female "pastor" who is new to town, ask me my thoughts on this subject. I shared with her what the Bible clearly says, and she responded with arguments of what people and institutions say. As soon as one starts arguing for the authority of people and institutions over the authority of the Bible, they should realize they are wrong. It's not about men versus women, but about submission to the will of God.
Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered or appealed. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. A Judge was REQUIRED in scripture to judge only the hardest of cases. Refusal to accept a Judge's verdict on any matter, resulted in execution, according to Deuteronomy.
@@8784-l3b So your argument is that if anything is allowed in the Old Testament, then it is allowed in the New Testament? The sons and daughters of Adam and Eve got married and had children. Do you believe that is still allowed? The Old Testament says "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth", but in Matthew 5:38-39 Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. "Eye for an eye" is no longer the law of the land. Do you realize that the word "testament" refers to Covenant (binding agreement). So the Old Testament/Covenant requirements have been fulfilled through Jesus and we are under a New Testament/Covenant! In any authority structure, whether by God or man, the orders are to be followed until completion, or a new order is given. Jesus embodied the completion of the Old Testament and the new order of the New Testament! When Christ died for our sins, he put an end to the entire sacrificial system of the Old Testament - because the sacrifice of all those animals and the performance of all those rituals in the temple or tabernacle were pointing toward a great, final sacrifice described in Isaiah 53 when the Messiah comes. So hundreds of commandments and rules regarding animal sacrifices and priestly activity are brought to an end - “fulfilled,” as Jesus says in Matthew 5:17. By Jesus’s life and death - as our final sacrifice and our final high priest. Hebrews 7:27 "who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself." In Matthew 28:19 we read, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”. Jews and all the other thousands of people groups on the planet are supposed to be disciples. So the time is passed for God’s focusing primarily on Israel as his redeemed covenant people, which he did for two thousand years. “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke 22:20). The implication this has for the appropriation of the Old Testament laws is that all the laws which had as their design a ritual distinction between Israel and the nations have come to an end because those nations are now being folded into the very people of God, and the cultural stumbling blocks are being removed - like physical circumcision, like food and dietary laws, like the weaving together of two different fabrics that you’re not supposed to wear in order to show that there’s a distinction between Israel and the nations. Jesus says explicitly in Mark 7:19 that all foods are now clean for you. Deborah was not a Pastor, she was a Prophet, which women are allowed to be in scripture. There are important distinctions between the two. Yes, she was a judge, but making rulings in a court is NOT the same thing as being a Pastor or teaching men in church. The following two verses are quite clear on the subject: 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church." 1 Timothy 2:12-14 " And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression." As I have evidenced above, when there is an alteration to a rule from the Old Testament to the New Testament, it is the updated rule we are to live by! Galatians 3:10 says, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”). Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Donelle I post on this a lot. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. Women can have any valid position/title in our time. Complementarianism is a false teaching. Neither can a man 'pastor a church'. This concept is alien to the NT church; we have a body of differently gifted people all growing together. We have overseers who help us by teaching, organizing, prompting pastoral care of each other...there is no 'one-man circus' in the NT at all. The NT documents show men and women together engaged in the life of the church, the gifts of the Spirit are not sex-differentiated. Our current habits have produced the lazy Christian in droves, not a group all studying the word and discussing it, testing our ideas against it like the Bereans.

God bless you for preaching the true word of God. Feminism is taking over the world, and some churches. His Holy Word never changes, it is forever settled in heaven.
One of the best examples I’ve ever read was “Roles”, also illustrated in the Godhead: 1) The Father’s role is to set the plan for salvation, sending the Son. 2) The Son’s role is to proclaim the Gospel and die for our sins completing the Father’s Plan. 3) The Holy Spirit’s role is that of calling us to God’s saving Grace. Each member having equal value and importance (One God, three persons), yet each one playing a specific role. As such men and women have equal value, but in God’s perfect design have been assigned different roles.

