Hi guys, another beautiful video! thankyou!....i've been following you for around 6 years and its been really interesting watching you grow in to adulthood. When i first began watching you were up in Chaing Mai, before you went to Chaing Rai, and you seemed so young....two little babes in Thailand. I loved watching those little videos of you living your simple but delightful life. You seemed so in love and living a dream. And clearly, you still are, just in a very different more adult way. A lot of those old videos consisted of you going out to eat everyday which was great, you made Chaing Mai look so good. You actually played a big part in me going to live in Chiang Mai for a time. And like you, your video style has changed over the years. I love what youre doing now but i do miss the more domestic daily vids you were once doing. But i know they must have been a huge amount of work, and your lives have changed so much. But one big change i noticed today is that i haven't seen Eden for months!! I know shes getting old but has something happened to her?
It is so satisfying seeing Story growing in this environment. Mom and dad, you are doing a great job!

Guys, I still think you are missing out on one fantastic region, Minho. In the coastline, check Apulia, Ofir, Esposende, Moledo...so many. Inland you need to go to Braga, Guimarães, Gerês...you will fall in love.

Have they closed the restaurant, Nau dos Corvos? Great seafood. This is making me 'homesick', since I spent a lot of time at Cabo Carveiro when I lived there. There (visiting the kittens and watching the winter sunsets) and Baleal. Even in the dead of winter Baleal had plenty of surfers. And yes J, when you have kids you do find yourself worrying about things you'd never given a second thought to. Sigh * Saudades. I imagine the Silver coast does go along below Peniche... for example, Areia Branca in Lourinha. But then, it's in Lisbon and not Leiria and I think technically the silver coast is the coastal areas of districts of Leiria, Coimbra and Aveiro.
Love your beautiful family.Story grows with every vlog. Please dont grow up too fast. I absolutely love the toddler stage. Your photography is stunning. Its thrilling to be flying over that rocky Atlantic coastline. I am moving to Portugal in a couple of years and I think the Silver coast will be my #1 destination. Your videos have made it so. They might be under too much stress right now to learn things. One's memory nor stamina works as well when under stress. They are doing ok. They are surviving well and slowly mixing into Portuguese life.

@@ianstobie 19:29 is some 4-5 years old footage where the child is tiny and probably a few weeks old. We can not see the dog in any of their recent videos which makes me think that the dog is no longer with the family. Where's the dog? What happened to the dog?
My favorite region. My family lives in Nadadouro, love it there and plan on moving there. At 10:17 I actually stayed at that airbnb apartment in Foz do Arelho in April 😂

Great first image from the drone. Are you sure you weren't to close to the big rock in the sea? 😊 By the way, that big rock in the sea is known by Nau dos Corvos which means Ravens Ship because it resembles a ship with its big sail.

It was listed on PurePortugalholidays dot com. It was going to be Silvercoast off grid camping. Google it. Its in Salir de Matos about 10 minutes drive outside Caldas da Rainha.
As a portuguese if I had to choose a spot near the coast to build my dream home I would have some degree of difficulty to choose just one spot as theres so many to choose from.
i thought i was a bit strange for liking very quiet, reserved spots with less quantity of people... i think in general modern society we are conditioned or focred to like being around so many people at once...but i really dont like it either and it doesnt feel natural to be clustered together with a dense amount of humans.... i think we are more normal than given credit for:p
So does the costa da prata start from Peniche, Lourinha, or from closer to Lisbon? There seems to be varying opinions on this

I’d encourage you to familiarize yourselves better with speaking Portuguese, considering the amount of time you have been living there.
