Pyongyang Restaurant in Siem Reap, Cambodia

At 6:30pm every night, Pyongyang Restaurant in Siem Reap has a 30min long performance by the North Korean waitresses working there. Shortly before the performance starts, busloads of South Korean tourists arrive to enjoy a relatively overpriced dinner (compared to other Siem Reap restaurants) while having the chance to come in close contact with North Koreans. The waitresses here don't wear pins with the Dear Leader's picture, but they do bring a small taste of Pyongyang to the outside world.

No, the UN ordered them closed three years ago (in Cambodia, Vietnam and elsewhere). I weirdly ate at one of them, only later realising it was North Korean?!
