He was a fantastic player. Even though these clips are fun to watch, they don't really show us, why he was so exceptional. Sure, he was able to dribble and to carry the ball, but his key qualities were in his tactical awareness and in his defensive capabilities. We would have needed different kind of clips to understand his playing style and value better.

He was the master of reading the game and breaking up attacks before they even began.
