Hey Man, i've got everything working so far and just tried to play the script you gave and i got this error: Python: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\ (My file location and name) \Text", line 8, in KeyError: 'bpy_prop_collection[key]: key "Principled BSDF" not found' Any ideas on what this means and how to fix it? I would be very thankful if you could help me out :)
Perfect! You can actually change it to work with any of the inputs, you just have to go down the list and count. I think the script used 12 and 14 but that can easily change.
Hi @aYahron, I have found a way, but it is a bit tedious. You can watch this video of how it is done in Blender. The main issue is you have to know exactly what the terrain is so you can't just make one car that will work in all scenes. th-cam.com/video/qqYxh4-1uRA/w-d-xo.html
If anyone is having issues with the script just change the values inside the brackets from [2] to ["Roughness"] and [11] to ["Specular"] I guess they changed the numbering some time ago
“No 3D tiles were imported. 1 errors occurred during the import. See the system console” 😅 someone please help I did everything step by step and this is what pops up when I try to import coordinates
I have a 3090 with a 3950x cpu and 64gb of ram. I don't think it makes a huge deal for pulling the data from Google, since I think the bottleneck is google itself but I may be incorrect about that.
Nice video, thank you. Currently, when I reach Googles API page, it now states you'll recieve $300 free credits and wont be charged when you're credit runs out. You'll only start getting charged, when you activate your paid account.
SO glad to have Google Map terrain in my render. I was really having issues importing new pieces 17:41 helped. cracking a cold one for LL tonight
Great to see you back Greg! I've already made use of the google map terrain with Blender/D5. It worked well for me 👍

just wondering if there was a way to clean up the mesh before exporting to lumion
Could you do a tutorial on how to split the 3D Tiles into individual pieces?
Thanks for the scripts!
I've been looking for a way to edit materials automatically for export to D5, the time saved will be enormous.

Also I am making a version of this video specifically for D5 over the next few days.
Have you found a new way to import vehicle models and make the wheels roll correctly in lumion?

Can you post the issue from inside of the system console? It might be an API key issue
Welcome back!
What specs does your pc have? Just curious
