The real problem was that he became famous very early, when he took up football in Brazil he started dating a very famous actress and when he went to Milan he started dating the daughter of the club owner who was one of the most important men in the country. He practically became a prince in a European country shortly after leaving a city in the interior of a third world country, in a moment football stopped being the most important thing for him.

He was better with both feet much faster, better with his head and great dribbler. In my opinion he had more potential than Neymar. In fact I would take home coming out of retirement and training for a year to lead Brazil's front line over any striker they have now.
