TGP only matters if the GPU is exact same For example: rtx 3050 75w and rtx 3050 95w, the 95w one will give more performance but if its between rtx 2050 90w and 3050 75w ofcourse the 3050 is more powerful because its the newer generation in the same GPU segment [I took it as an example rtx 2050 doesn't consume 90w]
@@revelop882 yes but the point is that 2050 90w is probably going to be cheaper than 3050 75w with almost same level of performance. Laptop manufacturers know that most gamers are going to look at GPU series instead of TGP.
4th point is wrong, tgp isn't an indicator for a GPU's performance, it's the amount of electricity the GPU consumes. Older generation GPUs have very high tgp, but very low performance comparatively the newer generation GPUs have much better performance on a very low tgp. Instead of giving better performance a higher tgp GPU may reduce the battery time of your laptop. It's best to compare the per watt performance of the GPUs before buying.
imo, it's more important to consider clock speeds, core count rather than per watt performance.. cuz we need to purchase what we need. Also, it'd be a bit complex to include per watt performance when comparing because recent iGPUs(like 390M) are overpowering dGPUs (like 1660 super & 2050). It gets really difficult when choosing between laptops that have only iGPU but powerful one and ones with even more powerful dGPU but the battery life sucks

Except CPU advice, everything is wrong instead follow opposite advice if using intel. I'd recommend AMD or new snapdragon. SSD generation does not matter,RAM speed does not matter (size does) 3200 is standard, don't overspend for higher speed laptop GPUs are bad, make a PC instead, much cheaper. Less tgp (TDP) means less wattage means less cooling needed. Less power for more performance is better.

Ram speed actually doesn't matter, unless, its just nano second faster response time. High ram clock speed and high CL class ram...are not cheap.

Tgp is kinda tricky this days... Becuz new 4000generation of nvida give veryy high performance in low tgp so keep that in mind guyss

Except CPU advice, everything is wrong instead follow opposite advice if using intel. I'd recommend AMD or new snapdragon. SSD generation does not matter,RAM speed does not matter (size does) 3200 is standard, don't overspend for higher speed laptop GPUs are bad, make a PC instead, much cheaper.
Less tgp (TDP) means less wattage means less cooling needed. Less power for more performance is better.
Even linus tech tips weren't able to differentiate in sata,nvme and gen 4 ssd .I would rather recommend to go for storage size then generation
Even when you compare Graphics card a Rx 580 will suck more power than Rtx 2070 .Does it makes Rx 580 a better gpu?The difference is day and light

Mujhe online study ke liye and business ke work ke liye leptop leba h ,buget under 45 to 50 thousand me kon sa leptop best hoga.
I bought a asus vivobook x16 laptop as he recommended that most. After a year i’m facing screen flickering issues on HD content. 😂 so don’t go with low budget laptops. Put some extra money but purchase a laptop that capable survive few years.

Srif TGP se kuch nehi hota.... New generation ki Graphics Card lower TGP but performance vi acchi hogi saath me power efficient vi.... Jese RTX 3060 se 4050 power efficient hai aur performance better deliver karti hai!
