- 2020-2021 Audi Q7 achieve the coveted 5-star rating.
The passenger compartment of the Q7 remained stable in the frontal offset test. Dummy readings indicated good protection of the knees and femurs of both the driver and passenger. Audi showed that a similar level of protection would be provided to occupants of different sizes and to those sitting in different positions. Protection of the chest was marginal for both driver and passenger. In the full-width rigid barrier test, chest protection was again marginal for the rear passenger but other critical body areas were well or adequately protected, for both occupants. In both the side barrier test and the pole impact, protection of all critical body areas was good and the Q7 scored maximum points in these tests. Tests on the front seats and head restraints demonstrated good protection against whiplash injuries in the event of a rear-end collision. A geometric assessment of the front seats also indicated good whiplash protection. The standard-fit autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system performed well in tests of its functionality against other vehicles at the low speeds, typical of city driving, at which many whiplash injuries occur, with collisions avoided in almost all test scenarios. perfect for big familly, i already sat in a 2021 model and that was great, the leg room in the rear seat is huge, the boot too and the new interior design inspired by the a6 q8 and a8 is beautiful and perfectly finished. The prefacelift model's interior begin to show his age but if your money can't buy the new the pre fl still amazing

I just got the 2023 Q7 Prestige. And yes, the auto breaking is just as smooth as it looks in this video. It goes from 65mph to almost 0 in such a short distance but in such a smooth way…

This tests were conducted at speed less then 60,50,40km but in real life when accident will happen at that time speed of car will be 120,100,90km.
sanju gartan they crash with a speed of 60/50/40 at time of impact. Yes we do drive 120 but most of the time you break and the speed of impact will be reduced. I'm not saying this happens every time but these are the most common to test to give a realistic view

Why Car bumpers are not made of rubber instead of plastic ones? Have seen plenty of accidents where the car bumper gets damaged easily. A rubber bumper can absorb more impact reducing the damage.

My Q7 (fully equipped) never stopped when I was driving with 35 km/hr .. ended up into a pickup truck. It was supposed to stop by itself! But it didn't. Front end collision estimated at $45K and air bags did not deploy!

Men, those test are made with low speeds 45 kmh 65 kmh and we know daaamn well that is not the speed that u ll need safety features in !!! What about high speed when the risk to get into accident is high like 100kmh 140kmh or even 200kmh ???, i don t know but i don't think that this test with those low speeds should be even done !!!
Above 120km/h you're toast in any car, no matter the EURO NCAP rating. Maybe some supercars can handle such a crash, but it still involves a lot of luck.

I have a Audi q7 2k15 it goes to 120. I wanted to see how fast it went . The dealership said 2k19 go 145 idk if it's TRUE or not but that what they said.

32km/h side Pool test ist ein Witz!!!!! das würde ich mal mit 45 oder 52km/h testen lassen. auf einer Landstrasse mit 80-110Kmh kann mit keiner erzählen es würde ein Ausbruch auf die Seite NUR mit 32 Km/h stattfinden. Baum Umwickelungen geschehen offt mit mehr als 32 Km/h bin ich überzäugt. Wundern würde es mich schon. Wieviele Hersteller würden dann wohl durchfallen? 80%?
