Don Zimmer didn't come to MLB until joining the Dodgers in 1954. Dodgers won Series in 1955. Super Speed was introduced in 1947, first styrene (plastic) case in 1949, 3 Super Speed models with different blade aggresiveness introduced in 1954, Adjustable Super Speed in 1958. This Ad must be later than 1948.

The date of this ad cannot be 1948. None of the razors advertised were in production until 1954, and all three together were not in production until 1955.

Great old ad, but this wasn’t 1948. Those particular models of Gillette Super Speed razors didn’t exist until the mid-1950’s.

Um..The Super Speed came out in the late 40's gents.

One was, but not the other two. All three were not available until Sept 1955.