Excellent and perfect precise Biblical explanation! Such simple and to the point answers to this important issue! It's my prayer that this ' Eye Opening Message ' brings about a much-needed change, in the lives of so many women who have not realized the value and necessity to submit and surrender their bloated EGOS in obedience to the scriptural instructions, clearly and explicitly written in the WORD OF GOD!! That beautiful song 'ALL TO JESUS, I SURRENDER, ALL TO HIM I FREELY GIVE' confirms the believer's willingness to voluntarily surrender just EVERYTHING, which includes one's bloated EGO!! Once the Ego! goes, it will become natural for the child of God to live in obedience to the word of God!! This will come true, when God's people humble themselves and in one accord, pray to our Father in Heaven!! Our God says that, HE WILL answer the prayers of His Children, when they truly obey Him!! Heavenly Father, THY WILL BE DONE! Amen!
Great true to the Bible teaching. I agree with what the Scripture says as you have adequately explained. Women can preach and teach to women, that's fine. There is no reason why that can't happen during the week anytime. Just not when it is a mixed congregation.
This video explains this very well, this can be difficult to accept for there are some amazing women of God out there good speakers yet God has a plan and we have to follow it obedience to the Lord
I know two women who serve as pastors to a church that has no permanent pastor. They are seeking one. But these two women are filled with the Holy Spirit, and they preach the gospel of the blood atonement of Christ, and people have been born again through their preaching, so how can that be wrong?
So, they're "filled with the Holy Spirit" while acting in rebellion to the word?? The Holy Spirit agrees with the word. He doesn't oppose it. The spirit of rebellion can also fill a person. And pride feels wonderful. The only way to test a spirit is by the WORD.

I'd avoid any church with a 'pastor'. Find one with a community of serving elders who are humble, kind, knowledgeable, both men and woman (see Titus) and not lovers of money: check the cars they drive on that one! Find a church where all are encouraged to exercise and develop their gifts, where there is real teaching: you know with workbooks, readings (of related articles and papers), eager learning of Greek to read the NT it its first language. The check on teaching is if young people get to college age and they know their Bible, the creeds and what they mean and can answer the 7 basic questions in ordinary conversational language: why do you believe in God? Why are you Christian? Why do you read the Bible? Did Christ rise from the dead? Why do you attend church? Why is there evil and suffering in the world? and Doesn't science disprove the Bible?

