UPDATE FOR ALL: Lou from Stealth Outdoors and his team recently adjusted the strips for the Beast Sticks to a width of 4 1/8", if you purchase the Beast Stick Strips to cover your Beast Sticks you can use my method to hold the strips down but just roll and you should end up with no seam, you don't need to put much pressure pulling towards you as I did. Hope that helps.....Thanks Lou. Here is Lou's comment on the HuntingBeast Forum concerning this update: So after much internal discussion, we modified the size for the HB stick to 4 1/8" x 24". As you showed, you can make the original 4" piece fit, as you kept it taught as you rolled it around the stick. I don't think everyone does this, I know that I did not. I am definitely not saying that you did anything wrong, I mention all the time there is really no wrong way to wrap or silence a stick.
Thanks Mark! I watched this a couple times before doing the Stix, and then WHILE doing the stealth strips... The pick and a razor knife are very helpful too! Check out the buckle steath strip video also( now Uncle Lou includes a pice for the buckle bottom! Thanks Unlce Liu, always thinking of us!)
Thanks .... and the tape you use to hold down the Stealth Strips really has to be good to continue to hold on to the backing of the Stealth Strip. Have an awesome day.
One thing I saw on another video by the creator of Beast Sticks is to NOT have the stealth strips under where steps or tree anchors bolt on as it could weaken the stick...just a FYI
I did this, however instead of using a knife, I took a torch, a pliers and a drill that fit in the holes. I heated the butt end of the drill bit to super hot then just melted open each hole, This a better method because 1) it is faster, 2) it seals the hole. and 3) you get a perfect round hole.
+Crypto Creek thanks for watching the video and commenting. That’s another way of doing it. Also other have used a wood burning tool or I used the X-Acto knife heated up. Again thanks for commenting so others can see additional ideas.
@@MarksWorld-GetOutdoors You're welcome. I really like using the daisy chain amsteel for my climbing sticks. It's really compact and strong and fast to use. Again, shock cords on the ends make it super fast to wrap up when packing up. Good luck with it.

I agree that Lou is awesome and he provides an awesome product for us to use
That was an excellent technique!
My stealth strips are here but I’m still waiting on my five new Beast sticks
Did u get your sticks yet? They are awesome.
@@MarksWorld-GetOutdoors Yes I’ve got them. Put the stealth strips on them, and I’m still waiting for a couple parts, for my retractable Aiders.
@@_jurist retractable aiders where u get these
@@williamramsey4922 I made them, Amsteel 1/8” and 1/8” bungee, and 3/8” hydraulic hose.
That’s a great idea thanks for sharing. Not sure what sticks I’m going to get just yet but definitely going to do this 👍

Kyle I have the regular 24”... 22” between steps

Yes it would be a more solid connection, I have had mine one there for 2 1/2 years and no issues

I tryed this and it worked slick! I do not have a torch instead I used a heat gun and this worked very well to heat up the bit.
Be careful you don’t get that stealth strip material full of your scent.
I think I'm going to try you daisy chaining of amsteel... thank's for that video.
