The police have my utmost respect. These men and women have been described as a gift to society when no one else can handle the job or will do it. They deserve our support. 🧡
YES. The police, the firefighters, the EMT deserve our extreme gratitude for at least trying to create and preserve a civilized society. I can't say the same about the judicial system. Not enough executions. People say "the death penalty doesn't deter them." Then society isn't scaring them enough. Make the death penalty too soon and too horrible to even imagine.
Lmfaro! They don't deserve a gawd damn thing. They're corrupt AF and continue to reek havoc on our world. Absolutely clueless society we live in. Seriously disappointing comment. Can't say I'm surprised
I have always love the job of law enforcement officers. To me they are one of the most important people in every country. Without law enforcement officers there would be no safe community
I remember when barone was on his rampage. The whole community was in fear. My mother refused to let me go anywhere alone after dark because I’m a female. It was very scary. Since barone attacked his victims when they were alone, women were urged not to go anywhere alone for their own safety. I’m glad barone was convicted. Now he won’t be able to harm another woman ever again. He was sentenced to death, but I’m not sure if the sentence has been carried out yet or not
Great police work,it is good to know that he was actually put to death and is not just sitting on death row, like most of them are. A life for a life if there absolutely no doubt at all.
I agree. I think they should sit on death row but not now when they're going to die, then someone just comes to get them like "now you're going to die" and it shouldn't take 20 years. No more than a year or even less.
I lived 5 buildings up the road, my wife had just had a baby on July 31, I came home from work everyday about 4:00pm, this particular day I walked in my apartment and my wife needed milk and such, so I went to the corner store and came right back. Nothing ever caught my attention . Across the street was a park, I used to see teenagers playing sports, l'm sure Wendy was one of them.
Lawyering up likely saved the husbands life. The county likely would've prosecuted him, twelve of its finest citizens likely would've found him guilty and the great state of Texas likely would've execute😢d him.
@@marshapieroni6677I looked up the records of the trial. The court has her listed as "Windy" Gallagher....🤷🏻♀️ I thought it surely was Wendy and not Windy, but apparently not....🤭
I have heard the name Windy but rarely. The parents may have gotten the name from a 1967 song about a girl named Windy (yeah, I'm old enough to remember the song)
I used to work with a woman named “Wavey”. I asked her how her parents came up with the name. She said her parents had decided to go out in a rowboat because it was a really nice day. The wind picked up making the water rough with waves. Then her mother went into labor and her father was trying to row to shore. She was born in the rowboat and then the wind dropped off and they made it back to shore. Her father made a comment about it being very wavey out there and that became her name.
As a native of southeastern NC, I pronounce them the same way - just like with pin and pen. It is terribly difficult for me to say "pen" and "Wendy". It ends up feeling like I said, "pan" or "Wandy".
I was a child growing up in Hillsboro while Barone was on his rampage and it’s absolutely terrifying that my mother who was Martha’s age or anyone she knew could have been affected by this man. We could have crossed paths with him at any time. I know these streets very well, my mom was in home care for the elderly and the area was a lot smaller and a lot more tight knit back then. It’s chilling beyond belief.
A pom pom girl would do routines at halftime, whereas a cheerleader works the whole game. Normally there are 5-8 cheerleaders and there might be 20-30 pom-pom girls.
They do need our support. They put their life on the line everyday. 😊
Excellent work by the detectives I bow down to you thankyou from Australia.
It’s Saturday! Yay!!❤️😂

I would love to do what they do if given a chance😊
Too bad most of them are corrupt. Makes it hard for the remaining 1% of them who are actually what a good cop should be.

Til they pull you over and harrasses you. Or barge through your door, violating every privacy you ever thought you had 👍
Hats off to the police they do an incredible job to keep us safe. I just admire watching them in action
No. The police come after something bad has happened. Rarely do they actually prevent something bad from happening.

I still can't understand why society tolerates monsters. It should be ZERO. Utter removal of the "out of body kind."
❤
If I am President one day my first thing will be to increase the salaries of police officers. I realy admire these guys
first you have to run for president… and not all police officers are Good they are a lot of police officers who hide behind the law and just as worst
The president doesn’t determine the pay scale of the police.

Plea bargains should not be allowed once they confess. She will be living in relative luxury whilst her victims are dead

Texas executes innocent people
Look up Cameron Todd Willingham
Who had keys?? Maintenance or security ??

The composite looks like Megyn Kelly.
You referred to the victim as windy as the wind blows, are you sure her name isn’t WENDY?
I'm pretty sure her name was how the wind blows, Windy

americas got the best laws in the world
Re-runs i believe.
I've already watched all of the older seasons on TV.
So, these are all reruns to me
Not complaining though. 😉

still gonna watch em lol
As always. They haven't made new episodes in 20 years
@eph2vv89only1way there was only 9 seasons. I don't know why.
Maybe they were canceled.
Forensic Files has/had around 25 seasons.

Griffith Indiana is also the home of some clodhopper that swallowed a yo-yo.