They also found that when a woman makes more money than her spouse (is superior) she no longer desires him. So yes, when woman attain this power or perceived power, it will most likely end in divorce. Obviously there are .ore factors involved but that is definitely true what you said
Absolutely. Even if they don't claim to want to rule over their husband, the "equal" to each other lie also creates divorce. Nowhere in the Bible is there allowance for arguments in the household. The man should seek his wife's counsel and get her input, as God can certainly speak through her, give her wisdom and additional insight he might lack, but that is not an opening for her to ARGUE her point or FIGHT for what SHE wants. Men are predisposed to both defend and please women. Paul mentions this as a reason not to get married as the man's primary desire will be to please his wife as opposed to focus on the ministry and serve God. Also, what was Adam's sin? He listened to his wife(out of a desire to please her) and NOT the command of the Lord. So the idea that women need to fight and argue with their husband or be trampled upon is absurd. But yet there is so much strife in Christian homes, not just worldly people's homes, because of this false teaching that the husband and wife are equal in their position in the marriage. Two headed creatures are always a gross mutation and of course never fair well, so it doesn't work in nature, or any organization, especially the home. Even Jesus is subordinate to the Father, and ONLY did His Father's will, and He's perfect, so His own will would be perfect, yet he chose to be submissive and obedient to the Father's will.
Because as early as the beginning of time, woman’s desire is to rule over authority with man. See Genesis 3:16 when God instructed women to have their desire be under men’s, but nature of women is to do the opposite.
@@brenthair1228Exactly! Sadly. They shirk their responsibilities. They leave decisions for wives, do not be the spiritual leader in the home etc. I keep asking my ( Christian) husband to read us the Bible, pray, have daily devotions, take us to church and he refuses.
Beautifully explained! In the small church I attend, there is debate about this topic, but the pastors are in agreement that women cannot be pastors. However, there have been cases where the pastors have asked a woman to share on a Sunday morning, especially if it is during the men’s retreat, when most of the men are out of town. on another few occasions, the pastor has gone to the stage and introduced a woman from our congregation, who had unique experiences or wisdom about the topic, prayed over her and then allowed her to share the message. The logic is that these women are not pastors, but are invited and blessed by the pastors, under their authority, to share. I grew up in a church where women were never allowed to teach, so I have felt uncomfortable with this arrangement, but I also know that I have a tendency to favor legalism over the true spirit of the law in my flesh. I would love to hear the perspective of other godly people on this. I don’t want to dismiss a blessing that God has for our church because of legalism, but I’m wondering, what does Scripture say about these cases?
them tube deleted my reply Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge's verdict could not be altered. Read time: 12 minutes
you wrote: but I also know that I have a tendency to favor legalism Encourage legalism. Our servants, the lawyers, were condemned by the Liar's son harshly in the New Words: But He said, “Woe to you lawyers as well! For you load people with burdens that are hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers. And even more: Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you hindered those who were entering.” The letter of the law kills, so let it do its job. Even the New Words say: But we know that the law is good,... So teach legalism. Teach that whatever a female speaks indoors has more weight than if she speaks it outdoors. Make sure "the pulpit" is a mystical place indoors, in their phony religion. Call it a 'sanctuary', whatever that is. If a female does speak from "the pulpit" be sure all in attendance know that she is only being ALLOWED TO SPEAK BECAUSE A MALE ALLOWED IT. My wife and I have been having such a hard time finding a church. Almost all of them we’ve been to have some form of women amongst the pastoral staff. We can’t continue to attend them. If they’re so open about ignoring such a clear part of scripture, what else are they willing to ignore?
@@8784-l3b Debrah was not a part of the post Christ church, which is what 1 Timothy addresses. Men and women are absolutely created equal. Having different roles as commanded by the Bible doesn’t equal inequity. I highly suggest you read Paul’s letters again.
@@flightTime123 It's not about roles. It's about men and women being perfectly equal spiritually. My short post 'Complementarianism' is below. Complementarianism That false and confusing teaching, that states Christian women are less than Christian men in a spiritual way, but they really aren't, but they really are. The complementarian teaching prohibits a Christian woman from holding certain positions in a church. They can't be elders neither can they teach men. So why is that? The false teaching makes it clear that the priesthood of the New Covenant is tiered. There is a hierarchy. Those that are higher, the men, can be in leadership positions, like elder. They can teach other men. Those in the lower tier can not be in leadership positions, like elder. They are prohibited from teaching men, because the men are in the higher tier. It wouldn't make any sense. A new believer is automatically assigned their level, higher or lower, at the moment of salvation, as a birthright. Their gender determines their tier. A Christian can not move to a higher or lower tier. A Christian that is in the lower tier (woman) is not allowed to complain of the tier she was placed in. That would be sin, because God made her a woman by His choice. She should accept and also embrace her position in the lower tier. A church, is either a group of Christian men or a group of Christian men and women. A church can never be a group of Christian women, because it would be a group of only those in the lower tier. It would have no elders. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. -excerpt 1 Peter 2 Since the teaching states that women are spiritually inferior to men, but they aren't, but they are, when did that start? But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer. -excerpt 1 Timothy 2 It started with the first woman. She was deceived, and sinned because of it. So we have a teaching that accepts that men and women are fallen beings. Both genders are sinful by nature. However women are different. They are lacking the ability that men have to judge if some situation, some concept or teaching is sinful. This inability was passed down from Eve to all women. It remains to this day. A woman in our time was 'lacking' from birth, even from the womb. So what can be done? Nothing according to Complementarianism. That is because an anointing of that powerful masculine being called the Holy Spirit, is just not sufficient. Even the Holy Spirit can not elevate even one Christian woman to the spiritually superior level of a Christian man.
@@8784-l3b men an women can be created equal but have different design. Scripture is pretty supportive of that. And again, you’re still ignoring Paul’s letters.
@@flightTime123 Any doctrine that is in opposition to what God actually did must be a false doctrine. A Judge had the authority, in scripture, to execute men for certain sins. If a man refused the verdict of a Judge on any matter, the penalty, according to scripture, was execution. God ruled Israel through Deborah, since she was a Judge. Taken from my essay: A Judge at this time, was VERY different from a judge in our time. The Judge was over the nation of Israel. But not as a man, as King, or as a woman, as Queen, because God was not rejected as King as yet. God ruled Israel through the Judges. Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars? -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 KJV Major modern English translations like the NASB use the phrasing ...whom I commanded to shepherd My people... [PASTOR - Origin: late Middle English: from Anglo-Norman French pastour, from Latin pastor ‘shepherd’.] In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation Also: ...since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, and since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. -excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verses 9 and 10 KJV -God speaking to Nathan the prophet
