Thank you so much for making this. The volume button on mine is broken, so I can only play at full volume. This video was a far more pleasant experience than I was expecting.
The video just reaffirms time and again how much I enjoy the quiet for real. PS: This is an Indian unit it looks like from the BIS certification on the battery! Hmm
I just want know that why this channel is so underrated with this level of quality content, i checked this channel is on youtube since 2006, someone please let me know.
They are commerically selling their disassembly kits and that is the main part of their business. This youtube channel is like an advertisment to them. So they don't focus on this channel much.
My wife just asked why I was being so quiet. I told her I was watching a very quiet teardown video. She told me I'm weird. I told her that's NOT fake news! Oh...yeah......GREAT VIDEO! Enjoyed it.
@Vyacheslav V. there is adhesive around the screen and a rubber ring around the sim tray however there does not appear to be any near the charge port the rubber ring should prevent water drops however any drops entered through the 3.5 jack or charge can potentially damage the circuit
I was forced to change my ear speaker. That you have to be really careful with the screen is really no joke. I have already had to open many of my smartphones, this is the first time that a screen broke. Although you can obviously see nothing on the display. Very sad :(
I really like the type of video. No babbling, no annoying music! But why the hell is he over turning all the screws? He turns them loose and then keeps on turning! He must have heard that!? Am I really the only one who notices that?
Question, can the screen be re-heated and placed back on when reassembling the phone? Is there an adhesive kit you can buy to install when reassembling? Thanks in advance
It's ridiculous that you have to go through all that just to replace the battery, the phone isn't even water resistant. This should of had a removable back cover so the battery can easily be replaced, same can be said for a lot of other phones.
For those saying that this video doesn’t explain the teardown very well: 1 read the text on screen 2 go to iFixit.com their articles explain everything in great detail 3 enjoy the ASMR

if the phone is plastic, and not IP rated, the whole plastic back should just pop out, and then screen should be unscrewed, like in old times
