I bought a G1023S over 10 years ago and it has been fantastic! If I want to cut something, I check the actual size, occasionally, but whatever the fence indicator shows IS the distance to the fence. It NEVER changes.
I bought my 1023SL 18 years ago. It has been a great saw. At the time of purchase I was the cabinet builder for a cabinet shop. Theirs was a commercial grade, Reliant I believe, which was a pretty nice saw. After using my new Grizzly for a short while I liked the Grizzly much better, and still do today. It’s a great saw! I have the long rails on mine and built a router table into the end. A great setup
You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice th-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.
Received my table saw in pieces all over the freight truck. I had to put everything together and send it back with no compensation for my time. My new one came in one week later. Now the saw shuts down after 10 mins. .. This is not my first table saw I have been making furniture for over 20 years. My electrician friend did testing on the motor and found that the capacitor were bad. Warranty should be 5 year warranty for the price that we pay for this saw.

In order to' keep the price down , taiwan/ china saws sometimes have some flaws . i had this table saw , jointer and planer from grizzyly years ago . the jointer had a small crack in the cast iron . i e mailed a photo of the crack and they immediately responded saying they would replace the jointer . they did so within forty eight hours . Now THATS customer service , plus a very good machine for the price . There are a lot of other saws from Taiwan that have horrible customer service . i'll stick with grizzly and forgive the occasional problem .

I just purchased a G1023RLX table saw. I cant wait to get it. Very excited about my purchase. From all the reviews Im certain I maid the right choice.

Great table saws. Buyer beware of UPS shipping. My saw was delivered damaged.
Have to agree. Every peace of equipment sent out from grizzly via ups freight will arrive damaged its what ups does.