“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.” James 3:1 ESV This should put all of us off wanting to teach unless we are more concerned about being disobedient to God by not teaching. Not teaching is not a hardship but a blessing.
Women in the Bible with ministerial calling: Apostle Junia (Romans 16:7) Prophetess Deborah (Judges 4:4-5) Prophetess Miriam "Mary" (Exodus 15:20) Prophetess Huldah (2 Chronicles 34:21-22) Prophetess Anna (Luke 2:36-37) Pastor Priscilla (1 Corinthians 16:19) Deacon Phoebe (Romans 16:1-2) Yet, somehow, people still assume women cannot be Pastors. There's five clear examples of women holding a role of higher authority than a Pastor and another who was a Pastor in the Bible. What? You just skip over that when reading the Bible?
each of these can be broken down to show they're still not approved... Romans, for example, simply says she was well regarded among the Apostles, not that she was an apostle.. They knew her and she had a high reputation.. Deborah was only given power because the men in the nation at that time were weak and not obeying God. It was a very bad time for Israel. Had any other man been worthy he would have been selected. We can continue down through scripture in FULL context and see they're not Pastors, etc..
@@ryanbussell24 Never did I state they're all pastors. Moreover, how far do you go to twist Scripture to accommodate your belief? Regarding Junia, I understand the debate for there is not much detail written about her; yet, the rest of the women with ministerial calling have a full account on their story and that's not even discussing all women used such as Sara, Rebecca, Leah, Rachel, Ruth, Queen Esther, Mary, Joanna and Mary Magdalene, etc. Many men were called in times when Israel was in great rebellion. Do they not count? Have you read not about the Prophet Samuel, the Prophet Jeremiah or men like Jonah and Hosea? Which of the Prophets were called because men were great and obedience was flourishing? On the contrary! Yet, you state women like the Prophetess Deborah were not legitimate b/c men were weak and rebellious; despite the fact, that through HER, God called a man to liberate Israel from Canaan. So, were there men to be used or not? God still called Barak. Even so, Israel's sin was not as terrible until the time of the kings and the Prophets then, that we know of, were men such as the Prophet Isaiah and the Prophet Amos - do they not count since Israel was way worse in comparison to the time of the Judges? Which, none of these male Prophets held such role for the King of Israel and Judah were the ones who judged cases and made rulings. Only a woman, Deborah, was elected by God to be both a Prophetess AND a Judge. What? Did God make an error? Go down the list, and actually read, how God used these women as He does with any man He calls. The glory is not of the vessel, but of Him who fills it, be it man or woman. Don't change Scripture, simply b/c YOU find fault or error in what God has done, does and will always do for HIS glory and not mankind's. If you wish, continue down the list - considering the full context of the female vessel used by God. Truly, I'm curious to hear how far people go to change Scripture. Men are called to be Pastors, such as women, yet I've given a list of women with most having a higher role of authority than ANY male pastor. How so? The Bible has the answer, but so many DON'T understand, which is why His people perish from lack of understanding.
@@Man.of.God30 I don't need to twist scripture.. I can clearly read 1 Corinthians 11 and 14. I can read 1 timothy 2. Titus 1 and 2. And we could go into a LOT of differences.. New Covenant vs Old Covenant. The NT church has different rules than the OT.. This could easily eliminate Deborah, Rachel, Ruth, Esther, etc. A judge is not a pastor. Paul also never says a woman can't speak in prophesy. God selected Deborah at that time because there were absolutely no other options available. He had options with Samuel and Jeremiah, etc. In having to select Deborah there were no other options. Zero. But Deborah still had to answer to a man. Even if she didn't, one exception doesn't invalidate the rule. Especially if God makes that exception. God absolutely can and does use women to do many things. No one is arguing they can't lead other women or children. But they are clearly, multiple times forbidden from having pastoral leads over men. You can't be the husband of one wife if you're a female. You can't ignore 1 timothy 2:12-15. God can and will use women to do great things. But they do not and can not meet the qualifications listed in the NT to be pastors over a church.
@@ryanbussell24 I'll restate it for a third time: not all of them were pastors. A Prophet does not equate a Pastor - different ministry (same with being a Judge. Theyre different). Yet, one has a higher spiritual authority than the other. Its written: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." (1 Corinthians 12:28). Paul never said that a woman ought not to lead, teach or speak in a congregation. If that were true, than the Prophetess Miriam who, alongside her two brothers, was used to lead Israel out of Egyptian slavery, the Prophetess Huldah who taught the High Priest, other priests and King of Judah the Law of God, and the Prophetess Anna who spoke to the congregation about Christ would all have been in the wrong. However, they were not, for it was the Spirit of God in them that operated and moved. What Paul explained, which he didn't invent, was in accordance with what God established from the time of Adam and Eve after their transgression. That a woman, NOT women, would submit to HER husband, NOT the entire male sex, in and out of the Church. This does not include nor obligate the Spirit of God to not teach, administer or manifest His glory through the use of women. Since when does the flesh, or physical male form supercedes the will of God in the Church? It does not. Sincere question: from where do you derive and subsequently conclude that God did not have a choice but to use Deborah? It makes ZERO sense. But, HOW and WHY do you believe that? On the other hand, not even concerning women, does God NEED men to operate? If there was such a rule, than it was made as an "exception" many times (revisit the my initial list mentioned). There's isn't such a rule, thus I state that you're twisting Scripture. You even contradict yourself because you say they're allowed to prophesize, but then state they cannot speak?? Which is it? Yes or no? The Word of God doesn't contradict itself. You're twisting it, hence the contradiction on your part. Obviously, the husband of one wife would include the female equivalent: a wife of one husband. If we go down that debate than only Adam was kicked out of Eden b/c Scripture ONLY states that man was kicked out. As well as lust, it'd exclude women since it only reads that men should not lust after women. We can't pick and choose when one part means one thing and another means another. The Bible was made for the teaching, instruction and blessing of both men and women. For when we come to Christ, He abides in us and it isn't the physical form that moves in the supernatural but His Spirit in us, be it man or woman. This is spiritually discerned. So, yes, women, just as men, can also be pastors. "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:27-28). Jesus came to fulfill the Law, not destroy it. Things such as the burnt offerings and being stoned to death, etc. no longer apply. But, where does the Law change in regards to women and men in regards to their sex or societal role? It didn't. God still uses both men and women for all callings in ministry and married women still have to submit to her husband. What change are you referring that, you believe, occurred?

