does this method increase the chance of getting ability patches? i beat 6 or 7 6 star raids yesterday and it never lets me get them at all. the fact that ability patches are 1% drops in only 6 star raids is so frustrating. it's borderline impossible to get if you can't increase the odds.

Yep. It's better to pick a mon that's resistant to the raid mons default type(s) not it's Tera type, unless both are the same. Some don't pick a mon that is defensively matched either, i.e. Def or Sp Def. Some just picks a mon that's super effective against the tera type without thinking about any of that. I've been that guy but I finally figured it out. Some people will take a while to get it but I think it'll get better.
I swear they just be trolling. Literally take pokemon that are weak against the raid pokemon.
Use a support Mon
@@scurbz111 tried support based on their picks and the raid Mon, but when they are picking mons that don’t heal, don’t do damage and get 1 or 2 shot by super effective attacks it’s quite difficult to win

fun fact: you can actually just press the "OK" button on the date change option and it will register as a different day :) its helpful because you can keep your same date/time as normal!

Yes. Actually the most consistent way that I've done is to go from the start of the date and just keep pressing A to confirm until you hit OK. You'll keep your same date, save time, and its nearly braindead.

So the date skip thing, moving the date forward is very inconsistent, but if you move it backwards by 1 minute, it has a much higher chance of resetting the raids
Make sure to have your map open before date resetting forward and also give it a second to fully load up (As in DON'T look at a raid, open up map, home menu, date change and come back all within 1 second) this works for me 99% of the time...........In a whole month of date skipping it may not work for about 1 or 2 days...slow down go back out and take it BACK one day and come back in and they would have changed and you can get back in the groove again.....hope that helps
This is actually incredibly tedious, I think I’m going to focus on getting the shiny charm first
I got the shiny charm not too long ago. In the first day I got it, I found 4 shinies simply by using level 2 encounter sandwiches. Farming the herbs is honestly a big waste of time and ends up evening out the time it takes to find shinies with an encounter 2 sandwich.
Thanks SO MUCH for this. I've been going nuts making specific builds for these raids only to end up fairly empty-handed half the time. I've finally got my hands on an iron hands, though. So, herba mystica, here I come!
I also recommend Flutter Mane, absolute beast against special attackers

Note: You can’t save before a raid to re-roll drops. I saw a tip that said you could but after doing the same Polteageist raid twice, it definitely gave the exact same drops (I also used a raid power sandwich [it was Ice so only lvl 1] so the extra 2 rolls were also identical on reset)
I don’t think 2 is enough of a data size to make that affirmation, even though it’s probably correct
I don't think the date skip is a glitch I think it's actually intended because there's no way to change time in game and a good majority of Nintendo games that run off the console clock have the capability to date skip.

More of an exploit than a glitch. If they ever stop allowing us to do it, the game will no longer be fun.
If it wasn’t intended then they would have made a way to not let you skip. It was in Sword and Shield and we still have it now, it’s definitely intended.

It’s not intended, they just don’t care enough to prevent it by having you set the time in the game itself. I’d still call it an exploit, although I use it myself.
I'm pretty sure that salty herba was from the additional 2 raid power drops. When I don't use raid power they've been grouped together in the drop screen
Well, if anyone comes back here, when it says "3 lettuce" you don't need 3 separate lettuces, just 3 pieces (which is only 1) so you don't have to build a tower
The day skip isn't a "glitch", but there's a much easier way to reset the raid dens. Instead of moving 1 day forward, simply move 1 minute backward, and then go back into the game.

@@mewmewmew2000 It shaves a few seconds off the process each time (and those seconds add up), and the game reacts to the change much faster and more reliably than the other way around.

Just a quick tip Osirus, when you want to reset your Dens and outbreaks it's easier and much more vast to change the time by minutes at a time, typically going backwards a minute is quite easier as you have more chances, I hope this helps you.
How do you have more chances and what time do you put your system to to reset?
@@canadianguy7291 any time as long as it is one minute behind you go back into your map and your outbreaks should reset (if you have 6 star raids those reset too) but time of day doesn't change your chances of getting a shiny

I'm still confused as to how it's more chances? If you skip forward the date the same # of times you skip backwards 1 minute you're still getting the exact same # of resets
@Rnstvr15 Each hour has 60 minutes. You have 60 chances to roll raids when rolled backward by 1 minute instead of constantly rolling day by day.
You don't need to skip a day u can just press ok itll restart the current minute ur on and it'll work 90% of time it's better then having your auto save jumping from day to day then back
This is so utterly complex and time consuming, despite being the "quickest method" I honestly think one is better off simply shiny hunting, with lesser powers, or just do raids online until you get your herba.
This in theory is great. After about 50 different tera raid dens without one of the 6 that I needed, I am not ok. No this is not an exaggeration
They make this shit too hard to get doing the 6 star raids with 3 iq teammates is hard enough but then there’s like a 1 percent chance to get it even when you beat it

