Neal try SOHUM living medium just add water. I tried it. And it’s all I use. Recharge & some teas. That’s it. Keeping it simple. Lol. Good information guy’s just love the growing togetherness.
Speed bumps are such a good name. i've been noticing this on my tomato i have in a clay pot. First time trying to grow a tomato in a pot and watering is tricky. this tip really has helped. thanks

I’m new grower and have 3 tents online. 10 autos spaced out a few weeks apart and 4 photos in solo cups ready for 1gal transplant. T1 is 4 autos (2 OG Kush & 2 Cookie Monster) in 5gal soil on week 6 / full flower. T2 is start of week 4 and pre-flower with same strains. I’m trying to get a feel for what to prune during veg & LST. I’ve done both leaving bottom 2 nodes unless close to soil and taking them out. The 1st node def needs to go, but 2nd is hard to decide. I over pruned at least 1 plant in veg and it’s a compact lettuce head shape, other 3 have a nice spread / shape. T3 will are last 2 autos and then 2 Blue Dream & 2 Acapulco Gold photos. Freedom!!

I do believe the light is too close to my plant now. Can't thank you enough. Shoutout to my buddy Brad who pointed me to this video
Thanks for the comment fam! Usually we see the tacoing with to much light, esp in young plants or early veg. LED lights these days are powerful, a good starting point would be 30-40% on the dimmer around 18-24in hang height and dial it up as they go into flower. You will also notice in your older plants if they light is to much the leaf tips will start to flip or try and turn upside down. We rarely run our lights at 100% power . You can also try a phone app par meter to get ya in the ballpark, we hear they work pretty good! 💚

I tried to make my own cannabis seeds, when working in both rooms , wear a tyvec suit cause pollen travels on clothes. So I have tons of bag seeds, which is pretty good

I just recently bought a blumat system (the drip); so far I have been using it on photos with great success. I think it should be even better with autos. Once I get them to this stage it should work beautifully. Then i can make it do it more later. It works on how moist the soil is when you start. So you can set veg moisture levels, let it do its thing. Then change the moisture levels for flower. Let it do its thing. I am excited to try it. You can even run water soluble nutes through it. I am setting up the 5gal pots using mixtures of foxfarms , of+hf+perlite top half pot; sf+perlite bottom half pot. Should be able to get almost all the way through with only 2 feeds and maybe 2 recharge or microbe injections. I can either use ph water or a very light feed. The plants only release water when the medium dries out enough to turn it on. Its gravity fed and so far is working great. Cant wait to try the auto's
I gotta tell someone. I got an auto under a bloomplus 1000 and its 39 days old ish, its definitely growing dont know how well she's growing yet but I'm excited.i also have three female photos somewhere else about 9 days ish into flower and they all have these great little buds. Yeah buddy

@@chroniccare409 nope.. It is just super obvious. I now just wait til I see them droop. You see alot of shows tell you to water every 2 to 3 days. That can end putting you in the overwater zone.
We would have to buy one and the added heat might be an issue, might look into it some day, money is tight, saving for a house, xmas, tabs for all my vehicles, dec is a money pit lol

So autos can turn he/she's n produce balls,seeds. If yo had say 2 norther lights and 1 turned male , in the same tent, would you just not let them doo there thing then get 100+ seeds for your 2 seeds, sounds a no brainer, n you know this ...Man this!..what you think. I'm starting first group, got all equipment, just doing a other bit of homework keep me right.
Do you measure runoff Ph or PPM? Or, do you water specific amounts so as not to get run off. I ask because for my next grow I'm going to duplicate your soil (Promix HP, worm castings harvest hero perlite and NLS Auto flower living soil) and start top dressing with NLS Girl Flower Power....
with NLS , you dont want runoff cause the nutrients are supost to last the whole grow. 6.5 still pH, i asked nls. and since there is nutrients in the soil no need to feed, cal mag and molasses like they said. Id say 0.5mL/qt of water with calmag.
However. I still cal-mag and molasses. Unlike @Rob stated. I have tried NOT and IMO my plants seem happier when I give them those things at least oncea week. ☺
Depends on how you want to grow. I use coco and add my own organic amendments(gaia green). If you want straight forward grow fox farm ocean forest for veg but mix it 50/50 with happy frog or coco loco through veg cycle and when you repot use strawberry fields for flower( all fox farm soils)
By the way, i'm a legacy grower from British Columbia Canada. Yeah, back in the old days when a pound of BC Bud was going for 3600. Anyways, BC is wet and rainy place. It was always nearly impossible to grow outside to finish in late october unless the weather cooperated, which was rare. Crops always rotted with bud rot, or deer eat them of slugs. Back then auto flowers didn't exist the way they do now. There wasn't much experimenting with rudi's and primo cross breeding. So Auto's make sense now if you need them to finish end of august or september. But why grow auto's inside when you don't need the auto mechanism in the plant??

I do use only hf with my seedlings or solo cup size hole in the 5 gallon pot. LIke your previous video on that.

Watering- best is pick up the pot.. if it needs water it will be super light compared to watered.
Do you actually weigh it? Or just saying through repetition getting used to the weight

You definitely could try that! If its a natural male you would have more stable results than if it was a hermie plant!