@@strawberriesblueberries2258 To answer your question, *yes.* If someone willfully goes against the words of God recorded in the Bible, then they are not truly obeying God. Women CAN be helpful in many ways and serve many roles. God created women for this reason: "Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him *a helper* fit for him.” God wanted men to have wives and not be alone, however, some people can remain single as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 7:8. Women, specifically wives, MUST submit to their husbands: "Wives, *submit to your own husbands,* as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior." (Ephesians 5:22-23) Truly, Jesus Christ is our true role model "Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
the problem with ignoring a verse, or verses in the bible, eventually just leads to a person to cherry picking only the verses that they like and ignore the rest. Do we believe the bible or not?

@@wordskl I have done that. I have another informal free essay where I look at several of Paul's teachings on various subjects. He didn't come out well.
I always go to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 on the subject of pastoral (and deacon) qualifications. "The Husband of one wife" v1 of 1 Timothy 3:1. says it all.
This is why I don't follow organized religion. Too many 'traditions of men' involved. I trust the Voice of God, His Holy Spirit. The Bible says that before Jesus's return young men AND women will prophecy and see visions. Thank you. God bless you 🙏🏼🕊
Thank you for a clear and biblically founded teaching on this subject, I would say that women that are offended by this message, should read what Jesus said in Revelation 2:20 making reference to the spirit of Jezebel. Do not be deceived and prideful.
You should be wise and not be so hasty in falling into blasphemy. "but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”- because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.” (Mark 3:29-30). A woman, called and backed by God, to preach in a congregation is filled by the Holy Spirit of God to fulfill the delegated task of the Ministry of a Pastor - just the same as a man. Discern which spirit is moving before making unfounded judgments, for it can cost you your own salvation.
@@Man.of.God30 we are talking about position of leadership in the church, and that’s not what blasphemy is, you need to do a deeper study on what blasphemy against The Holy Spirit really is. God is the one that made man first and Eve as a helper, nobody is less in importance, but God stablished an order, and that’s not a bad thing, we as women can evangelize and teach other women, but men are the ones that have to lead the church, and their homes as well. The fact that men are confused about that, shows the reason why the churches and homes are a mess nowadays. I’m not worry about my salvation because I’m obedient to my Lord and Savior, I believe in Him and trust Him, He submitted to The Father and was obedient to the point of death, and we suppose to follow His lead.
@@jeraea To say someone that is filled by the Holy Spirit of God to act out of demon possession or influence is blasphemy or do you not understand that either? The Bible verse I shared was EXTREMELY clear. The Pharesees criticized Jesus as moving by Beelzebub, while you infere that any woman who says to be a Pastor operates by Jezebel. How is that you discern not which spirit is which? And the advise given is highly related as it's in regards to positions of leadership in the Church, something delegated directly and exclusively by the Holy Spirit of God. Yet, to you, blasphemy is unrelated? I mean, if you don't want to heed my advise, that's your business. It affects me not. You greatly err. Men do not lead the Church - who made you believe that lie? God leads the Church, not humanity. Christ is the head, not man. "For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body." (Ephesians 5:23). Let the man be satisfied in governing his own home, for it's not his place to govern the Church of God. You make an interesting and complete contradiction at the end by saying to follow His lead - of course, Christ - but you previously said that men lead the Church. So, which is it? Do you follow men or God? It cannot be both. Men are not the only ones confused on this, women, too, by believing that only men can be a Pastor b/c apparently now man is in charge of leading the church. That's ridiculous. Followers of men will easily fall prey to the wolf b/c they rely on the guidance and the strength of the flesh than that of the Almighty.
I have something to point out a question rather...Paul said I forbid he didn't say God forbids. Could this be a preference of Paul or was this a command from The Lord. There were female Prophets. If a woman teaches and someone gets saved and have a true conversion is their conversion null. I'm not posing this question to cause division or an argument. I'm just provoking thought.
All scripture is inspired by the Spirit of God,whether is paul's suggestion or God's command. All of it is still God's word. . Jesus said i will gather goats to left and sheeps to the right. All those he said depart from me,they did heal people, they did save people in the name of Jesus but they were not working for Jesus. I hope you answered.

