    Got a used 2017 model as my first bike. I gotta say that the frame is fantastic. There is something about that Triple triangle design that actually works. Feel a little jipped because mine came with a 3x7 megadrive and a zoom fork, but a great bike to do a cheap upgrade on.

    I've just bought this bike (Although not the expert one, just the red one) and it's brilliant. Although I'm a novice rider and looking to get into shape, this bike looks like it'll do me for a good while.

    Got this bike a short while ago. It is as it says in the review a good entry bike. I haven’t had to spend too much and I’m getting to feel my way around the trails without over investing. And yes it is a capable bike tackling some decent local trails. It’s a good all rounder imop especially for someone who wants a bike to explore rather than bomb DH all the time!

    This bike is a blast. Excellent starting point hardtail. I have had it now for 4 years. I have modified the drivetrain to a Deore 1x11. I’ve kept the original fork but service it frequently and it gives great service. I have also changed the bottom bracket and cranks. It is now almost 2,5kgs lighter and I love each of the more than 4000km this bike has given me. GT Aggressor Expert is a great bike.

    I saw this on sale in my local bike shop and been ignoring it thinking it is like one of those almost disposable mountain bikes flooding the market (disposable coz they’re so cheaply made you might realise maintaining it isn’t worth it). Glad i stumble upon this. Now im thinking buying one.

      @@Andrew2004 if youre on a true budget you can find tapered forks all over the internet. even a rockshox judy can come with a tapered tube. which would fit in every single new schwinn that came out in 2020.sorry i have a different opinion than you but in 2021 even a GT aggressor should be coming with a taper and a 1x..no reason they shouldnt be doing that by now..upgrading is completely different..but buying it stock in 2021..it should have a tapered headtube (if the person wants to look at better forks) and it should come with a 1x...no excuse why they cant as a big company..

    • @dgaround
      @dgaround 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      as far as upgrading and "budget" all of that is subjective to each ones budget..but for a company like GT in 2021 still doing straight tubes and 3x up front and schwinn selling at walmart with 1x and tapers....it just makes me wonder the thought process is all
