A game's player base dwindling is not a bad thing. This is supposed to happen. People play a game, and when they do everything they can do in that game, they move on and play another game. Not every game has to be a live service "play forever" type game. A game "dying" is not a bad thing. Look at Siege for example; that game has gone on far too long and now it is a steaming pile of slop.
i have a theory that bodycam is an alpha test for unrecord and bodycam listed as a different developer just in case it was trash so they can capitalize off of people assuming that unrecord "the original" will be better and buy the game again.
One of the main reasons I think is the performance. I get an unstable 45-75 fps while using fsr3 frame gen with a 3070ti and a 12th gen i7 which also makes it have input lag and blury visuals
That game was just an asset flip, they used Unreal Engine standard character controls and physics (that's why the controls are very stiff), purchased every map, sound, character and weapon model from the Unreal Store, and put them together. Even the camera effect comes from the store, if i'm not mistaken. That's how two guys made it, they actually did not make the stuff that's in it. They created nothing original (maybe the menu and UI ?) and sold this to ride on the popularity of the trailer for another game. I personally hope people won't fall for this too often, of we'll get a lot more cash grabs like that.
what the hell are you talking about, did you have nay proof of what you saying or you just see a bodycam asset in marketplace and you assume that bodycam use it
@@WologVader After spending enough time looking at assets in the Unreal Marketplace you start to recognize certain models and animations. There's nothing wrong with buying an animation pack if you're a coder and don't want to take the time to learn to animate stuff for your project but after a while a lot of games have rather samey animations as a result. Enenra: Demon Core is a DMC/GoW stylish hack and slash that I'm looking forward too that uses a lot of high quality animations from the Marketplace.
I played for an evening and saw that the roadmap and next update were nowhere to be seen, so I got a refund and was out. Stil a good game tho, but not for 30 quid.
They just need to commit to making it a full VR title. Proper motion tracking controls would still give the realistic movement without the janky input lag caused by the game trying to figure out how to IK animate your character model to match where you aim
It was all about graphics bla bla bla , gameplay sucks and then the hype train as always with the TH-camrs "game changer!" $30 is not worth it. PS: Great to see South Africans doing stuff on here!
unrecord an bodycam are two different games. u said the trailer we seen yrs ago an showed the bodycam of the pistol. yeah thats from the game unrecord that hasnt released yet... bodycam is a copy just made into pvp.....
its just a copy of the upcoming game Unrecord, they seen what they were doing and capitalized on it with a bland multiplayer on assets taken from UE5 lmaooo thats what this is
Cool video, man! Keep it up! 👍🏻
Appreciate the support 🙏

Not impossible. Both developers are from France.
Good review.
It’s poppin
Zombies mode coming 👀

Nice video and cool music man keep it up
I feel like the controls really affected its downfall, it was so janky

then why you bought it ?

@@mainstream2226 with anim did they use
Definitely didn’t have a low price $30 for what essentially was a tech demo is steep
Hey man nice music and awesome comment on the topic! Loved bodycam but agree it has flaws. The movement being one
Awesome video man, dropped a sub!

I hate the game Cash grab
are u in south africa?
Yes Sir 👍
This game just needs to go vr it would be really nice
title of the video = its a tech demo
thats why
They just need to commit to making it a full VR title. Proper motion tracking controls would still give the realistic movement without the janky input lag caused by the game trying to figure out how to IK animate your character model to match where you aim
nobody buys vr games, why make a game for only potential of 500 players at max
i feel like making it vr would kinda defeat the point of simulating bodycam footage