If we deeply study and analyze the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians (Gal. 3:28-29), which narrates, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither Slave nor Free, there is neither Male nor Female for all in ONE with Christ Jesus." Q1?... In what ASPECT did the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians relate regarding "NO DISTINCTION"?... Answer... from the ASPECT of SALVATION only... Q2?... Do the "Duties and Responsibilities" given to Man and Woman by God, have NO longer DISTINCTION in Christ?... Answer...NOPE... there are still distinctions between a Man and a Woman... Christ said, "Whomsoever DOES the WILL of my Father, is my mother, brother, and sister ... and will enter the Kingdom of Heaven."... Q3?... What is one of the WILL of God (God's Prerogative)?... Answer... Women of Faith must/should learn to KEEP Silent/Quiet in total Humility and submission to the Church of God in Christ... just like Blessed Mary, who is Blessed among Women, found highly Favored by God and full of Grace from the Holy Spirit, even she is qualified to TEACH and PREACH, kept her silent/quiet in total humility and submission to the Church of God in Christ Jesus till her death...all "Women of Faith" should walk-on her set of example. Q4?... If Galatians 3:28-29 covers all ASPECT of Equality (no distinction)... therefore, does this mean the HEAD of the Woman is no longer the MAN based on 1 Cor. 11:3?... Answer... Nope... Man is still the HEAD of the Woman SPIRITUALLY both in the Church and in Marriage.. while the HEAD of every MAN is Christ Jesus... Q5?... Can "Women of Faith" do anything in the Church of God in Christ?... Answer... Yes, God created the Woman (Eve) as the BEST SUITABLE HELPER (not slave or servant) for man, she can help assist man with the distribution, collection, donation, and contribution to the Church, and she can also do the Church's Gospel Choir with musical instruments, etc... but leave the Church MANAGEMENT, TEACHING, PREACHING, REFUTING, DEBATING, CORRECTING, BAPTIZING, and making DISCIPLESHIP to the "MEN (Elder) of Faith" for the Church of God in Christ... Christ gave the KEYS to the Gates of Heaven to a Man named Apostle Peter and not to any qualified women... Q6?... What if there is NO "Man of Faith" fit to be a Pastor/Preacher?... Answer... Have faith in God... God can make a way, when there seems to be no way... Prophet John the Baptist said to the stubborn Jews that God could make Descendants of Abraham out of the ROCK... the Rock is Christ, and that is why, Christians are grafted by God to the Real VINE (Christ Jesus) as the adopted Sons of Abraham... Perhaps, if there will be no more "Men of Faith," God will use a BOY (male child) to Teach and Preach the Gospel... impossible to Man but very possible with God. In conclusion, the only TIME that there will be absolutely NO DISTINCTION in all ASPECT is after the JUDGMENT DAY of God... Those who will be SAVED will live the Life of IMMORTALITY, with no more distinction between Man and Woman, Ethnicity, Nationality, etc., they will not get married to have a family of their own, and no more procreation... We will be as ONE BODY in Christ Jesus living in the New Heaven and New Earth with New Jerusalem, forever... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen and Amen..

@@racheal8062 This is an excerpt taken from the“Got Questions” website. “The Bible doesn’t explain to us Jesus’ reasoning, but displaying His sovereign power over demons could be one reason why Jesus sent them into the pigs. If the pigs’ owners were Jews, Jesus could have been rebuking them for violating Mosaic law which forbids Jews from eating or keeping unclean animals such as swine (Leviticus 11:7). If the swineherds were Gentiles, perhaps Jesus was using this miraculous event to show them the malice of evil spirits under whose influence they lived, as well as displaying His own power and authority over creation. In any case, the owners were so terrified to be in the presence of such spiritual power that they made no demand for restitution for the loss of their property and begged Jesus to leave the region.” When it comes to the dead burying the dead, Jesus was referring to those who were spiritually dead, and have no interest in God.
The topic of women's ordination has been a matter of debate in different religious organizations for many centuries. Evidence from history indicates that in ancient societies, there were respected lineages of female priests. However, as Catholicism gained prominence, it became evident that the priesthood became a source of power and wealth accumulation. As a result, only men were allowed to hold the role of priesthood. It is important to mention that during the time when Jesus Christ lived two thousand years ago, he treated both men and women equally.
1 Timothy 2:12 “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” Feminists hate God and His Word. If they loved God they would obey Him.