I can't get any 6 star dens to appear even though I have completed the game and changed the time a bunch, and it still won't appear! I have no idea what to do
You need to complete the 4 star 5 star raids 8 to 4 times first then you will get a call

Rage fist doesn't get reset by the raid mon, it's not a stat change or an Ability. As for what the best mon is it depends on the tera type. Iron Hands is a great all rounder, Azumarill is awesome for anything weak to it, Miraidon, Gholdengo, Flutter Mane, Koraidon, Ceruledge...the list goes on, just google what the best mons are for raids, but make sure you actually EV train and hyper train and give them the right items and everything otherwise they won't be as effective as they should be. And get them to level 100.

First
I just do every 5 and 6 star raids on my map.
If, for example, you do a raid each day for the next 5 days using the date glitch does that mean when that you'll not be able to have the raids spawn at all for those days?
It resets every time the date is changed and is not bound by the date itself. It's easier to actually go back just 1 minute to reset everything on your map. Infinite resets regardless of how you do it.

Do these 6 mons for the 6 star raids 100% drop more than 1 Herba or CAN POTENTIALLY drop more than one?
They all have the chance to drop any one of the 5 herba’s. There is never a guarantee with any tera raid unfortunately I’ve done a bunch of these 6 mons in the past and had no drops but also had really good drops from them as well majority of the time it’s down to rng and persistence. These particular Pokemon give you the best odds for a single and multiple herba drops we currently have in game so it works out more effective for your time to hunt these for better results. Hope this helps

Either I've just been getting incredibly unlucky or they patched this out, because no matter how many raids of those mons I do, I rarely get any herbas, 4 star and 5 star
Same I have literally only gotten lucky with all the raids I’ve done and I’ve only received 2
5 star raids have a 26% chance to drop herba mystica and 6 star raids have a 28% chance to drop herba mystica, 4 star raids don’t drop them

How do you get the shrines icon to show up on your maps? None of the shrines ever show up on my map before or after catching the Pokémon
You have to do the history class stuff first, pass both midterm and final. Then you go around the school to talk to the history teacher in various areas. Eventually you will get the spots unlocked on your map as waypoints. You can't fly to them though as I've tried many times

That sandwich creation is unnecessarIly complicated. There are hundreds of sandwiches which you do not need. And the ones you need are with 10 eggs and 20 noodles. Stupid as hell. Post game and after getting the shiny charm they should add all the shiny sandwiches to the default sandwich menu. The recipes are on Reddit and everywhere. And the minigame itself is also terrible designed and unnecessary... but hey... at least there IS and option to raise shiny encounter rate. Congrats GF...

Not sure if anything has changed in the game but since i started playing again ive found so many of these increased odds pokemon 6 star raids and even with a raid sandwich ive never got more than 1…….ive done 6 star blissey and gengar raids and gotten NOTHING. Basically i find it hilarious i have crazy lucky FINDING these high drop 6 star raids but have terrible luck actually GETTING anything from them while u hot these other guys gettin like 4+ from each one? 😅
When farming grades it's much better to have NPCs while doing a solo, then human players who don't know what they're doing.
Bringing people who don't know what they're doing into your raids is a complete waste of time. They will continuously die and ruin your raid.
I recommend solo raids when you're abke, or find a few people who know how to play properly, and raid as a team.
The DLC needs to fix Herba Mystica farming.
Don't have to skip a full day, just set the clock to exactly midnight and go back to game, it will skip ahead to the next day of raids/outbreaks

@@mattycraig1544 At least for myself I disagree, half the time for me skipping a day only works if you fully close the game, then reopen after changing the date, not sure why, but changing the clock to midnight works for me without closing out of the game.

When I first started doing raids and getting herba I did a 5 star delibird and got 3 sweet herba from I was in so much shock took a pic and went for shinys lol

God it's so weird to hear it be called a 'date skip glitch' LOL It's not REALLY a glitch tbh it's just the way time functions, I think it was an oversight more than an accidental glitch
Literally not a single one of the Pokémon appeared in any 6 star raid after skipping a month and a half worth of days. 😒
You actually dont even need to change the date at all! If you go into the date and time settings and go to change the date but just click OK instead, and open your game up it will rereoll your outbreaks and raids.

Don't know why, but time skipping on my system does not work. My daily raids and daily outbreak spawns stay the same no matter how many times I "skip"
That was happening with me as well. I just save, exit the game, change the date, and boot up the game again and it works

You can just click ok through the date and time (or just move the time back a min if that doesnt work) no need to change a full day. Also not a glitch especially on a full day thats intended mechanics.

You only get one 6 star den a day and you don't unlock it until you have won the School Tournament in the Post game and defeated 10-15 3-5 star raids.
