A tabletop game of make-believe, adventure, and storytelling for creative kids and their families! For 3-5 Players with a Playing Time: 30 minutes. Suggested for children of Ages: 5+ On the surface tabletop rpgs may not seem like a learning game or educational for kids, but they actually are and can be a lot fun. Gaming will teach social interaction and problem solving skills not to mention their is math involved. These types of games will also push the imagination of children as well. A game like no Thank You Evil creates a great way for the whole family to play games together.

Nerdarchist Ted Can we expect a follow up on how the session went with the family? I'm interested to find out because I kicked this project but have yet to throw a mission. I'm definitely going to have to check this out. Iv been teaching my seven year old nephew to play 5e over the last year. It's been slow and I mainly focus on teaching him one mechanic or lore element every session.
Bradley Higgins This whole game speaks to and is designed with kids in mind. Not only with mechanics that easy for them, but storytelling that speaks to what kids like.

Heya, Nerdarchists, do you know if the game has translations for languages other than English? Because if I ever get to pass on my genes, or if my siblings decide to get children of their own this is definitely the way I want to introduce RPGs to them.
Chad-Solomon Dixon Well, WoTC usually does a decent job in localising stuff to my language, but I understand why they wouldn't translate D&D (not enough sales here), but I don't think this one is by WoTC.

I think it's a great idea. I really wish they had a young kids D&D like this game.
there actually is a D&D game that was made for kids. It's Monster Slayers, by Susan Morris, and it's available on their site. It's not as expansive, but is probably a lot easier for kids to understand.

yeah, true. I feel like there definitely needs to be more effort towards introducing kids / new players to rpgs in a non-daunting way.

Admire the dedication and that you're trying to improve and love you're experimenting but I don't think the cut worth the extra work. Having you in the same shot it feels more like a conversation. Perhaps a better use would be cutting to pictures of the art while you talk, - Just my opinion.
This game is not for me but it's very interesting to hear about - and Ted's modifications on them. Hope to hear more on your game,
We definitely have it mind to put in some related visuals and this would've been the perfect video for it, but we didn't get far enough ahead to do it this time. As far as the close-ups, we'll see what the general reactions are- sometimes people are just going to resist changes because they're new and then sometimes "the old way" was better. We'll kinda average-out comments and see where group-think takes us. At first when we changed our format to Video Topic, Intro, and then Discussion, some folks were vocal about the change, but that and other tweaks we've made have shown all of the metrics you can track on TH-cam increasing. -Nerdarchist Ryan