Very well explained (and I am a woman). This video also clarifies the unique and important work we need to do in our own role.
Very true
Elder women can teach younger women how to keep their households and children well. Titus 2:4-5 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
And in teaching children, which include boys, they then raise godly, balanced, well rounded and mature men who will love and respect their wives, treat other ladies with honor and respect, and become strong and godly fathers of children (boys and girls) being taught by these godly women. The cycle goes on and on.

But Adam took part in eating the forbidden fruit. They both were punished along with the serpent.
Then how can she prophesy? Where is the teaching gift called pastor in the bible? Please use common sense.
Also, people outside the church must speak well of him so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the devil’s trap.”
1 Timothy 3:1-7 NLT
Paul opens with saying that someone can aspire to that role, and that person desires a noble task.

Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman
can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really.
I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God.
In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation
A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin.
Refusal to accept a Judge's verdict on any matter,
resulted in execution, according to Deuteronomy.
Hebrews 7:27 "who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself."
In Matthew 28:19 we read, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations”.
The following two verses are quite clear on the subject:
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church."
1 Timothy 2:12-14 " And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression."
As I have evidenced above, when there is an alteration to a rule from the Old Testament to the New Testament, it is the updated rule we are to live by!

The NT documents show men and women together engaged in the life of the church, the gifts of the Spirit are not sex-differentiated. Our current habits have produced the lazy Christian in droves, not a group all studying the word and discussing it, testing our ideas against it like the Bereans.

A Judge was a pastor, according to scripture.
A Judge could teach as he/she gave a verdict, according to scripture.
A Judge could judge homicide cases, according to scripture.
There was no way to alter or appeal a Judge's verdict, according to scripture.

Your feelings and opinions don't matter. Scripture rules and your doctrine is false.
Wisdom you are right
1 Timothy 2:12 KJV: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
This could be the reason for so many divorces today. The woman wants the authority over her husband.
Wow. Great example. One study found that whoever is the bread winner is usually considered head, not gender.
My experience is that the husband has vacated his responsibility and the wife fills the void

Encourage legalism. Our servants, the lawyers, were condemned by the Liar's son
harshly in the New Words:
But He said, “Woe to you lawyers as well! For you load people with burdens
that are hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens
with one of your fingers.

The letter of the law kills, so let it do its job. Even the New Words say:
But we know that the law is good,...
So teach legalism. Teach that whatever a female speaks indoors
has more weight than if she speaks it outdoors.
Make sure "the pulpit" is a mystical place indoors,

@@flightTime123 It's not about roles. It's about men
and women being perfectly equal spiritually. My short
post 'Complementarianism' is below.
Complementarianism
That false and confusing teaching, that states Christian women are less than
Christian men in a spiritual way, but they really aren't, but they really are.
The complementarian teaching prohibits a Christian woman from holding
certain positions in a church. They can't be elders neither can
they teach men. So why is that?
The false teaching makes it clear that the priesthood of the New Covenant
is tiered. There is a hierarchy. Those that are higher, the men, can be in
leadership positions, like elder. They can teach other men. Those in the
lower tier can not be in leadership positions, like elder. They are prohibited
from teaching men, because the men are in the higher tier. It wouldn't make
any sense.
A new believer is automatically assigned their level, higher or lower,
at the moment of salvation, as a birthright. Their gender determines
their tier. A Christian can not move to a higher or lower tier.
A Christian that is in the lower tier (woman) is not allowed to
complain of the tier she was placed in. That would be sin, because
God made her a woman by His choice. She should accept and also
embrace her position in the lower tier.
A church, is either a group of Christian men or a group of Christian men and women.
A church can never be a group of Christian women, because it would be
a group of only those in the lower tier.
-excerpt 1 Peter 2
Since the teaching states that women are spiritually inferior to men, but
they aren't, but they are, when did that start?
But I do not allow a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a wrongdoer.
-excerpt 1 Timothy 2
It started with the first woman. She was deceived, and sinned because of it. So we
have a teaching that accepts that men and women are fallen beings. Both genders
are sinful by nature. However women are different. They are lacking the ability
that men have to judge if some situation, some concept or teaching is sinful. This
inability was passed down from Eve to all women. It remains to this day. A woman
in our time was 'lacking' from birth, even from the womb.
So what can be done? Nothing according to Complementarianism. That is because
an anointing of that powerful masculine being called the Holy Spirit, is just not
sufficient. Even the Holy Spirit can not elevate even one Christian woman to the
spiritually superior level of a Christian man.
@@8784-l3b men an women can be created equal but have different design. Scripture is pretty supportive of that. And again, you’re still ignoring Paul’s letters.

