As a tesla model x owner, im proud to say this is a car that looks awesome, is really fast, and is super safe! Recommend tesla model s for those with no kids, and a model X for those who do! The price for a tesla is worth it
A guy pulled out in front of my wife doing 40 mph (roughly 65kph), 3 passengers in each vehicle. All passengers in one vehicle went to the hospital via ambulance, the other no one went to the hospital. My wife and 2 boys slept soundly in their beds that night without so much as a paper cut because they were in the model x. Thank you Tesla.

@@refrweerf Its okay, I understand what you said perfectly. Tesla states a lot of things about their cars "fastes SUV", "Safest SUV", "lowest probability of injury in an accident". I didn't quite understand how you could simultaneously have the fastest, and safest SUV in the world... and safety isn't really something you can usually test. Unfortunately, my wife and 2 boys age 15, and 9, got to test the safety features and claims of Tesla...but fortunately, they are true.
One of the passengers of the other vehicle had to have surgery on her broken hip, and will likely walk with a limp the rest of her life...she's only a young teen. The older teen boy in the back seat had a severe head injury, and I'm not sure if he had brain damage. The driver suffered some cuts, but no surgery to my knowledge.
Again, my wife and kids had no injuries whatsoever, except my wife was a little sore in her shoulders from the tension of the situation over the next few days.
That is one of the best results, if not the best, side pole impact i've seen.

As stated in the comments, the dummy data is what counts. And one problem with less intrusion is that the car stops faster and that equals higher g-forces on the persons aboard.
Only one question: do Tesla all these crashtests with a real working battery?

Gleb Gryaznykh the reason is actually the main selling point: the rigid body panels. By having such a stiff body, there is less crumpling, which is actually a bad thing. Less of the impact energy will get absorbed by the car and more of it gets transferred to the passengers.

Craze _ FE4RR actually, not true. By having a very rigid and stiff body as the cybertruck is supposed to have, the impact energy is transferred to the passengers more as there is less of a crumple zone to absorb energy.

@@concorde4893 My understanding is the outside skin and the cabin are two different frames. So if you crash head on the outside body might not take much damage but the force is not transferred to the cabin. The connecting points that connect the cabin to the outside rigid frame are basically crumple zones.
Think of it like a suspension system. All a crumple zone is, is a way to prolong the impact time. More time = less force to passenger. You can do that many ways. You don't have to actually crush metal like every other car. In theory the cyber truck could hit something head on, deploy airbags, slow impact force to the internal frame.... and look undamaged.