A Judge had the authority, in scripture, to execute
men for certain sins. If a man refused the verdict of a Judge on any matter, the penalty, according to scripture, was execution.
God ruled Israel through Deborah, since she was a Judge.
Taken from my essay:
A Judge at this time, was VERY different from a judge in our time.
The Judge was over the nation of Israel. But not as a man, as
King, or as a woman, as Queen, because God was not rejected as King as yet.
God ruled Israel through the Judges.
Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 KJV
Major modern English translations like the NASB use
the phrasing ...whom I commanded to shepherd My people...
[PASTOR - Origin: late Middle English: from Anglo-Norman French pastour,
from Latin pastor ‘shepherd’.]
In all places where I have walked with all Israel, have I spoken a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’
-excerpt 1 Chronicles 17 verse 6 NASB translation
Also:
...since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel.
“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.”

This should put all of us off wanting to teach unless we are more concerned about being disobedient to God by not teaching. Not teaching is not a hardship but a blessing.

Absolutely true I agree
Women in the Bible with ministerial calling:
Apostle Junia (Romans 16:7)
Prophetess Deborah (Judges 4:4-5)
Prophetess Miriam "Mary" (Exodus 15:20)
Prophetess Huldah (2 Chronicles 34:21-22)
Prophetess Anna (Luke 2:36-37)
Pastor Priscilla (1 Corinthians 16:19)
Deacon Phoebe (Romans 16:1-2)
Yet, somehow, people still assume women cannot be Pastors.
Rather, just say Apostle Paul was wrong, it's easier. @Man.of.God30

Amen God design for the church and family Jesus is coming soon
So if Jesus comes soon do you think the woman is sining by serving God? Women preachers helped me allot on my walk with Christ.

Amen and excellent presentation and interpretation.
the problem with ignoring a verse, or verses in the bible, eventually just leads to a person to cherry picking only the verses that they like and ignore the rest. Do we believe the bible or not?
I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God.
A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin.

I have done that. I have another informal free essay where I
look at several of Paul's teachings on various subjects. He
didn't come out well.
Thank you. God bless you 🙏🏼🕊
If you trust the voice of God then you would be trusting the Bible. Heb 1:1 and 2 Tim 3:16.
so you want to follow your heart and the sins of this world instead of trusting God's word

Jesus said i will gather goats to left and sheeps to the right. All those he said depart from me,they did heal people, they did save people in the name of Jesus but they were not working for Jesus. I hope you answered.

Thank you for your stand on this truth. It is unfortunate that there are so many rebellious women who call themselves Christian but are indoctrinated by feminism. 1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV
[23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. / REBELLION is idolatry because a rebellious person sets their opinion or desire above the word of God. Therefore they set up themselves above God. They Idolize their own desires and wants above Gods word.

If we deeply study and analyze the Epistle of St. Paul to the Galatians (Gal. 3:28-29), which narrates, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither Slave nor Free, there is neither Male nor Female for all in ONE with Christ Jesus."

What is it?
@@aran1162 Okay...so a friend brought up a question at the course of our Bible study yesterday.
She wants to know why Jesus cast out demons into pig's also knowing well that was someone's business. And what he meant when he said "let the dead bury their dead".
In any case, the owners were so terrified to be in the presence of such spiritual power that they made no demand for restitution for the loss of their property and begged Jesus to leave the region.”
When it comes to the dead burying the dead, Jesus was referring to those who were spiritually dead, and have no interest in God.

😂😂😂 good one 👍
The topic of women's ordination has been a matter of debate in different religious organizations for many centuries. Evidence from history indicates that in ancient societies, there were respected lineages of female priests. However, as Catholicism gained prominence, it became evident that the priesthood became a source of power and wealth accumulation. As a result, only men were allowed to hold the role of priesthood. It is important to mention that during the time when Jesus Christ lived two thousand years ago, he treated both men and women equally.
I expected a Liberal approach to the Bible, but this was very accurate..
Well done! One aspect that is often neglected is that the Biblical role of elder/pastor is misunderstood and is really the core issue.

There is such a thing as dead faith or believing in vain. This will not save you.
The Bible defines the Bible. When you see words like “the world “ you should do a word search in the King James Bible to see how it’s used throughout the whole book.
